Congratulations to the wonderful staff, very friendly and helpful. Hotel location was good in that Earls Court/Kensington area of London. Easy access to the Tube.

The Hotel is very nice, located in a beautiful neighborhood, full of green and 3 blocks away from Earls court underground station. Full of restaurants, supermarkets and many shops within 5 blocks. Staff is very responsive and always willing to help and make one’s stay comfortable. Room was quite small but ok for the price. Breakfast is good and complete. Would stay again.

Great location. Floor in room was a bit dirty/not properly vacuumed. The next door room had access to a balcony that linked to my window so it was a bit of a privacy issue. Front desk service was ok. Breakfast options were decent

Rooms are very tiny, but nice. The hotel is somewhat hard to navigate with luggage. The location is great, easy access to public transit and very nice looking neighborhood.

I had a wonderful experience at this exceptional hotel. The staff members were incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. As Canadians we are used to somewhat larger accommodations, so the room size can be little jarring. But the washrooms are good size, and bed was comfortable. Staff very polite and helpful, complimentary breakfast adequate and the neighborhood is wonderful. Close to restaurants, convenience stores and the underground. Thanks for a great stay.

The property itself was fine, I find it's more like a BNB and I have stayed at a number of them before both in London and other areas. The building was nice, the staff was friendly and the breakfast was good. The neighborhood was quiet and it was very close to public transport. The reason for the 3 star was the room was very noisy with people coming in and out of the building and up and down the stairs. It was very hard to sleep. I would assume it was where the room was located, I really don't think there should be a room there at all, it was just off the main reception area on the first floor and the staircase was above the bathroom maybe if we had stayed in a different room the experience might have been better.

Great place to stay and good value. The continental breakfast was good and kept well stocked. The staff were excellent nothing was too much trouble. The rooms were very clean and comfortable.

A lovely building and wonderful staff. The room was clean and pretty. Only minus here is that the sound insulation wasn't the best (from outside) due to ageing (but beautiful) windows.

Recommend!
Very good stay. Comfy bed, great free breakfast. One downside was the ceilings are thin so could hear walking above us a lot. Nothing which earplugs can sort!

The hotel is easy to find, beautiful decor but bathroom is looking tired, the toilet seat very loose so you had to be careful when sitting on it, the shower trickles water at the best and is a rain shower head which is a pain for women who dont want to wash your hair, however there is a shower cap. the sink in the bathroom is in a very tight place and no room to put anything. The room kettle kept popping open when trying to boil. The bed was not the most comfortable i have slept in but ok if not a little hard. Size of the room a little cramped as such a huge wooden bed with legs that stick out took up most of the room. Lounge area was beautifully decorated. The breakfast room very very cramped and a limited selection of breakfast items, croissants very crispy so i dont think very fresh or they had been heated and left to go cold, banana or apple was the only option of fruit, staff dont really speak to you, coffee from flasks was cold but the staff did get me hot coffee from the machine but you have to ask for it. Parking is the opposite side of garden square out front a 2 min walk but there is only space for 4 cars. This hotel was ok for a 1 night stay and a bargain price as i had student discount but i would not of been happy if i had paid over £80 for the room. I dont think i would go back again.

We, like most of the hotels, do not have breakfast room capacity for all rooms, especially when all guests wake up late through the weekend. We provide 2-hour time slots for breakfast every day. Our mattresses are medium hard each bed has a mattress top to make it even softer. We understand that even with a mattress each guest has different preferences. Unfortunatelly in case coffee is cold we please ask you to report it to our members of staff. Our croissants are baked fresh every morning, and if they made it a bit more crispy it doesn't mean they are from a previous day. Please accept our sincere apologies for all the inconvenience caused. In the future please let us know if you are not happy with something in your room or during breakfast. We always try our best to make our guests happy, but if we are not aware that they are not satisfied it is very hard. We have a 24-hour reception so guests can report all issues or change their room if we have an availability.

Reasonable for the price
I usually stay in the Premier Inn Hub when in this area, but this place was £50 cheaper so I decided to risk it. Perfectly acceptable hotel, nothing fancy but I felt it was clean and safe. Breakfast is basic (juice, tea/coffee, toast, hard boiled eggs, mini croissant, cereal, cheese etc) but better than I'd have had if it wasn't included. Certainly stay again. Room was on the small side, but for one person it was fine. If my wife was with me, I'd probably go for a larger room, particularly for more than one night.

Needs revamping
I arrived to find out that I had been upgraded from the small double to standard double which was nice, as I wanted a view of the garden. However, in inspection I noted the room has many things wrong. The toilet was broken, the shower doors were not secure so couldn’t close, the window wouldn’t shut properly so I was cold most of my stay as the windows were just old. The bed itself was comfortable, but due to being large wood framed, dust was covered so I was up most of the first night sneezing. I did inform the desk the same day, however on my return only the toilet had been fixed. Really needed a good clean. Breakfast was lovely, staff were nice.

What a nightmare! Got a rude awaking at 7.45 with bottles clanging. For over an hour there was a building banging away in the next bedroom. When my checkout is 11am I expect to have a nice layin and enjoy the experience and to top it off is upgraded to a luxury room. Very disappointed and staff miserable

The location of the hotel was very good situated in a lovely residential area but within walkiing distance of the tube and kensington museums. The hotel was of a high quality in its presentation and cleanliness and the staff were very helpful. I will stay there in the future and recommend others to do the same.

It was quiet at night (except for noisy flooring to be expected in an old London hotel) and quite small but exactly what to expect for an inexpensive room. The bed was comfortable and everything was clean and working. The air conditioning was top notch and quiet as well. I would recommend this hotel and would stay again.

Room was completely different to advertised. Situated in a basement. Water dripping from aircon unit in the room off the entrance. The room itself felt damp and airless. All the hotel gas done is stick a four-poster bed in a basement room, then advertise it as a large room with a view. Completely dishonest. When I complained they argued with me. I travel a lot. Easily the worst hotel I've stayed in. Avoid at all costs.

Dear Neil,Thank you for your review.We are very sorry to hear that your stay with us did not meet your expectations.Our hotel offer many categories and rooms are located from -1 level up to 4th floor.The specific category which you reserved is called Four Poster room and all our websites( Expedia too) have photos of all rooms available in this category including the room you stayed in.The room description also says that rooms are located below ground level and a min size, not advertised as large.The room which is advertised with view and has a Four Poster bed is called Pasha suite, the second biggest room, which is not the category you reserved.Leak which unfortunately happened when you checked in was unexpected and was already resolved.I am very sorry about our member of staff, but she was just very surprised, with all information provided, because our staff know which photos and descriptions are advertised specifically for categories which have rooms below ground level, since we know that lower ground floor rooms are very common in London, but not in other countries.The hotel main photo is the Pasha suite which doesn't mean that all rooms are exactly same, that is why guests have option to select from different categories and each of them have included all photos available in that specific category.Please accept our sincere apologies for all the inconvenience caused.

Very nice hotel located close to a tube station (Earls Court), offering good value for money, great service and a lovely free breakfast. What's not to like! Oh, and the room even had a lovely balcony with a patio, which was very enjoyable on a warm evening with the laptop and a bit of music. Perfect.
