All facilities are very old, and not clean. This hotel should be remodeled.

Old hotel close to NYC

Posted Jan 6, 2015
We stayed only for a night as we were visiting New York. Hotel location was close to NYC and the hot breakfast was good. Other than that hotel condition is very poor. Hotel is really really old. We had a suite - the sofa bed was so uncomfortable my brother's entire body ached by sleeping on it. There was no hot water so we couldn't take a shower. Only 1 set of toiletries were provided for 5 guests. We will not stay there again.

Close to New York City

Posted Dec 28, 2014
Pros: The hot breakfast and proximity to New York City.
Cons: Hot water and a warmer swimming pool.
Location: Excellent location near New York City. Close to shopping in the Meadowlands, boardwalk for exploring the natural environment, and places to eat.
La Qunita Hotel is an excellent location as you can take the NJ transit right into Port Authority terminal from in front of the hotel. It costs $7.90/person return and you don't have to return the same day you leave. Overall the experience was good at the hotel with a hot breakfast that had an abundance of choices. One very negative of the hotel is the lack of hot water in the morning for a shower. The front desk staff member told me it takes awhile to get up to the ninth floor. However, many people on lower floors didn't have any hot water either. The hotel was full, as it was just before Christmas holidays so this may not be a regular problem with less people in the hotel.

Perfect location for NYC and the Met LIfe Stadium.

Posted Dec 26, 2014
Pros: Location, comfortable room, great breakfast, convenience to NYC and Met LIfe Stadium, the price
Cons: Hot water
Location: Again, NYC and the ease of getting there by bus. Met Life Stadium for the Patriot's Jet's game
Enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The staff were very friendly, facilities more than adequate (unless I wanted to work out as I found the fitness center a little lacking). I would definitely stay there in the future as the room was very comfortable and the breakfast was more than adequate. The only small issue was the lack of hot water for showers on sunday morning.

Great experience.

Posted Dec 26, 2014
Pros: The price, the location and the free breakfest.
Cons: The carpet have a couple of spot on it and the bath is not spotless.
Location: A lot a store are very near in New Jersey and if you take the bus you have New York at only 20 min.
It's an exellent choice if you're not too picky. The breakfest it's great and the choice of meal is simple but efficiant. A bus stop is located in front of the hotel and go directly to the 42th street of New York in 20 minutes.

Just okay

Posted Dec 21, 2014
Pros: Staff was nice and the atmosphere was decent.
Location: Typical mall
The tub was clogged and sometimes the toilet as well. We had 3 people and I slept on the pull-out sofa. The pull-out sofa was not comfortable as I felt springs that kept me up for a while.

Pros: Especially the friendliness and accomodating staff.
Location: The bus to catch to NYC was right across the street and let us off not far from Time Square and Rockerfeller Center.
The staff couldn't have been nicer. The rooms were cleaned perfectly. They had a small sitting room attached which came in handy. And the bus to catch for NYC was right across the street. We all agreed we would stay there again. The continental breakfast choices were excellent.

Great Location, Shopping, Restaurants and NY.

Posted Nov 3, 2014
Pros: Location, staff and shuttle service.
Cons: Fix the 2nd elevator, proper plates and crockery for breakfast.
Location: Within 15 min walk of all the shopping and dining that I could bear.
The Hotel offers an excellent location very close to local shopping and dining options, and is only a 20 min ($7) bus ride from Manhattan from a stop right outside. The hotel was clean and comfortable enough to be an excellent base. We stayed for 4 nights and the only concern was delays in the elevators, as one of the two was apparently inopperative. Staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast was adequate, if you dont mind plastic plates, knives and forks!! I'd go back!

Very comfortable room , only problem was the elevator under repair, leaving only one elevator functioning. check out time later than other hotels.
