Great location in KL. There are many nice restaurants within walking distance that are clean, modern and varied. The rooms modern, spacious and comfortable. Loved the rooftop pool and bar. We actually walked to the Petronas towers from the hotel which was fun. Overall, great place to stay in KL. Highly recommended.

Excellent 3 night stay at Stripes
Our first time at Stripes having stayed at a range of other hotels in KL and would highly recommend. Great service, spacious rooms (with the upgrade to have a tub) and good breakfast. Service was excellent and speedy. Also location was great, lots of good eateries nearby and walking distance to Pavilion etc. enjoyed the rooftop pool and gym, The only things to improve would be to sweep the water by the poolside steps as it got quite slippery throughout the day or have more grip mats for the area Breakfast - would be useful to move the egg station as the queue blocks access to the other buffet items around it But these are minor feedback points the place is fab and good value for money!

We've stayed here before and coming back the hotel was just as good as we remembered. The room was great and the bed very comfortable. Definitely recommend paying for breakfast. The pool area is wonderful with great views of the KL tower. Especially at night from the bar

Really nice hotel. Rooms and breakfast were great. Only a few loungers by the pool. Room was quiet. Good service but it is common in KL for them to only speak to the man. So, everything was “how was your meal, sir?”, “have a good day, sir”, etc. They seemed surprised that I had booked the room and we were using my credit card for the deposit.

Hotel with a rooftop bar with views
Relatively new hotel with a rooftop pool and bar with spectacular views. Restaurant so-so but lots of eating places around the hotel and good cafe. Close to public transport.

Friendly and efficient staff, had us checked in and in our room in no time. Hotel was clean and modern with all required amenities. Breakfast was great with plenty of freshly prepared hot and cold options. The hotel itself is a five minute walk from a couple of metro lines, very handy for setting the rest of KL. having said that, there is plenty of shops and restaurants around the nearby chow kit and jalan kamunting areas if you don't fancy going too far. Highly recommended!

Lovely hotel conveniently located
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Stripes, conveniently located for the main tourist sites as well as nearby monorail links to the main station. There's an excellent coffee shop/breakfast venue directly opposite if you don't fancy the more elaborate hotel one on offer. The hotel has all the facilities of a modern international hotel with very high standards of service and comfort. We particularly enjoyed the fabulous rooftop pool with a wonderful view of the city. An issue for us is that we did find it rather noisy despite being on the 12th floor. We were told this was probably due to a nearby nightclub although it seemed more of a mechanical than musical noise. We were also very surprised to be asked to pay a deposit - still don't know why given credit cards generally suffice for that purpose. We are told it will take 7 to 14 working days to be credited back to us too - seems very odd ...
