Great place for a getaway!
Our family enjoyed staying here over Labor Day weekend! We found the house to be clean and with enough room to accommodate everyone. The location is great with so many different beaches and restaurants nearby. It was quiet at night and cool enough with just the windows open. We would stay here again!

Northern retreat satisfies
My wife, sister and I, all in our 70s, stayed here for a week in August, 2023. Could have had many more stay - lots of bedroom space. Kitchen, dining area, living room upstairs and a sort-of rec room downstairs; 3 bedrooms upstairs and 1 large bedroom down. Full bathroom with bath/shower upstairs, full bathroom with accessible shower only downstairs, plus washer & dryer. Location was perfect in that it is central to Leland, Suttons Bay & Northport and not that far from Traverse City, Sleeping Bear Dunes and Empire. A small public swimming area on Lake Leelanau is just about 3/4 mile due north of the property. Entire facility was clean and had lots of amenities. Would consider staying there again.

My son and I came to the area for a family burial. Staying here gave us a pleasant place to be, after a long hard day... Very comfortable and homey. Clean and we'll stocked. Nothing to do, but relax and unwind. I would stay here again.

Had a great stay. There were 3 couples for a long weekend. House was so nice and there was plenty of room. Well stocked with the essentials (towels, soap, paper products, etc) Away from the hustle and bustle but close to wineries and downtown traverse city. Would definitely recommend

Exploring Leelanau
Excellent location for exploring all that Leelanau has to offer- dunes, Leelanau State Park and lighthouse, Fishtown/Leland, Glen Arbor, Sutton Bay, wineries, distilleries, great restaurants. The home was ideal for our group of 8 adults-we enjoyed gathering on the patio and around the fire pit. I was a bit disappointed to spend the first hour of our visit cleaning the dust off of the ceiling fans-one bedroom was particularly bad. My husband also vacuumed off the floor fans and bathroom vents, which had accumulated grime and dust. Finally, I saw a fair number of ants in the bedrooms and kitchen. Nothing a little indoor bug spray couldn’t fix but ant spray was not provided.

Hidden gem
A perfect spot for our family trip to Lake Leelenau! We were pleasantly surprised by the size of the house and the proximity to things to do. Location was beautiful and well located to Sutton’s Bay, Traverse, etc. Close enough for a quick trip but far enough to avoid the congestion. Would return again!

Family reunion
This was our second time renting this property and it never disappoints. It is very clean and they are always updating. On our first stay we noticed a musty smell in the basement and let Jim know and this year it was sooo much better! We will definitely be renting this house again!

Loved the stuation of this property with beautiful trees around the yard and only one house next door. Also enjoyed the living spaces which allowed the children to play and sleep downstairs while the adults had time together upstairs. Special family time! I was surprised with the lack of toys and games but thankfully the children were able to entertain themselves.

We had the best week! The house had everything we needed and it was very clean. Easy location to get to - lots of things to do in the area and this house felt central to that. The owners were great and gave us some fresh eggs from the chickens in the yard, which our kids named and have missed since we left. We had to configure the rooms a little to fit each family - there are three bedrooms upstairs and then one large bedroom downstairs in the basement with a king and a twin. The basement was really nice and great for the kids to play in! It was hot while we were there, but the window units helped a lot. We could have used an extra fan for airflow, but overall we were fine. Would definitely recommend staying here!

This was my second time stating at this property and it was perfect yet again. Location is biggest things for me, along with the fire pit. The home is central to every in Leelanau so nothing is too far away, and the fire pit was perfect for relaxing after a long day. Everything inside was very clean as well.

We enjoyed our trip, it was nice the property was close to the beach and there is a little town close. We were outside most of our trip, but really enjoyed the fire pit and grilling out on the deck. The owners seemed nice.
