unusual layout

Posted Oct 14, 2014
Pros: The main lodge was nice and the view of the lake was quite beautiful. It was easy to find though confusing to find your room. Wifi was undependable.
Cons: It was difficult to turn left out of the parking lot from the rooms. All of the amenities are across the street from the rooms.
Location: Beautiful lake and very nice fall foliage.
The view of the lake from the main lodge is very beautiful. It was quite odd in that the main lodge to check in is across the street from the rooms. Meals and facilities are in the main lodge. There are no guest rooms in the main lodge. The rooms were acceptably clean but the beds were not very comfortable. The walls and floor between levels was quite thin. I could clearly hear people in other rooms and the people in the room above anytime they moved around. Pipes were also quite loud when guests in the room above us used their shower.

Great hotel right on Lake Winnepausauke!

Posted Oct 3, 2014
Pros: Directly on the lake, beautiful view of the lake and mountains, convenient location, easy to find.
Cons: Communication- the hotel website doesn't have much info on what is available to rent when and what is open when.
Location: Location was great, still right near civilization but while at the hotel, you feel like you're secluded and miles from the busy town. Near Outlets
I went away for just one night for a "mental health day" by myself. The location is easy to find, right on the lake with a good size beach, beautiful gazebo for weddings, and simply breath taking views! The spa located in the hotel was amazing as well and priced reasonably! I was extremely satisfied with the spa service. The hot tub/sauna/indoor pool were great too (only negative statement was that the following morning the hot tub was cold later to find out they were draining it to clean it, was not entirely happy about that but nothing I could do). The underground tunnel (more like hallway) is fantastic and connects to the main building, very convenient, and you could never tell you were underground, it was very nice. The only negative is I wish they would have posted on their website etc that they only do kayak/boat rentals until labor day (I was hoping to kayak on the lake and see the lovely fall colors). The beachside bar is also only seasonal as a heads up, so you may need to go elsewhere for dining if visiting offseason, but there are MANY options available within 5-20mins. The Tilton outlets are also only 20 mins, along with 93. Overall this was a gorgeous hotel and not many negatives that I could say about it. I actually think that once I find Mr. Right that this place will be in the running as one of the places I want to get married, it was simply perfect for a small-medium beach/lake/hotel wedding-has all the amenities one would need for a wedding!

Hotel was beautiful but disappointed with my room.

Posted Sep 26, 2014
Pros: The lake view, beach, outside lounge, the pool and gym.
Cons: The smell in our room and the game room should have been open.
Location: Plenty of stores, restaurants and activities are very close.
The hotel was beautiful with a great lakefront view and the amenities were wonderful. The disappointment came when I opened the door to my room and was instantly hit with a pungent aroma of what smelled like a cat's litter box. The carpet and upholstered chairs smelled like cat urine although the bed and linens were clean. I called the front desk but they were unable to move us due to the large amount of people staying for the weekend for Nascar. I opened the slider and let the room air out but it was still upsetting that the smell was there in the first place. Also there was a mix up with my son's breakfast charges and we were charged over the amount printed on our receipt. They will be refunding me the difference in a few days. Overall I think if our room didn't smell it would have been a perfect weekend at a nice facility.

Update needed!

Posted Jul 27, 2014
Pros: The breakfast, the indoor pool, the lobby. The beach.
Cons: Remove stains from the rugs. Clean the drains of the tubs.Make repairs: the top of the toilet tank was cracked and a corner was broken off.
Location: Beautiful spot on the lake! Meadowbrook Pavilion (we were there for a concert)
We were across the street from the main building & lobby, in a dated building. The rugs were stained in the hall and the room. The walls of the room were thin and the noise level from other guests was disturbing. The outdoor pool next to the building was dirty and we had to request it be cleaned. The continental breakfast was terrific. The staff working the breakfast was friendly and accommodating. Wish we had stayed in a unit on the lake side, closer to the beach. It was fun ordering lunch on the beach.

Went for a short family vacation.

Posted Jul 27, 2014
Pros: Rooms were clean and comfortable. You had a choice between the continental breakfast or for a few dollars extra a hot breakfast. Staff was friendly.
Location: Nearby outlet malls, mini-putt, arcades.
Very nice location on Lake Winnipesaukee. Plenty of activities to do near by. Enjoyed being on the beach and using the services of the gazebo beach bar and restaurant.

Not fancy, clean and enjoyable.

The staff was fabulous. The rooms were normal and clean nothing spectacular but reasonable for price. The lake front view was amazing. We had a great time and the price was fair. The pool and hot tub were wonderful and clean.

Very Nice Resort on the Lake

Posted May 30, 2014
Pros: Everything!
Cons: Happy with everything.
Location: The resort was on the lake. It was close to many stores and restaurants. There is plenty to do there, especially in the summer.
We spent one night. Hotel staff very accomodating. Our room was ready so we were allowed in early. Very clean and comfortable. Nice continental breakfast. Beautiful view. Will definitely stay here again.
