The property was all it was advertised to be. The layout was perfect for our group. We were able to watch football, play games and dine with room to spare. Perfect for large groups. Having the two refrigerators, microwaves, dishwashers and ovens was great. Owners were quick to respond when wifi went out. Definitely recommend.

Perfect house for a large group!
This is the second week of staying in one of the two homes owned by the same people and both times, the homes were perfect! Situated right on Norris Lake, the sprawling home was clean with a more-than fully stocked kitchen and ample room to move around, even with such a large group of 30 adults. The linens smelled amazing. The access to the private dock provided hours of entertainment and the many bathrooms linked to the bedrooms made this young adult retreat a blast! The listing is very clear on what you should bring and that made prepping for our weekend event much easier. This will become a regular spot for our group! They loved the place!!

This property is perfect for a large group. There’s plenty of space inside and outside for activities. My favorite part is that the house sits back in a cove so there’s not a lot of boat traffic coming and going. Overall great experience.

Beautiful Property with amazing cove
We had our annual family vacation at this property with almost 30 people total. The house never felt small and had plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for everyone. The cove is great for swimming off of the dock since there is not through traffic. It was a beautiful house and perfect for a large family vacation.

There are several positive things to say about this property, especially for families. Having nine bedrooms, each with its own private bathroom, is a plus for both diverse groups and families. Equally appealing are the four bedrooms with both bunkbeds and regular king/queen beds. Most properties with this many bedrooms have one bunkbed-dedicated bedroom. We had six children under eight, so a single bunkbed room would not have worked. There were a couple of facility-related issues during the week that were handled quickly by property management. The large decks were also a big plus. The site is also further up the lake finger; this diminished boat travel and crowds from other houses. As the pictures show, there are many steps down to the lake and dock, which can be difficult for smaller children. However, this is true of all the houses along this finger. The benches for the dining tables can get a little uncomfortable for longer sitting, such as during board games. The stove tops heat quickly, but also seem to take a while to cool. This is one of the newer houses on this finger, and its size is attractive to larger groups. It could potentially benefit from some refreshing in the not-too-distant future. This house meets most, if not all, of our family's needs for a reunion. The group already agreed that if we return to Norris Lake in two years that we would try to book this house again.

Lake living at its finest
Perfect spot for extended family. We used all the double appliances in the huge kitchen which made storing and cooking for a large group easy and convenient. Lots of room in the big open spaces for us all to be together. We rented a boat for the week and enjoyed cruising the lake, sat around the fire pit in the evenings, played corn hole, played pool, soaked in the hot tub and talked about when we were coming back. It was a fabulous week.

Norris family get-together
It was plenty large for our group of 28 and the kitchen was more than ample room to cook. I liked that there was more than enough cups, plates, pots and pans and cooking utensils. We found the steep steps to dock a little daunting, esp. for my husband and I. There is one thing that I want to bring to your attention is that it would be beneficial to have hand bars equipped in the bathrooms with tubs. Several mentioned that they slipped and a bar would be good to hold on to. A wonderful time was had by all!! Boating, swimming, grilling and just relaxing and enjoying the fire pit.

FIVE stars all around
It's always hard to find enough space for our family of 29 to get together, but this rental did the trick! The kitchen was the best part, by far. 2 refrigerators, 2 ovens, 2 tables - amazing! If you ask the kids, the hot tub was the best feature of the house. King sized beds for all the adults was an added bonus. There wasn't a yard for littles to play in, but the large decks on each floor were great for that. Everything was as described in the listing, but something they left out: This property has the BEST parking in the area. We got 5 large vehicles right in front of the house. Even though there were other houses around, we still felt like we had our privacy in this space and any time we had a minor issue, the property managers were nearby and available to help us. FIVE stars all around.

Wonderful Property For Large Families!
We enjoyed our holiday vacation at Lake Daze! The cabin had lots of room for our extended family. The only disappointment was that the pictures if the water were taken in another season and all we had was a muddy stream outside. It rained and was chilly, so it suited us fine to enjoy the cabin.

This property was perfect for our family to celebrate our daughter and son-n-law getting married and Thanksgiving! The house had plenty of space and bathrooms as well as an awesome game room and fire pit! We were a little surprised when we arrived that there was little to no water in the lake. We knew the water level would be much lower but we didn't expect that and there is a house being built next door, which was fine but we just wish this would have been mentioned in the check in process as there were several big trucks in and out. Overall, the house is perfect and they cannot control the construction or the water levels. Just mentioning so future guest know what to expect. Absolutely do not let that sway you from renting this property. It was a great place to make new family memories that we will forever cherish!

Eight of our 13 siblings got the opportunity to hang out with our 89 years young mother. Although the house was great, we could have used a handicap accessible bathroom for mother. Even with that this was a great facility to accommodate our family. We greatly appreciate you allowing us to stay there.

This is our 4th trip with our group of families and was the best house we’ve stayed in so far! Great location and plenty of space for our group! 12 adults and 14 children. We all had our own space when needed and the kids had plenty of fun gaming options. Can’t wait to come back!

The house was great. We only had 16 people so everyone had their own bedroom and bathroom which was nice! The kitchen was fully equipped with everything you need! The multiple fridges stoves and dishwashers are great for this many people. The only downfall is there should be more tables/seating for the hot tub area. The air hockey table needs some tlc. The other games were a great addition. Overall we would def. Stay here again!

Great Family Vacation Home
My family of 12 adults and 16 grandchildren enjoyed our stay at Lake Daze. The house was a perfect size for us. The kitchen was very well equipped with everything we needed. The large tables accommodated everyone. The bedrooms were a little small especially the ones with the bunk beds which made it a little crowded. But the beds were very comfortable. Every bedroom had a bathroom which was very convenient . Each bedroom had a TV but not all of them had cable service. The ones without cable only had DVD players. We didn't watch TV much so it really wasn't an issue. The lower level was well used by the kids, especially the hot tub. The laundry room had one washer and two dryers, which really helped with lots of wet towels. As older persons, the steps going to the lake were a challenge for us and the other adults. There are 76 of them. The dock was great, enough room for us to tie up two boats. The kids loved the slide and jumping off the upper deck. We put a canopy up on the upper deck to provide shade which made it very pleasant to sit and relax. Being at the end of the cove was nice because we didn't have to worry about boats coming and going by our house. It is about a 15 minute boat ride through the no wake zone to get to the main part of the lake. which is close to the jumping bridge. The trailer parking lot is very rough and not a lot of room for trailers. The surface is gravel and dirt and is not well- maintained. The boat ramp is a challenge but was not far from the property. Ski Lane is a narrow one-lane gravel road with a challenging entry from the main road. Overall, we loved our stay at Lake Daze.

Large cousins vacation
21 people with youngest 9. We had a great time on the lake. The house is equipped with everything. We did not know there is construction going on right next door which was an eye sore but fortunately for us they were only there one day working. Also there are trash cans right outside the front door which became smelly if anyone went in and out the front door which wasn’t often but still unsightly. A few young girls didn’t like that all bathroom doors/bedroom doors didn’t latch shut. Other than those small things we had an amazing week and everyone wants to go back next year!

We had 9 families come from Georgia & Iowa to meet for a week Christmas/New Years vacation. The home was perfect for our family. Plenty of kitchen space, bedrooms with bathrooms in each room along with additional half bathrooms on each level. The kids & adults loved the bottom floor with the pool table, air hockey table, etc. We would definitely rent this home again & highly recommend it. The managers were super nice during booking and checkin process.

Four families stayed at Lake Daze and thoroughly enjoyed our time. It was just as described. The kitchen was great for the large crew and multiple daily meals. The kids hung out on the lower level using the game room on the rainy day, while the adults were able to enjoy the top floor. Just like most of the houses in the cove, there are quite a few steps to reach the dock. We knew this and it wasn’t an issue, but consider this if you have anyone with potential issues of mobility. The house is at the end of the drive and this was great. Since the dock was the last in the cove we didn’t have issues with boat traffic as we jumped and slid off the dock. Communication with property managers was great. We are planning to return to Lake Daze in 2022.

Perfect for family of all ages! Teens were in lower level, families with younger kids in mid level and older gens were on top level. Stairs to lake were considered a perfect workout for all. The house was a great size for our family of 23. Kitchen was well stocked with everything. The only negatives were he amount of steps down to the dock and the road back to the house was very narrow and dirt. Next time we will look for something with a lot less steps. We had three family members over the age of 65.

Gayla, I am glad you enjoyed the home and amenities we offer for a lakefront home in the mountains. The stairs do come with the territory of a lakefront home built into the side of a mountain. We are very transparent about the steps in our photos and hate to see the 3 star as a result of the stairs to our private dock. I appreciate the compliment on the home, as we take great pride in the cleanliness, amenities, and overall experience we offer.

Great place, lots of room and activities.
Overall we had a great experience. We had 22 people and the house fit that amount more than comfortably. There were a lot of games and nice outdoor areas. The grill was also a nice feature, as it was a huge grill. The check in and out process was also very smooth. The owner of the property provided us with a list of items we needed to bring, which was really helpful as well. Overall great experience.

This property was brand new and has everything you could ask for! We went during the fall so the pier was already removed. It was on a cove so it was nice and peaceful. The showers and kitchen were top notch and we went in the hot tub every evening. The road/driveway is gravel and the neighborhood is really hilly as an FYI. The only thing I wish the owner would have disclosed in the listing or in our conversations before booking that was that trailers are not allowed/recommended to be parked in front of the house (I found that out when I had to sign an agreement after booking through VRBO). We got permission to park in front of the house though which was appreciated. We didn't want to leave our trailer with UTV in a public lot overnight. If you have a smaller trailer that isn't wide, it isn't a huge deal to turn around in the driveway or drive down the narrow road to the house. There is a separate lot for trailers at the front of the neighborhood as well.

Great place!
This house was perfect for a large group! Everyone was able to have their own room and we loved the decor. We also loved being the last house on the lane. It gave you a little extra privacy especially down at the dock! Our only complaint is the WiFi wasn’t working very well. It seemed to work the best on the second level where the router was but if you were on the first or third level it didn’t work. Not a huge deal but just something to be aware of.

Great house but need some improvements
We, a group of 26 people, enjoyed staying in this house and had a lot of fun. The house is very big and comfortable for a large group of people. But it has some issues too. I am going to list all pros and cons we experienced. Pros: * Spacious! Living and common areas are very big and comfortable. * Kitchen is amazing! A lot of dishes and everything you need for cooking. Having two of each appliance helped us a lot during cooking/cleaning. * A lot of bathrooms which was very convenient. * Great fire pit area! We enjoyed making smores and the kids had a lot of fun. * The view from 3 porches was beautiful! * Big dining area where we can seat all together. * Good selection of games. * Big and clean hot tub. * Owners are very responsive! Cons: * Beds/mattresses are very uncomfortable. We stayed for 3 nights and could not sleep well. Came back home very exhausted and tired. We ended up using couches in the common areas to sleep. For the price we paid, we were hoping to have a good rest. * In the check-in instructions, a lot of staff were listed to bring with ourselves such as toilet paper, soap, dishwasher detergent, trash bags, etc. We did not mind bringing all of these but places I stayed before have never requested those. * Even though there was a great selection of games, the space for them was limited. It was uncomfortable to play neither billiard nor table tennis. * We were notified about the dock's removal 1 day before our check-in. The explanations seemed reasonable; however, all other houses (except ours and the next two) still have their docks, and renters had a lot of fun using them and sliding from them into the river. * Neighbouring houses are very close to each other, so you cannot expect privacy.

The lake dropped significantly which caused the dock to drop away from the steps. When we contacted the owners they said that happens. It made it unsafe to go from the steps to the dock as there was a drop of at least 4 feet. When we contacted the owners after our stay we heard nothing back.

As mentioned in our description for our listing, after mid-September Mother Nature and TVA are in control as it is a dam controlled lake and we are in a cove, therefore we are unable to guarantee access to the dock. We have no way to safely adjust the dock when the water drops 1-2 feet every other day. Instead we advertise that the dock is not guaranteed after mid-September and before early May. I’m taken back by a one star review for mother nature’s burden, when we provided a brand-new, beautiful, clean home with 9 beds, 12 baths, 3 lounging areas, game room, fire pit, fireplace and 12 person hot tub to enjoy during the fall foliage. We did respond to your complaint regarding the dock and didn’t provide a refund as we clearly stated in our listing the dock is not guaranteed during the fall, and the home is already discounted for the fall season.

Great house!
Although we were given instructions about the house, I missed the fact that the house had a landline. It was in the laundry room, I found that out on the last day of our stay, as we were leaving. I suggested to the property manager when she called upon our exit, that maybe a physical stop of the property would have been more helpful than a phone call to the landline I did not know exists. For the amount of money spent to stay there a 5 minute visit does not seem unreasonable. The only true issue was the level of the water causing the stairs to be a huge gap to the ramp. As the property manager said, she left a message on the landline if we needed anything. We had used the hot tub steps to bridge that gap, and made a handrail the rest of the way. I get the house was new and there were a few unfinished things, but my 80 year old mom could not step down 3 feet, so we improvised. I want this review to reflect that this was a great house, and as long as you don't mind being close to your neighbors, we truly enjoyed it, even if we were admonished for improvising the gap between the stairs and the ramp at the dock, and not getting the voicemail on the landline. Service oriented businesses go the extra mile to be sure you have what you need.

Excellent house for staying with a large group! Adults, teens, and kids enjoyed being at the end of the cove and playing off the dock. The house was perfect with many refrigerators, two dishwashers, two stoves, and two microwaves. Outdoor grill/griddle was helpful, too! The teen girls/HGTV fanatics loved the up to date styling. Very awesome house!

The property and home were beautiful and well equipped. We rented a deck boat which was dropped off and picked up making it effortless! The big ice machine was a must and the 22 bathrooms kept the whole family happy. We had 5 families together and there was seating for meals and evening card games for all of us. A great week at Lake Daze
20 of us spent a week here recently. It is a beautiful home and completely stocked for all your needs. We are a group who likes to cook and eat together and the kitchen had just about everything you could want. Lots of silverware, glasses, cups, plates and all the pots, pans, bowls and small appliances that you need. The home is brand new and was in great shape. There is lots of comfortable seating inside the home and on the 3 decks. We spent time in the hot tub and on the main level deck watching the boats and everyone in the cove play. The teens enjoyed the shuffleboard, air hockey and pool table as well. We had plenty of sleeping options and were able to spread out through the house keeping it quiet for all of us. The dock and sun deck were great, too. Brand new and comfortable for everyone. We used the fire pit and had a great time laughing and making smores. Our interaction with the property manager, Britney, was excellent. She was responsive throughout the entire process and available for any questions. Overall, it was a great week of time away for all of us. We would highly recommend the property and hope to come back again.
