What’s more convenient than stepping off the train and into your hotel? Beautiful facility, larger than standard room size, and the whole place smells like their amenities do, of fragrant Darjeeling tea! Loved it.

Excellent location just 1 min walk after you come out from train gates. Rooms are decent size but bathroom small and didn't have an exhaust. Also didn't provide bottled water

My family and I really enjoyed our stay at JR Kyushu Hotel. The staff are very helpful, kind, and provide amazing service. The hotel is very clean and is located steps away from the Amu Plaza Shopping Centre, the local train station and bus station. There are many options of places to eat including street style foods literally right near the entrance of the hotel. A Starbucks just below. My mom is elderly and even she enjoyed her stay at the hotel. If I can go back again, I would absolutely stay at this hotel.

Very convenient hotel
Easy access from the Kagoshima chuo train station. Very nice room. Hotel has restaurant. Coin laundry. Lots of restaurants and shopping nearby.

The hotel is less than 2 min walk from JR station. We left our tablet at the hotel when checked out and the hotel was kind to keep the tablet till we returned 2 days later.

Customary high JR Kyushu standards, at a reasonable price. We have been traveling as three adults, my wife, our college-aged son and me, so I have booked three single rooms for each night. We are from the United States and each of us has adapted differently to jet lag, which is one reason for the three separate rooms. Very small rooms by U.S. standards, but fine, and completely quiet. We visited the Chiran Peace Museum, a day trip about an hour and a half bus trip each way. The bus left from the train station, adjacent to the hotel. The exhibits at Chiran on the young Tokko (Kamikaze) pilots were moving and were well worth the trip. We stopped for an hour or so at Chiran Gardens on the way back, also worth the stop. Our two nights at this hotel were excellent.

hotel was convenience for shopping, restaurant, but the breakfast just very so so , i will try Solaria hotel instead next time. since room design a bit old fashion, even we had booked a bigger double room and the view was not good.

Location is good. We arrived Kagoshima by JRˋshinkansen. We just walked 1 minute from exit of train station in the same level to hotel. Transpotation was very good from hotel to other place. Room is clean and quite. It has washing and drying machine (public) to use.

JR Hotel chain delivers great comfort and experience. Memorable lobby, and terrific breakfast buffet.. simply UMAI. Great stay in this one, but room is somewhat smaller than expected (although not entirely surprised). Terrific location.
