Weekend Family Wedding in the Area
We enjoyed our stay in the studio suite! We were very comfortable and had everything we needed. My husband and I would definitely stay here again. The hosts were very responsive to any questions we had! Thanks for a great weekend!!!

Unplug and unwind
My partner and I stayed on the property for 4 days and enjoyed every minute of it. We were looking to spend some quality time with each other, unplug and unwind. We stopped by the grocery store on our way there in Lee’s Summit and got all our supplies so we wouldn’t need to leave the cabin once we arrived. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed for those four days (to include a grill, which my partner made a delicious steak dinner!) The hosts were very responsive to any questions we had prior to and after arriving at the cabin. We really enjoyed our time there and look forward to returning some time in the future. Thank you!

nice place to get away for the weekend.....a lot of road noise.....we rented the studio suite and whoever was in the main cabin was very loud late at night...no respect for other renters. cabin was clean and cozy

A cozy cabin, next to lots of shopping! :)
My husband and I stayed at this property for a quick get away. The listing was accurate, as it is close to a busy road, and we did hear some road noise. However, this meant we were minutes away from shopping, a wonderful winery, and didn't have to fight traffic to get back to where we were staying. The hosts were wonderful, and the cleanliness of the propery was exemplary!

Studio cabin
Very clean but lacked some kitchen items,(wine opener, glasses). Traffic noise was very loud even in the middle of night(trucks breaking). Place was freezing. My sister-in-law was staying in the 2 BR and found out the thermostat controlled both sides. Was set at 71. If we couldn’t have gotten in to change it would hav left. Also that apartment had the water heater for both sides. Took a long time to get hot water.

Great weekend for a little private time and R & R
From the moment we opened the door the property was everything we had wanted. Clean, had coffee, popcorn, ice in the deep freeze, creamer- ketchup ect in the fridge. The host was super knowledgeable and provided a ton of information about the area. The cabin itself was close to the hi-way, but the back road to the the lake area was fun and relaxing. If you are looking for a break this was great! Loved the hot tub for two in the room and the gas logs in the fireplace made it perfect for us!

Cozy cabin
The lone jack studio cabin is the perfect retreat for a couples weekend. Close enough to the city to go out but comfortable enough to stay in, disconnect from the hustle and bustle, and relax. I highly recommend this property and look forward to staying again.

My husband and I were looking for an easy mini vaca spot for a kid free weekend, this place was perfect for that. Felt like we were getting away, but also still close to the city and other fun things to do. The high way was noisy but there was a box fan in the closet that drowned it out just fine. Overall we enjoyed our stay!

We had a wonderful stay for our 19th Anniversary. Reading reviews I knew to bring a noise machine / fan which helped with the highway noise. Bed was super comfortable! The jacuzzi was wonderful. The location was the perfect distance from stuff to do it the city. Would definitely recommend this place! Even considering renting out both units for our children to come stay next time too! The Lovett coffee house was just the sweetest place and breakfast was delicious! Habaneros for nearby Mexican food!

Great Getaway close to Kansas City
My husband and I had a great weekend getaway at this real log cabin. We were still so close to Kansas City that we were able to last minute decide to go to a Sporting KC MLS game. This cabin is also so close to anything in Lee's Summit to grab dinner out or groceries. One thing to be aware of it is a shared building with a family style cabin, so make sure to bring a noise/sound machine.

The cabin was cute and cozy. The hwy noise was a bit much but Thursday it rained all day which we stayed in and the rain drowned out the hwy noise. Definitely would recommend and will be visiting again soon.

Great little getaway!
This cabin is so cute and cozy. It was perfect for a romantic weekend getaway for our babymoon. The cabin had everything we needed and was beautiful to stay in. The hosts were great and easy to communicate with. I understand what some reviews meant by a bit of highway noise, but it honestly didn't bother us. Tip: The nearby Lovett Coffee House in Lone Jack was a great place for breakfast. Overall, we had a lovely stay and would recommend it to a friend!

What a great cabin. You must overlook the road noise because its that cute! Its super conveniently located and the jetted tub was awesome. We saw wild turkey and deer in the road adjacent to the property. Will stay again when we are back this way.

Overall a perfect place for 2!
For 2 people this cabin was perfect. It’s right next to the highway so it doesn’t give that “secluded” type of feel but it is very convenient being able to jump right on the highway to go explore KC and the surrounding cities which we did almost every day. The jacuzzi was wonderful and everything was of great quality. The only reason I didn’t put this as a 5 is just because of a few little things such as a broken bathroom door and a few things that I think could have been included in the kitchen (such as a bigger mixing bowl or a whisk etc.). The hosts were great at communication and overall we loved our stay! We recommend!

The place was immaculate when I got here. Great cozy cabin close to town and fully stocked with linens and a few pots and pans. Right by a highway so a little bit of road noise bit other than that it was perfect. Great response time from the mnaaagers too. Highly recommend.

Kellie couldn't have been a more perfect host. She communicated excellently and the place was spotless. The fireplace was nice and warming and made relaxing easy. The whirlpool was great, we had plenty of hot water. If we didn't get in so late it would have been easier to find but that was on us.

Perfect for our 1st Christmas!
The unit was larger than it appeared in the photos and the tall ceilings were increadible. We only had the cabin for a couple nights, but next time it will be much more. The place was well stocked with towels, blankets, coffees and amenities were nice. Most people wouldnt have much reason to cook on a getaway, but if you plan to you might want to bring your own knives and cookware/mixing bowls. The tub was great and we loved the fireplace. Perfectly quaint yet modern place for two.
This has been a wonderful little getaway for our tenth wedding anniversary. We really enjoyed the atmosphere with the fireplace and just the perfect touch of holiday decorations. The cabin is very clean, cozy and comfortable. The tub adds a nice relaxing touch. Glad we found it on Vrbo!
