“Nice surprise in Indy...”

This hotel was w/in walking distance to micro-brewerys, restaurants, and shopping (mall connected to hotel) and was an excellant place to stay. The only draw-back to the hotel, no in-room coffee pot. Yes, something you can live without, but... Thankfully the room service was great & speedy!!

We were very pleased with this hotel. GREAT price for a hotel in downtown Indy especially on a holiday weekend. Includes a great breakfast in the AM but be prepared to get up early on a Sunday (7-9 for breakfast). The rooms had just been remodeled and were beautiful and very comfortable. The one thing we really liked was that it is right next door to St. Elmo's Steakhouse-one of the best restaurants in Indy. The only thing we would want to change would be the cost for parking.

Clean, good service, near many attractions. You may want to find parking elsewhere, unless you don't mind paying $20/day + tips!

This hotel is quite charming and very comfortable - my room was spacious and well appointed. The location is also very good - it's within 8 minutes walking distance from the convention center and right in the middle of "downtown"; the hotel also connects to the mall, so there are many restaurants and shops for your every need. I highly recommend it!

nice getaway

“As lovely as expected”

I had worked at another hotel in the area & had always heard of the Canterbury. I was excited to finally get a chance to stay there. The person at the front desk when I checked in - had actually worked at the previous hotel with me. How nice to be greeted by a familiar face! The room was lovely! My training class was 3 1/2 blocks away - so it was a very nice walk. Then with the mall entrance connected to the hotel - it was very easy to meet a friend for dinner. I highly recommend this hotel!

“Very classy, upscale hotel”

I stayed at the Canterbury Hotel in Indianapolis to attend a concert. The hotel was very upscale and classy. The bell hop and valet parking were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting downtown Indianapolis.
