Not bad not all that great either!

Rooms was clean, hotel was okay, but there was a lot of traffic in the neighborhood. The continental breakfast came out of a lil Debbie's package, but there are lots of restaurants in the area. Overall it was okay.

This hotel needs security bad.

Posted Oct 10, 2014
With the room doors being on the outside of the hotel you need security. There were 10 of us staying on the second floor and there was a meth lab directly below us with people yelling and screening and they were coming and going. The smell was terrible and strong. We did not call the cops because we did not want more hoodies coming t riddle the place with bullets due to retaliation. Security is needed to push their business somewhere else.

Couldn't Complain

Posted Sep 16, 2014
Pros: The price! A nice big comfy bed in a clean room for less than $60 with tax on a Saturday night!
Cons: More amenities.
Pretty good. Couldn't complain for the price. It took Expedia quite a bit of time to get my reservation to the Hotel, but the staff there had me call Expedia and within five minutes it was all taken care of. Not much in the way of ammenities, no hair dryer, only bar soap, no fridge or microwave unless you walked down to the office, which is closed after a certain time of day (unless you rent one for $10ea, per night) but just to relax, get away, and do absolutely nothing, it was great.

Good for one night

Posted Sep 11, 2014
Pros: Location, price
Cons: Facilities
Location: Starbucks, interstate
It was a in a convenient location because it's right next to the interstate, but the facilities weren't very nice and when you wanted to get a hold of hotel staff or even have breakfast, you had to ring a bell and wait for someone to come to you, which didn't always happen. Also, my bathroom ceiling was peeling off.

A Clean Place to Sleep, but Not Much Else

Posted Aug 26, 2014
Pros: Great attention seems to be paid to cleanliness in the room & on the grounds.
Cons: They need functional internet access in the rooms. Breakfast should have more choices than sugar laden junk food. The rooms need updating.
Location: There's nothing in the immediately area. It's about a half hour drive downtown. A city bus route to downtown goes by the hotel, but not on Sundays.
The Best Value Inn is near the end of a line of value priced hotels in East Indianapolis. The roomwas clean, but the amenities lacking. The towels were a bit on the abrasive side. I couldn't get an internet connection in my room. The TV was an old CRT model which could not access all the channels listed on the card next to it. The breakfast area is a small space across from the front desk. Breakfast was a juice machine, a coffee machine, some prepackaged pastries, Frosted Flakes and a gallon of milk in a mini-fridge. The coffee machine was out of service after the first day. The soda vending machine was kind of pricey.

NO THANK YOU!

Posted Aug 25, 2014
Pros: Great water pressure in the bathroom!
Cons: EVERYTHING
Location: was close to walmart, a wonderful bakery, and after staying in a place like this, the liquor store!!
The walls were dirty and there was trash still in drawers. We booked the room asking for a cot to go with as we had three kids. When we got there they wanted to charge us per child, but I showed them the room included the children when we booked it! There was no cot for us, when asked for extra towels they just kept telling us the laundry wasn't finished. When we asked for a pillow and blanket for my daughter they at first refused, then said they would for a $20 deposit on the second night. We ended up going to Walmart to get these items and my husband slept on the floor on the dog pillows. Breakfast was juice, two cereal containers only one actually having cereal, no milk, and the coffee machine broken. Already booked one for next year--ELSEWHERE!!

Good quality for it's price

Posted Aug 24, 2014
My husband and I spent one night here and it met all of our needs for somewhere safe, clean and adequate to sleep. The bed & linens were in great quality. The AC worked well. There was plenty of parking near our room. If there were quests next door, we couldn't hear them. The water pressure & water temperature was just fine for taking a shower. The only negatives, which really wasn't even a big deal was that the toilet wasn't properly to the floor so it wobbled a bit whilst seated on it. Also that the tv was an old school tube style and it sat on a dresser lower than the bed, so you couldn't comfortably lay in bed and see it all too well. Regardless of those two minor inconveniences, we'd still return to the same hotel for another stay.

Literally stinks

Posted Aug 19, 2014
Well at the beginning of July Indiana made it illegal to smoke in public buildings and holtels. My trip was in mid August so that's a good 6 weeks, my room and Bedding stank of cigarettes smoke. This is a clear indication that they do not bother to properly clean the place. The tap/faucet in the sink leaked and the shower was at best hit and miss for heat and consistency, while at the same time decrepid and in disrepair Now to the wifi. It appeared that the transmitter at my end of the motel had gome down. This was noted to the staff on my first night, who just said there was nothing they could do. To say that the staff were apathetic would be an understatement. They'd taken my money and just didnt care any more In short, do yourself a favour and if you can find an extra $30 spring for a better known like Best Western. Or just go for the cheap rat's nest thats not pretending to be a decent place. Do not stay here

Good for what we needed with some exceptions

Posted Aug 18, 2014
We stayed at this location from 8/14/14-8/17/14. The room was small but efficient. The bathroom was clean and the tub was large. The water pressure and temperature were perfect. Beds were comfortable and clean. The motel claimed there was a continental breakfast in the mornings from 6-8 am but there was nothing but cereal and juice which was very disappointing. The staff wasn't courteous but not rude either. When we were packing to check out we opened the door to find the maid waiting for us which made us feel very rushed.(Check out was 11, we left at 9:30) Overall it was a good price for what we used the rooms for (sleeping and showering) and it is centrally located to restaurants and fast food and only a 15 minute drive from downtown Indy.
