Inexpensive hotel, know why.Posted Mar 4, 2015
Pros: The foyer was nice.
Cons: Clean the rooms, update the furniture, fix the elevator, phone in hallways to contact front desk for entry problems.
Location: Alot of things nearby. Location was ideal.
We stayed one night for a quick NYC trip. The suite is decorated poorly and furniture looked too dirty to sit on. We covered with a sheet. Beds had "dips" in the middle, making the friend bed sharing a bit awkward. I am only glad we didn't see the cockroach until the next morning. All in all, will pay the extra money for the piece of mind and a clean sleep. Oh.... and the door handle must turn "up" to enter. I had to go back down to the lobby to find out that tidbit of info (no phone in hallways).

was having a procedure done close byPosted Mar 1, 2015
Pros: the convenience and price, nice breakfast
Cons: outdated furniture and carpet needed replaced
staff was extremely friendly, breakfast was good. provided information for transportation when needed. I was having a surgical procedure done near by so this was convenient and the price was very economical .

Stayed for two night. Very clean room and very comfortable! Excellent continental breakfast, almost like lunch. They got everything there. Will absolutely stay there again.

Hotel bar was closed for the entire weekendPosted Feb 17, 2015
Was not able to smoke in my room after booking a smoking room and requesting accommodation for the following day. Pool was not appealing and bar was closed for the weekend, mind you it was valentines. Not cool

Good Hotel, fair pricedPosted Feb 6, 2015
Pros: The hotel is directly connected to the busses, so you can easy travel to manhattan.
Cons: Change the description of the amenities, because the Restaurant "Bacchus" is closed. And it was closed as we were stay'd in the Hotel a few years ago.
We had a room in the 7th floor, with a view to Manhattan. That was an awesome view. The stuff was always friendly and helpful, would recommend that hotel to friends and family. It is fair priced, the breakfast was really good, but for environmental reason, they should change to plates and silverware.

Old hotel close to NYCPosted Jan 6, 2015
We stayed only for a night as we were visiting New York. Hotel location was close to NYC and the hot breakfast was good. Other than that hotel condition is very poor. Hotel is really really old. We had a suite - the sofa bed was so uncomfortable my brother's entire body ached by sleeping on it. There was no hot water so we couldn't take a shower. Only 1 set of toiletries were provided for 5 guests. We will not stay there again.

Close to New York CityPosted Dec 28, 2014
Pros: The hot breakfast and proximity to New York City.
Cons: Hot water and a warmer swimming pool.
Location: Excellent location near New York City. Close to shopping in the Meadowlands, boardwalk for exploring the natural environment, and places to eat.
La Qunita Hotel is an excellent location as you can take the NJ transit right into Port Authority terminal from in front of the hotel. It costs $7.90/person return and you don't have to return the same day you leave. Overall the experience was good at the hotel with a hot breakfast that had an abundance of choices. One very negative of the hotel is the lack of hot water in the morning for a shower. The front desk staff member told me it takes awhile to get up to the ninth floor. However, many people on lower floors didn't have any hot water either. The hotel was full, as it was just before Christmas holidays so this may not be a regular problem with less people in the hotel.
