Small but cozy
It’s a small place but suitable for our needs. We have family 1 mile away and was over there most of the time so sleep and showers was all we used it for. It was very clean and location was great

Celebration of Life
We needed accommodations in the area for a celebration of life ceremony. Although the location was about 15 minutes outside of town, the accommodations worked out fine for our stay.

Warm and Cozy plus impeccably clean!
Cabin was just as described and pictures are accurate. The Christmas tree and lights were an unexpected and perfect touch! Everything was spotless and extremely clean. We can't wait to stay again during our next trip to Jamestown!

Privacy needed
My husband and I stayed in this cozy cabin while visiting family nearby, it was perfect! We were able to visit then come back to a nice relaxing cabin to ourselves. We had coffee in the mornings while watching birds and squirrels. We hiked on the trails then got ready for our busy days. Host was fast to respond with questions and cabin was well stocked. We are definitely using this cabin for every visit from now on.

Nice quiet cabin
Great clean cabin in a quiet area. It had everything we needed for a couple night's stay. Not too far from restaurants at Jamestown and close to Pickett State Park & Big South Fork.

Wonderful cabin in peaceful and quiet location
I have stayed in this cabin several times and it is delightful. It has a loft and bedroom for sleeping. The cabin is small but it can accommodate up to three-four people comfortably. The environment around the cabin is peaceful and quiet. I always look forward to staying in this cabin. It is clean and you have pretty much everything you need.

Stellar under the Stars
Horseshoe Hideaway is classy rustic with special creative touches for coziness. While basic, It's positively charming features were phenomenally functional, welcoming me "home" after spending time with a childhood friend near Pickett State Park. And Shanna was a perfect host!

Clean and simple
Just wanted a simple clean place to relax for a couple days, and this was what we needed. Weather wasn't good, so we couldn't take advantage of the outside space. The inside was good though. The listing is exactly as the place is. No fancy photography angles or lighting. Honest listing

Relax in the woods!
A great stay at Shanna and Loyd’s place. Everything is accurate in the description. It is a great location. I hiked over the trails. Cabin is clean and well stocked for cooking supplies. Very relaxing spot.

Excellent Location
Arrived late and host had heat and lights on for us. Everything was clean and fresh. Had a Christmas tree up for us. We have several family members in Jamestown and Pall Mall area. It was cold outside so we did not partake of the fire pit and deck area. Had a wonderful time and look forward to are next visit.

The cabin was exactly what we needed for our trip to the area. It had a kitchen with all the supplies we needed for meals. My children loved the loft. We enjoyed sitting on the deck viewing the fall colors, and the peace and quiet.

Excellent Getaway
We had a wonderful stay here and enjoyed the beautiful surroundings. The cabin had everything we needed or wanted. We used the cabin as a second bedroom, as our daughter lives two roads over from here, but only has a one bedroom cabin herself. My wife and I enjoyed the privacy and coziness that this place offered. The cabin is very well maintained and managed.

Perfect cabin for a visit to Tennessee
The Cabin is located in a quiet wooded area and has a beautiful back porch overlooking the woods. There is loft with a king size bed which is comfortable and dark for a good night sleep. Cabin has everything you will need. It is also close to Walmart for grocery shopping and little things that you may have left behind. The hosts are really responsible and quick to respond to any questions you may have. I highly recommend a stay in this cabin.

Perfect Horse Trip Getaway

The cabin was clean and well equipped. Location was wonderful! Close to every place we wanted to visit. Quiet and peaceful with very little light noise so the stars were very visible. Enjoyed the fire pit at night and just sitting on the back deck in the afternoon in the sun. Hostess was very kind and attentive. Only real issues were the low kitchen ceiling (my husband is 6'3" and kept hitting his head on the light fixture) and the shower was a tight fit for him as well. Overall we had a great stay and would recommend.

It is centrally located between Big South Fork, Alvin C. York, and Pickett state parks. We made use of the fire pit each night after a long day in the woods. A great place to spend a few days to get away.

Adorable quiet Cabin!
I inquired about this cabin for a girls weekend get away. From the start of the process to check out of the cabin, Shanna was very responsive to any messages I sent her. The whole process was easy. The cabin is so adorable and well equipped with everything you could possibly need. It's location is in a great spot for different adventures you may want do in the surrounding areas. This is a horse lovers dream aswell if you want to take your horses and ride the trails in the area. I would definitely love to visit again and would recommend for anyone wanting a weekend getaway to stay here. The only thing I would warn is the shower is small for anyone taller or larger. So if your looking for a quiet place to be adventures or just relax by a fire and enjoy nature, then this is your place!

Holiday Getaway
I have nothing but positive things to say about the experience at the cabin. The hosts Shanna and Loyd were very flexible with accommodations for me and I couldn't be thankful enough. The cabin itself and the location was exactly what I was looking for. So much to do near the cabin and within a short drive to great hiking trails and parks. The cabin was decorated very nicely for Christmas and no detail was spared in terms of the necessities inside. I brought food and had everything I needed to cook every meal in the cabin. What a great stay - I hope to be back soon!

Amazing Stay!
The cabin was adorable, had everything we needed for a weekend away and was so peaceful. It's close enough to other houses that you don't feel completely alone but secluded to where I only heard one or two cars running down the road while we were there. Waking up and enjoying some tea on the back deck was such a relaxing way to spend the morning! Big South Fork National Park is about 30 minutes east and has INCREDIBLE views! I highly recommend this stay! Shanna was very responsive and helpful when we ancountered a problem with the wifi and it was resolved quickly!
