Good stay....for the price
La Ferte Bernard is a small quiet town. For the price, it was a good stay. The on-prem restaurant came in handy

Lovely stopover
We wanted a simple overnight staging-post for our return from France. This hotel fitted the bill perfectly. Easy to get to, good facilities, excellent staff and a quick get-away on Sunday morning. Many thanks!

The total number of staff was 2. The evening meal was awful. We have been staying in C a panicle hotels for 30 years But this was the worst ever.

I'm familiar with this place, so no surprises. I had specified ground floor room if possible (I'm old and infirm), but was given 1st floor room key on arrival. I asked for ground floor and the change was made - but it was annoying, when the booking form offers to meet preferences. Otherwise, all OK.

Okay Stay
We stayed here mid point on a road trip west. The hotel is very basic. Two single beds with firm mattresses. One extra pillow. Pump soap dispenser for sink and shower. Two towels. Located in an industrial area. Quiet (except for a noisy guest at 4am). Friendly staff. Our real disappointment was the restaurant - dinner was undercooked fish - breakfast was okay, but not the selection we expected for the price and after reading previous reviews. Overall it was okay. Price was good. But think we'll try somewhere else for the trip home.

Interesting place to visit
Return visit to Louth's twin town. Took the interesting "train" tour around the historic town and leisure area. Loved the umbrella walk.

Ideal Hotel for Le Mans Moto GP
Six of us stayed here for French MotoGP at Le Mans for three nights. Located in a commercial area which meant it was quiet from early evening and through the night. The hotel staff were all very helpful and made us feel welcome. Rooms were very clean and beds were very comfortable and there was a good shower in the bathroom. The buffet breakfast had a good selection and there was always plenty of everything to eat. Overall, great value for money compared to hotels in Le Mans and would have no hesitation in using again if we ever return for the racing.

Exactly what you'd expect from a Campanile
We chose to stay at this hotel because we knew we would not be spending much time there and didn't need any special facilities. We arrived just as lunch was finishing but the man on reception (who turned out to be the chef too) was very helpful and made us a delicious salad even though the dining room was theoretically closed. We ate this outside in the sun, facing the plain garden area. The service was very attentive. The lady on reception went out of her way to help us with taxis and travel arrangements to the wedding we were attending. The staff could not be faulted. The room was clean, basic and exactly as I would expect from a Campanile.

Exactly what you'd expect to get from a Campanile
Most Campaniles are similar: clean, comfortable and cheap with good food - though the food isn't always that cheap. This one, like many, is on the edge of town in an industrial area. Fine for a one night stop when you arrive late and leave early.

My wife and I found the hotel reception staff very freindly and helfull on our arrival. The room was clean and comfatable.we had a good nigjts sleep and felt the car park was secure.plus the hotel is situated a short walk from the cetre of a very charming town.

Difficult to find.
Dispite taking a google map of the area this hotel was very difficult to find. It was also quite rundown outside, although the room was clean and comfortable. The service left a lot to be desired as the waitress really didn't want to be working and was not at all attentive.

Good overnight stay
This is a typical Campanille Hotel. Our welcome was very warm - the manager spoke excellent English. Because the hotel is on a Commercial Estate our room overlooked a builders yard which could have been a bit noisy if we had wanted to sleep late! We didn't eat in the hotel so can't comment on the food but it is a fairly short walk into the town which is very pretty and offers plenty of restaurants. There is a also a lake very close to the hotel which is a lovely spot for an evening stroll. The free wifi at the hotel was a bonus

Aucun entretien des exterieurs. L'herbe n a pas ete tondue. Le personnel est adorable, mais les batiments meritent un gros remaniement. A 23h00, changement de chambre suite a un bruit persistant... Bref, je fais 90 nuits par an en hotel....il est le 90eme. Bravo aux employes de faire vivre l installation...

Monsieur Picard,L'herbe n'est pas coupée et s'est voulu.En effet, vous n'en n'avez sûrement pas entendu parler, mais nous tendons vers une sobriété énergétique importante qui suppose que l'on change nos habitudes de consommations et ne pas couper systématiquement l'herbe en fait partie.Vous avez oublié de mentionner que vous étiez installé dans une chambre rénovée l'année dernière, et que lorsque vous avez "entendu" ce bruit persistant, nous vous avons changé de chambre, qu'aurions nous pu faire de plus ?Quand aux employés qui font vivre l'installation ? encore un message subliminal que seules les personnes comme vous peuvent comprendre.La Réception,
