Underrated!
Lots of amenities included not listed (dish washer, garbage disposal, satellite TV etc.) Full panoramic views from living room overlooking the river. Heard other people down the river but never saw anyone we did see some really big fish (wish we had brought weighters). In the summer close to pine river and big Mainestee for those activities. Probably a pretty cool spot for a winter get away too. Would book again.

loved the solitude setting, very quiet and private
Saw plenty of trout swim by, several small animals and two bald Eagles. a bunch of Deer. Excellent stay- this was a repeat location for us and didn't disappoint. Could use a matrices upgrade, that was the common complaint- bed wasn't comfortable.

I wish you would have told me which bed wasn’t comfortable. The master bedroom has a very expensive Purple Mattress. I only had 1 complaint in 9 years. Not going to replace mattress when have now 2 complaints.

In The Woods
This cabin was amazing and definitely in the woods.River was relaxing we seen fish traveling upstream daily.Seen deer right in the driveway a few days so many variety of birds.If you want peace and quiet and be in the middle of the woods this is for you. Floor to ceiling windows gave a beautiful view of outside. Would love to return next year.

Hidden gem
We had the best time at this cabin! Victoria was amazing at communicating, the house was clean and adorable and the property was absolutely breathtaking. None of the kids wanted to leave when we had to pack up on the last day.

Wildlife wonderland
We had perfect weather, cabin is very private and being on the river added extra treats, Salmon daily swim byes, many birds, deer, eagle and even a good size bear came into camp about 10pm. Awesome to see that.

Unplug and relax!
This property was simply lovely. The lack of cell service and wifi forced all of us to take deep breaths, sit back and enjoy the beautiful setting of the cabin. The grandchildren loved sitting at the dock and exploring the woods. The cabin is well appointed and the host has ensured that everything you might need while visiting has been supplied.

Iron's Michigan Property on Little Manistee River
This is our 3rd stay and its location and environment never fail to excite or provide a restful, beautiful experience. The house has a full wall of windows facing the river that provide a constant and changing view as spring comes into full bloom. The river provides a good fishing experience and we recommend that active and outdoor-minded individuals consider arranging a visit here. Victoria is very responsive and pleasant.

Guys Fishing Trip. The location was great. Quick trip to Tippy damn where multiple Salmon we caught. The cabin was very clean and had awesome views. The Owners were very pleasant and quick to respond.

Great getaway option!
Beautiful to say the least. We loved every minute of it. It was our very first cousins trip and couldn’t have picked a better place we were so stunned when we arrived and if we could of stayed longer we would but we are doing the next best thing and renting it again next year for our 2nd cousins trip. I truly recommend this place.

Northern Michigan Getaway
Beautiful 4 day stay at the end of summer. We relaxed and stared in amazement at the beautiful natural environment and relaxed in a wonderfully arranged North Woods home. Wildlife abounds in the river with trout and visits from Red Squirrels gathering pine cones on the property. Also saw a black bear with 3 cubs one early morning which made this visit really special. Beds were comfy and kitchen handy so we had very comfortable stay. Highly recommended to those who appreciate peace and quite and love to be part of nature.

Nice cabin with great location
The cabin has everything you need. The best part is it is right on the river. The river is a bit cold but once you get used to it, it is great. We really enjoyed our time hang out in the woods. A quiet and relaxing place to escape to.

Wonderful Vacation!
We loved this place! The photos do not do it justice and overall we had a wonderfull vacation. My husband and I came to the cabin with with our children (7 and 4) and a few friends. The river was nice and close, and the boys enjoyed fishing off the dock. The day before our stay MI had a terrible storm that wiped out power all over, and Victoria communicated very fast that there was no power but we decied to come anyways. She was extremely helpful and with a few lanterns we made do. The second day, while we visitied Cadillac, Victoria texted me that the power was back on! We also met the SUPER nice cleaning lady Fran when we arrived and she told us about some great Kyacking spots to drop in and also a fish fry reasturant that we all enjoyed. The house was very clean, beds were a bit stiff but we filled our day with so much fun we just crashed anyways. We enjoyed some bald eagles flying above us and the river was fast and super peacefull. We will for sure stay here again if we come back to this side of MI.

Sportsman's Dream
Very secluded property with a beautiful riverside setting. My brothers and I stayed here as a base camp for hunting nearby areas, and it was terrific. Very comfortable, clean and inviting. Be aware that cell signal was a little tough to get, but otherwise, everything was perfect.

What a wonderful property for a much needed get away! The seclusion was amazing. A beautiful location, we enjoyed sitting on the large deck every morning drinking coffee and listening to nature. It is definitely remote, we were "unplugged" for 99% of our stay as the Verizon service is minimal, which we ultimately very much appreciated! Though it was only my husband and I, there is plenty of room for the family. Victoria is always reachable and very responsive, definitely one of the best VRBO owners we have ever worked with. Highly suggest this property!

Peaceful cabin on the river
Victoria was a great owner and responded quickly to my questions! The location of the cabin is remote, about 30 minutes into Manistee for Meijer, restaurants, the boardwalk and Lake Michigan. My sister's and I along with their two small children enjoyed the peacefulness of the river. Breakfast on deck each morning and sitting on the little dock (you have to wade into the river to get to) in the afternoons. We were able to call and text from our phones but no internet, which we actually enjoyed. The cabin was clean and definitely had some 70's vibes going on in the bathrooms! My husband and I live in Northern Michigan and I wouldn't mind going back just the two of us!

Our stay was amazing. The property is beautiful. The pictures don't do it justice!
It was fabulous! The signs that read "Talaga" could be painted so they are easier to read. And the lock box on the gate could be replaced, just a bit hard to open. But definately not a deterrence from renting again. Thank you for your hospitality and for sharing your little piece of heaven with us!
