The lady at the front desk is the best part of this horrible location. Travelodge has no clue the gem they have in her and she deserves a better place to work. The bedsheets had hair and yellow stains on them. The shower had rust and blood stains in the shower. The TV doesn't work. There was no breakfast given (not even a banana). We could barely get the hotel door open its so old and stuck. The floors were black and dirty. It was a crap fest that needs to be bulldozed down and rebuilt by someone that actually cares.

FRAUDALENT MISREPRESENTATION - DO NOT STAY HERE
This motel listing is a fraudalent misrepresentation.The pictures of the rooms are nothing like the rooms, hotel and lobby. Read the reviews and ALL of the 10 rated reviews can be assumed to be fake reviews. No one. And I mean no one would ever give this hotel a "10". Never. I reported this location and the owner to Wyndham. They are deceiving customers, DO NOT BE A VICTIM. And Hotels.com refunded my payment when I refused to stay here. The Travelodge in Junction City, Kansas is truly a scumbag business.

When we went to go to our room. There were several spanish guys close to the front of the entrance on the opposite end of the front desk. They had a small bbq grill. That was fine but they were practically blocking the entrance. We went to our room. The chairs were very very dirty. There was no phone. The bed looked 40 years old. It sunk in the middle. We went and got something to eat. Came back to the motel. We were using the door on the opposite end from the front desk. My husband noticed that we didn't have to use the key. The lock was broke so anyone could come into the hotel. The door to the room didn't automatically close and when it was closed and locked there was a gap all around the door. The remote to the TV barely worked. There was no place to put the suitcase. We pulled the bedspread and top sheet down wasn't sure it was clean. My husband didn't even change his clothes. I changed into my pajamas. When we went to bed we didn't cover up. I set my alarm for 4am. My husband didn't sleep at all. I slept off and on. We were concerned about the safety it did not have. My alarm went off. We got up and left by 4:30am.There was no hand soap. Every time I moved my husband was disturbed. We worried about our safety. Very disappointed with the hotel room. Put the key in the box and left.

There is nothing good at all about this hotel! It was disgusting. The pictures that are on the website are not from this hotel. The sink dripped, the shower curtain was gross!! It hasn’t been updated since the 70s. Faulty connection wires taped together big fire hazard! This place should be shut down!!! No breakfast like it said on your website. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to ANYONE! I will actually like my money back!

I don't normally give poor reviews, but this was the worst hotel experience I have ever had. We had a king size bed for two people with 3 (flat) pillows. My husband went to ask for an additional pillow and was told they didn't have any more. Then about 12:30 in the morning, a fight broke out in the hallway outside of our room. People were yelling and cussing. Made us nervous. Then in the morning, my husband went to get coffee and talk to the desk clerk about the events of the night and no one ever came to the desk. Never did when he checked out either. Also, the room wasn't filthy but it was far from clean.

The room was not cleaned. The tub and fridge were dirty and they didn’t change my sheets, someone’s pills were in the sheets. The property also had a slight smell, most likely the carpet. The front desk rep was asleep in the back when we arrived. Staff was apologetic about the room

Late planning on my part gets you this experience. This hotel was filthy and worn down. Not sure how it rated 6 out of 10, but I can tell you, the pictures are NOTHING like real life. I have included pictures of our room and bathroom.

Convenient, very old, AC barely worked. bed was no better than a pull out couch. Didn't have the rooms reserved. Desk was friendly but didn't help. Glad it was only one night. Would not stay again unless there were no other options.

Although the desk assistant disclosed the facility was going through ownership changes, the hotel was all sub par. We received one room key instead of two. The pool was closed, the continental breakfast room was closed.we requested an extra set of pillows and they could not provide them. The outlets in the room did not work, the bathtub was stained and dirty, the air conditioning was not consistent, the in room unit turned off randomly. We were given the wifi network name and password and it did not work, and the desk assistant wasn't able to remedy this when requested. There was a smoke detector that had a low battery that beeped the entire duration of our stay even though we brought it to the front desk’s attention. We weren't given a do not disturb or linen turn down service needed placard so the cleaning staff entered our room without knocking or acknowledgment while we were there. It was an overall extremely disappointing stay.

The overall experience was aweful!!! I booked the room then the lady who was working the front desk called my phone to ask when I will be there to check in. I informed her I was still on the road and should arrive by 1130. She stated that if I’m not there by that time she would cancel my room that was reserved and give it to another person. Once I did arrive and check in, I went to the room to check it out. Unfortunately, there were no linens within the room. I went back downstairs to request linens along with toiletries. The lady working stated that she is unable to get me anything and it’s not her problem. I then requested to speak with the manager Nick. Once he came out from the back office proceeded to ask me what the issue is. I informed him there are no linens (face towels, body towels, toiletries). He stated that his machine is down and unable to do anything. I asked if he had keys to the linen closet and he stated he didn’t. I asked what it is that he can do and he stated nothing that I could leave the property. So again the overall stay for this location was unsatisfactory and I wouldn’t book with them again

Absolutely the worst hotel We have ever stayed in First and foremost front desk service really didn’t exist they were either not there most of the time or do not answer the bell the hotels website said it had a swimming pool witch also Didn’t exist Shower head Leaked the tv had a bad Speaker and Our sheets were not replaced every day the bathroom was not clean and none of doors to the outside of the hotel was locked at night so there was people that were not even Guests of the hotel walking around all times of the night and last night we had to drive around the town for 30 mins because of all the gang bangers in the parking lot of the hotel yelling and drinking it made us feel very unsafe my wife is 8 months pregnant and I was worried the hole time because of all the Hostile people we had to in counter with are children and are self’s

The Expedia description states “pets stay free”. Upon check-in, we were told there is a $15 fee/pet. The floor was very sticky, the towels were practically transparent they were so thin, and the back door into the hotel did not lock.

It was very hot in our hotel room which made it extremely hard to sleep. We even had the air conditioner on high and the temperature set to as low as we could. (60 degrees) Also, there was no remote for the tv in the room and when we went to the front desk to ask for one nobody answered the bell. We stood at the desk for a good 15-20 minutes ringing the bell.

INCOMING SOLDIERS; READ THIS REVIEW!
This place has mold, cold water, no basic filter catch for debris in the pipes for the sink water, blood stains on the mattress and the AC smelled like human urine, rooms a covered in dust and smelled like pot every day through out the building. Had a reservation for 18 nights, checked out on night 12 and they stole the rest of my money for the 6 nights I did not stay there. Currently going through the military legal orginization to get the money back, since the stay was paid by a government account. This hotel will be on the Blacklist for soldiers - Do not stay here
On top of head board above your head.
If you have medications that need to be in the fridge, it will freeze. Also smells bad.
Equipment and utilities are poorly maintained.
Nothing to stop large debris from getting into anything you might be trying to drink.
