Beachfront hotel with view of sunrisePosted Nov 27, 2013
We visited Samui drg the 3rd week of Nov and realised it was the wrong time due to the monsoon. For the first 2 days we experienced nonstop heavy rain with strong winds and we got first hand view of the violent sea staying at the beachfront pool villa. Fortunately the weather improved from Day 3 where we woke up to a beautiful sunrise and it was sunny and calm all day. Room was in good condition except for lousy pillows, fuzzing sound from the tv (but we fixed it) and wastefully huge bathroom. Hotel was good except these points 1) no free wi-fi in the room - unbelievable in this day & age 2)chargeable linen laundry bag - so stupid : we were not informed earlier and there were no explicit signs. The reception did a check upon our check out & asked about this then told us it was chargeable. They offered a plastic laundry bag which came out from the reception counter & i had to open my suitcase to transfer my soiled clothes into the plastic bag! They should 1) put up an explicit sign what items are chargeable (laundry bags were never chargeable at other hotels) 2) leave the plastic laundry bags in the room as option for the guests. Location is at the southend of chaweng beach but if you dont mind a bit of walking, its actually good to be away from the tourist hustle of chaweng. Just next to the hotel, there's a money changert, Tanya's cafe which serves great coffees, a drugstore, a Thai Thai massage and a family mart just a stone throw away so it's pretty convenient.

Awesome hotel with fantastic staff!Posted May 16, 2013
Pros: Our private beachfront pool villa was just divine. Great for a romantic get away!
Location: Location just outside the main part of Chaweng Beach is perfect for chilling out and 15min walk or 3 mins by cab ($3) to main section.
Fantastic hotel with very friendly, welcoming, helpful staff. Located just outside the main busy section of Chaweng beach the location was perfect for us as we could relax and chill or head into the busier section (3mins) if we wanted to let loose.... Our beachfront pool villa was divine and we loved chilling out in our own space overlooking the beautiful ocean. Highly recommend this hotel.

Great little hotel right on the beach. We were only here for two short nights for a little get away after spending a week working in Bangkok. It's a great location with great staff. The best part was the small massage area located right on the beach. The prices were great and so were the location and of course the massages. We had a regular sea view room which wasn't anything special but it was clean and comfortable. The villas looked really nice and next time I go back I'll likely pick one of those.

Mixed FeelingsPosted Feb 23, 2013 on Hotels.com
We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights in Feb 2013 at a private pool villa Pros of staying here : the rooms are neat and clean, the plunge pool is also well maintained, the staff is quick and fast the housekeeping only took 5-7 minutes to make up room, you have a beach access from the hotel very short walk of a minute only ,the common pool looked nice The complimentary fruit tray and chocolates are of good quality, the minibar is good as well, excellent breakfast choosing this hotel is a good decision as you are right on chaweng beach , very near to resturants,supermarkets,bike/car rentals, tour info centre ,on the whole a balance between good location and a nice property cons: considering that its a busy hotel i had to wait for an hour and was only allowed check in at 2:00 pm, booked thru hotels.com which stated free wi-fi but the receptionist told me that they had no such information and charged me for it,i expect such a luxury hotel to have free wi-fi like most other in thailand, The Jacuzzi in my room was not working, when i asked the hotel staff about it they said that sometimes it does not work ,also the housekeeping only makes up room once a day ,one does expect more than that if required, the hotel does not has a spa inhouse Advice: book the ocean view pool villa,a private pool plus immediate view and access to the beach will surely be great be sure to carry a printout of booking if it shows free wi-fi

Fabulous hotelPosted Feb 6, 2013
Pros: The staff, location and modern feel
Location: Fabulous location if you want things a little less hectic
We would definitely stay at this hotel again. It's in a great location at the quiet end of Chewang with direct access to the beach. The staff were amazing, nothing was too much trouble and they were very friendly. Breakfast was superb plenty to choose from and the view of the water from the outside tables was a beautiful way to start the day. I highly recommend a stay at this hotel.

Hotel was quite basic, on the beach which was nice, staff were very sweet and accomodating, weather was horrible my entire stay with strong winds, no sunshine and non stop rain so that may have impacted on my happiness also....

Outstanding resort! Service was good and the location is perfect as it is equidistant from Lamai and Chaweng central. The Ocean View Villa is a must for anyone looking to stay in Chaweng. It has a private pool with the beach and the sea just a hop over the ledge.

Geat hotel with all the mod-consPosted Nov 12, 2012 on Hotels.com
We stayed in an ocean pool villa and it was awesome. Large room, pool was a perfect size and we overlooked the ocean. It is at the quieter end of Chaweng but is still close enough to see all that Chaweng has to offer. Would definately stay here again
