Las instalaciones del hotel son fantásticas, tienen una vista impresionante. El problema fue la llegada, nadie me explicó que debía tomar primero un taxi hasta un puerto y luego un barca para llegar al otro lado de la isla. Luego al llegar al otro lado de la Isla me tocó caminar más de 15 minutos por un sendero rústico, con el miedo que la maleta se me rompiera, esta pesaba 18 kilos. Yo solicité la recogida en el aeropuerto pero recibí un coreo donde decía que era más fácil tomar un taxi desde el aeropuerto, claro nadie me explicó todo el proceso para poder llegar al hotel. Me sorprendió que en el desayuno no ofrecen zumos frescos de frutas, teniendo en cuenta que en Thailandia tienen una gran variedad de frutas. Los zumos que ofrecen son envasados industriales. La limpieza del baño más o menos. En mi opinión debería cambiar la posición de la cama con respecto al aire acondicionado . El aire me daba en toda la cara, para poder dormir me tocó colocar una camiseta en mi cara y si apagaba el aire no podía dormir del calor así que fue incomodo. Pedí el cambio de habitación pero todas son iguales. De resto precioso todo, el personal muy profesional, atentos, muy amables siempre disponibles.

El lugar es magnífico si lo que buscas es relajo y descanso. Sus instalaciones no son lujosas, pero son muy buenas y cumple con precio calidad. Su personal muy amable y atento. Sólo puedes comunicarte en inglés, así que a tomar en cuenta. El desayuno está bastante bien, cumple con variedad y calidad. Las habitaciones espaciosas, con agua embotellada gratis a diario y con buena ventilación. Con aire acondicionado a gusto y muy necesario porque el calor es terrible. La vista desde ellas es muy linda, incluso vimos animales en su hábitat a diario. Es un hotel que queda lejos de orilla de playa así que recomiendo contactar al hotel con anterioridad y solicitar que te retiren a tu llegada porque el camino es largo y muy caluroso para hacerlo a pie y con Todo hubiera sido perfecto, si no fuera porque al retirarnos nos cobraron productos del frigobar que nunca consumimos porque por regla en nuestros viajes no lo hacemos ya que siempre su costo es el doble de lo que puedes encontrar en una tienda. Estuvimos varios minutos tratando de explicar que seguramente fue un error del encargado, pero insistían en que era nuestro. Lamentable la verdad porque hasta ese minuto todo había sido maravilloso. Finalmente desistieron del cobro, pero nos fuimos con una sensación muy amarga. Cuidado entonces con el tema de los productos que están a disposición en la habitación. Fuera de eso todo lo demás supera ese momento desagradable. Recomendado

Muy bien. El destino muy bueno. No esta muy cerca de donde te dejan los barcos pero tampoco esta demasiado lejos. Hay q caminar. Es fácil de encontrar por los carteles. Lo mejor es la vista desde las habitaciones. Increíble.

Muy recomendado
El cuarto esta bien, tiene el espacio suficiente, 30m2 aprox con un balcon. El baño no tiene la ducha separada del resto de los elementos, algo tipico en esos lugares, sin embargo es comodo. El hotel si bien esta en una subida, a 5-10 minutos caminando, la subida agita un poco, tiene una vista maravillosa a la playa y las montañas, acaban de construir una piscina muy linda con una vista increible.

Beautiful hotel with great views
We absolutely loved the hotel! Because it’s up a bit the views were incredible but it was also so quick to walk into town and to the beaches. I highly recommend staying here and absolutely suggest using their coordinated transportation if flying into Krabi.

Beautiful hotel for a great price ! Stay here !
We loved this hotel. Surrounded by the karst mountains & jungle with a view of the ocean, what more could you ask for. The cabins, pool, and free breakfast was great. We got to watch monkeys while eating. The service at the pool bar was really good. The loungers were usually full & the ones on the deck in front of the bar need to be replaced. The shuttle back from the beach was hit & miss but it’s not a long walk. I loved Railay and would definitely stay at this hotel again. Can’t beat the price !

If you want to stay in the area with the best view of the ocean and a quiet people free area- this is it! The pool alone with its happy hour of drinks 100 bth was incredible! The location is perfectly in-between both beaches with the view of the East beach. It was so easy to walk everywhere in the area.The rock mountain next to the resort is stunning, while providing entertainment as people climb it. The service was wonderfully, we were greeted with a welcome drink and offered complimentary ride to our room. The morning breakfast was always delicious and the staff so kind. I recommend this for any solo, couple, or family. We LOVED our time! My partner and I also went end of October which was perfect weather with not as many tourist crowding the areas. Well done!

Looks can be deceiving
At a first glance, I was really excited about this place, but negatives kept adding up. We had a very loud baby right next to us that cried all night (not the hotel's fault), but they didn't have ear plugs. They instead offered to move us rooms when one became available (2 nights later), so 2 nights not sleeping at the hotel we paid for out of 4 nights. Our new room had a very unfortunate balcony and room layout. If people wanted to stand and look at the jungle, they were also looking into our balcony/room. During our morning coffee on the balcony, we had a couple stop on the public walkway and comment about things in our room. Complete lack of privacy for anyone unfortunate enough to get that room. Next, we went hiking to the Lagoon and I got dirt on my legs and hands, so after I showered, there was a slight bit of residue on the hand towel as well as a smudge of mascara, of which I was charged for- so don't plan on using the towels for anything other than a pre-cleaned body - or bring your own. The private transfer we paid for (1700 baht) was significantly more expensive than getting it anywhere else, but got us to the airport in the end. We were with another couple but they refused to let us share the transfer. The whole way to the airport we followed our friends, wasiting fuel with multiple boats, tuk tuks and transfer vans that were completely unnecessary. The tuk tuk from the boat to the transfer van also couldn't fit our luggage and us so we had to walk to the vans.

Overall disappointing. We sent two emails confirming with the resort that we had a direct pick up booked from Krabi Airport to the resort, organised by them, but when our flight landed we had nobody waiting to pick us up. After calling the resort multiple times from the airport and being stressed and not understanding anything the person on the phone was saying, they finally realised they made a mistake and somebody came to pick us up an hour later. We saw a lady at the airport pay the taxi driver taking us to the pier 300 baht but we were charged 800 baht for this, and also over 700 baht for the long tail boat transfer which is actually normally only 150 baht when you book yourself!! When we finally got to the resort, we asked for a discount considering they forgot to organise a taxi to pick us up and made us wait for an hour, but we still had to pay 1700 baht total!! Such a scam and waste of money. The resort, pool bar and daily breakfast were nice and the staff at the breakfast were lovely. However, our bathroom in our room was pretty disgusting for the price we paid. The shower was yuck and the toilet seat was broken. We also found a cockroach in our room one night. We didn’t get coffee or water refilled like it’s supposed to by room service after the second night. Also, it’s a good 20 minute uphill walk from the beach and restaurant area and the shuttle service isn’t reliable. I would definitely not come here again and would not recommend anyone else to either.

Tolle Unterkunft etwas in die Jahre gekommen
Tolle Unterkunft die etwas in die Jahre gekommen ist. Das Bad hätte etwas sauberer sein können. Tomle Aussicht mit noch tollerem Pool mit Blick auf den Beach. Liegt am Berg daher etwas steiler Anstieg mit Gepäck. Es ein kostenloser Tuktuk Service angeboten. Frühstück war OK. Insgesamt hatten wir einen tollen Aufenthalt von 3 Nächten

The location was lovely and we enjoyed being close to, but not surrounded by, the restaurants and shops. The pool area is very nice and the pool view is divine. We booked the transport service from the airport, and we were so glad we did! Nice cab ride, followed by long tail boat, followed by tractor pulling a trailer where we and our luggage arrived to the resort. It was an awesome introduction to the area! The only negatives were the pillows were not very comfortable, and the pool towels were in short supply. That didn’t really cause hardship, more of an inconvenience. Oh, one more thing, the breakfast was great too! There were lots of choices in the buffet and you could order eggs or pancakes as well. My favorites were the banana pancakes and the curry option in the buffet. It is an incredible value.

Hyggeligt afsides resort
Resortet er super hyggeligt, og har en dejlig beliggenhed (hvis man kan lide noget lidt afsides). Der er super sødt personale som er meget behjælpelige. Der går en gratis tuktuk fra hotellet og til byen/stranden. En vigtig ting at vide er at railay beach er afsides fra Krabi. Derfor skal man med en long tail boat til Railay for derefter at gå til hotellet, som er ca. 15 min. gå gang. Fra hotellet er der ca. 10 mins gå gang til den lille promenade og i alt 15 min til stranden. Det er et super dejligt sted. Selve hotellet er ret gammel og det kan mærkes på ens værelse. En anden øv ting er at airconditionen hænger over sengen så der er rigtig koldt når man skal sove hvis man vil have den tændt. Der er god udsigt fra hotellets morgenmads restaurant og fra poolen - morgenmaden var fin. I alt et super hyggeligt sted og ligger super godt ift. mange af de andre resorter. Hele stedet er bare lidt gammelt og turistet men lokal byen er hyggelig, med god mad og en flot strand.

Fantastic hilltop views. Nice pool. Not the most exciting breakfast but have some choices between western and Thai. Golf cart transport until 9 pm but arrange well ahead of time for arrival. Nice clientele of fellow travelers. Ask for room 2304 with views of the ocean and mountains.

A little touch of paradise
This is the second time we’ve stayed at the Phutawan hotel in Railay. The location is great, service is always great but we were sad to see they had made some revisions on areas such as breakfast where there were not so many options from the buffet. However we did notice you could order certain things for breakfast off another menu which was nice and overall it is still great. We recommend the French toast and banana pancakes those were delicious. In terms of room the first time we stayed on the main hotel with a balcony and sea view which was amazing pre pandemic, this time we stayed in a deluxe cottage. The cottage was cute, clean comfortable and had its own balcony, the first cottage we were taken to needed a little TLC (such as bathroom window lock broken, front door crack stuffed with tissue I presume this was to stop mosquitos from another guest) so we politely asked to see if we could move to another. The staff were very understanding and took us to look at a few other deluxe cottages which were well maintained and beautiful so we had a wonderful stay with lots of room. Highly rate this hotel as it had everything you need but sad to see they had removed the raised platforms with bean bags which use to be on the viewing platform - we missed those as it added a romantic and bohemian element we hope they bring them back. They also have a free shuttle service down to the walking street too which is great and super useful when you have to bring back packs or suitcases.

Beautiful place with amazing views.
Beautiful place with amazing views. The transfer from the boat to the hotel is by tractor and trailer and collects you in the sea! Pool area lovely, staff friendly. You’d struggle to swing a cat in the bathroom and breakfast options a bit limited, but would recommend overall.

Little paradise
The most stunning bed room and pool area . Breath taking views onto raily built onto the rock. Stuff so kind and friendly , helped us with our extremely heavy luggage and even picked us up at the pier. Monkeys living on the pathway down to main area are so cute to

Séjour très agréable. Chambre spacieuse et pleine de charme. Petit déjeuner copieux. Cadre idéal avec une très belle vue de la piscine. Dommage que cette dernière soit à l’ombre l’après midi ….
