The proprietors are warm and friendly, the rooms are super clean ; the well-kept grounds feature a grill and picnic tables for your dining pleasure. Short drive, and within walking distance to the lake/ Fort William Henry recreation museum. All in all, a GREAT VALUE FOR THE MONEY!!!

Last minute weekend getaway.
Moray is an older, smaller hotel but was a nice option for an impromptu weekend trip for me and the wife. Pleasant staff, very helpful and quick during check in. Small but clean and acceptable bathroom. And price was fair.

Out dated , but very clean friendly owner . Super nice person . Place could use renovations. New shower curtains. Nice place to stop for an easy place to stay , sleep . Place has no pool . But Expedia’s says it does . Not owner’s fault. Next door to Stewart convienance shop for food and snacks . Walgreens close by . Short walk to downtown. Would stay here again.

Expedia advertises that this motel has a pool, when in fact, it does not. This is a decent basic motel for a place to sleep. If looking for a place with amenities or a place to relax after a day of walking around the village, this place is lacking.

Very clean. Very basic but very comfortable. Showers are small so a larger person may have difficulty moving around in them. Everything was just neat and tidy and extremely comfortable and easy to get to everywhere is from there. Just a basic motel room.

Not the best but not the worst
Not exactly the coziest of places to stay during Memorial Day weekend, but didn’t expect much for 110 a night. Could hear a chipmunk fart through the walls if your TV wasn’t on and unfortunately room 2s TV would cut in and out all night sometimes for and hour or two at a time which left you to hear any commotion going on only other gripe was size of the shower (extremely small). But the positives are extremely friendly staff, close proximity to a lot of activities in town/the beach so walking to your destination is always an option, and right next to a store if you need supplies before going to the beach it’s just a walk across the lawn.

Very good stay. Comfortable bed, microwave and fridge. Quiet and cute. Owners nice. A lot of updates on the cabin that are not pictured. More of a three season cabin/cottage. Heat was maintained by space heater. Would stay again.

Two slats of window replaced with plywood, bed NOT stabilized, went to open side window and bottom of frame had water, mold & mildew. Shower handle detached! NO coffee pot! Should be refunded!! Will NOT stay there again!

The bed was comfortable, the room had a microwave and fridge (which was useful for leftovers), & the a/c provided plenty of cool air. There was no cable despite a cable box and a guide that showed all the channels that were unavailable (there were only like 5 local channels available, so I ended up having to watch stuff on my laptop instead). Overall, the room served its function satisfactorily (except for the tv situation).

Convenient and clean
Staff was friendly and accommodating. Room was clean. Bathroom needs exhaust fan and outlet in bathroom is dangerous (no wall plate and near shower/water. Closet had no light.

My weekend in Lake George
The room was nice but mattresses could have been softer. Extremely nice owners, allowed us to check in early. We had a fire out back. Nice big lawn.

Ok for the price
An old fashioned motel. Got a good deal on two adjoining rooms sharing one bathroom. One room was kinda normal sized and the other was TINY!!! Barely room to walk around a double bed. No dresser no table a very small night stand. No place to leave anything in the bathroom either. Has to literally live out of my suitcase. Everything was clean. Could tell the bathroom had had a makeover. For the money we couldn’t complain.

Both rooms has separate tvs , air conditioners and heat so that parents and children can enjoy their own shows. This is one of the worst hotel/motel experiences we’ve ever had. The room is very small, and the bathroom is the size of a closet. We are not large people but the shower was so small it was almost unmanageable. For a larger person it would be impossible. There are hardly any outlets for charging electronics (an extremely important thing in this day and age). The TV gets only the most limited basic cable channels. The walls are paper thin, so much so that our very loud neighbors kept us up most of the night. At one point we thought they were going to come through the walls. The only positives we took away from the experience is that the room was very clean (it appeared to be recently refurbished), and the motel was very close to the Lake George village. I wouldn’t recommend this motel to anyone expecting the amenities of a modern place of lodging.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating, but the room wasn't as advertised. The bed was full size, at best, not queen. The bathroom was extremely small and you could see through to the ground around the piping for the sink.

Adirondack style comfortable stay
I always stay here, and the bathroom is newly remodeled. It is an older style place, no frills (no a.m. coffee) but the room is private, quiet, and comfortable. Walking to town is possible, for some... Not for physically challenged, seniors, or strollers. Stewarts is next door for coffee and snacks. Million dollar beach is right down the back road.

Clean and friendly
My cabin was clean, and the bed comfortable. The parking lot is newly paved, and the owner is improving the current rooms and adding cabins along the back of the lot. The owners are friendly and very helpful. I had a soft rear tire on a motorcycle. The owner offered to help me find the leak and patch it--he has done this for other motorcyclists in the past. I walked the bike while he and his boarder examined the tire, but we couldn't find the leak. Got the tire changed nearby, but they both checked in on me later to make sure all was well. Delightful stay. :)

The Doray is a friendly motel in a convenient location near Lake George. The room was Adirondack style, clean, with a new bathroom. Comfortable room included a fridge, microwave, tv and a/c. I walked a few steps to Stewart’s in the morning to buy coffee and a bagel. Would definitely stay there again.
