Nice hotel close to Cornell UniversityPosted Nov 3, 2014
Pros: location - close to Cornell; free shuttle from airport and Cornell;
we lived there twice, once as standard room; this time with the fireplace, which is much better. the room location is at the every end of the building, which is quiet.

Convenient for Cornell, less so for downtownPosted Oct 8, 2014
Pros: Comfortable, quiet
Room was fine; we had an 'executive' king which appeared to be in a separate block from the standard rooms and was probably worth the small amount extra we paid. It was a few minutes drive from downtown so dining options nearby were limited. There was a good 24-hour supermarket very close by.

Best western in IthacaPosted Sep 16, 2014
Cons: A little updating could help
Location: It's near a little shopping area- not far from downtown. Dewitt Cafe and Agava are great places to eat (and affordable)
We got to the hotel earlier than the check in time because we were going on a wine tour. We were just going to let the front desk know that our car was in the parking lot and we'd check in when we got back, but they were able to check us in 4 hours early! The room was clean- a little dated, but that's fine for the price you are paying. Everything worked well and it was quiet. It was a nice location- some restaurants within walking distance- we'd recommend Agava if you like Mexican.

Pleasant stay at Best Western University Inn.Posted Sep 15, 2014
Pros: Spacious room and washroom, free parking, ease of access.
Cons: A detachable shower head would be wonderful.
Location: Cornell University is just barely within walking distance.
I chose this hotel because it is affordable and just barely within walking distance of Cornell University (without having to negotiate steep slopes like those hotels downtown). The room is spacious, and parking is free. The hotel is also easily accessible from the main routes like Rt 366 and Rt 13. Having P&C, Burger King, and a gas station within a stone's throw of the hotel was also extremely convenient.

Ok placePosted Sep 14, 2014
Pros: outside, including hallsway was well kept
Cons: Keeping rooms more acceptable
Location: good location
It was a mix of experience, on one hand-the attention was ok, as well as the breakfast environment, but the room was not well kept

Convenient location adjacent to Cornell UniversityPosted Aug 30, 2014
Pros: It's location to the University.
Cons: Check the condition of the mattress frequently and replace if necessary.
We chose this hotel because of its convenient location to the University. My suggestion is that Management should consider replacing the bed mattresses more regularly to ensure guests would have a restful sleep during their stays.

Three restful nights in IthacaPosted Aug 21, 2014
Pros: Free shuttle bus (pre-booked) within Ithaca
Cons: Internet could be more reliable
We spend three comfy and relaxing nights in Ithaca. The room we had was spacious and well presented, the staff were really helpful. Best Western was in the same location as a 24 hour supermarket. And the hiking in Ithaca was brilliant!

Pros: Convenient to where our grandson lives
Visited with Grandson who is a college student in Ithaca. Took a dinner cruise on the M/V Columbia where our grandson has a summer job, sailing around Cayuga Lake. Went to see some of the waterfalls, and visited 3 wineries on the wine trail. Had dinner at the Boat House Restaurant. Watched the Cleveland Browns/Washington redskins game at our grandson's apartment. Had breakfast at Collegetown Bagels, and left Tues morning.
