The name and the design of the store is very much from the Soviet-era. The store has a sign labeled “products” in Russian, which is then directly translated into Georgian.

In some of the more rural villages, I have noticed that the older people and townsfolk are confused as to why one would “name” a store. Still very a bourgeois concept in some places.
