Pros: everything i liked about this hotel from the decor to the food
Cons: the only thing to be improved would be a power shower
Location: great location south shore but walking distance to all aminities
The new brooklyn is a lovely hotel with great value for money, very clean, and tidy its like being in a large hotel but without the big price tag,the breakfast was excellent on both mornings i stayed, friendly staff were always on hand to help,i cant really find fault with this hotel and yes whenever i go back to sunny blackpool there is really one choice.its gets a 5 star rating from me.mr jacobs manchester

Our family holiday in Blackpool August 2014

Posted Aug 23, 2014
We had a very warm welcome when arriving at the New Brooklyn Hotel by Simon and showed us to our room which was a lovely surprise as we looked out onto the beach and very spacious seeing as we are a family of 5. Breakfast was excellent and the children were able to choose anything off the menu, atmosphere throughout the hotel was warm and friendly. Simon always on hand to deal with any issues but we had nothing to complain about all week. Hotel was clean, well decorated throughout and felt very relaxed at all times. We throughly enjoyed our stay in Blackpool and when we return we would not consider any other hotel apart from the New Brooklyn. Thank you to Simon and all your staff.

Ok for the price

Posted Jul 30, 2014
Pros: View and on site parking Breakfast was nice
Cons: Size of the rooms/bathrooms Some towel rails installed Shower pressure
Location: South pier Pleasure beach Sand castle Beach
We had room 14 which had a double bed, single bed and small seating area. Beds were quite hard and small. The room was far too narrow. We could hardly pass along between the bottom of the bed and the wall. Tv in the room was tiny. Holes in the door had been filled. Wifi we could not get in the room as it was out of range. Never tried any other area. Window sills were filthy. Other areas of the room were ok . Iron and board provided. Also tea /coffee making facilities and some hanging space for clothes. Bathroom was tiny and had hardly any space to move. Water pressure in the shower was non existent. Nowhere to hang the towels. Nice sea view. on the promenade near Pleasure Beach and South Pier area. Breakfast was nice, no complaints there. I would probably of returned here again if the room had of been bigger. If you like space then this place is not for you. If your looking for somewhere just to sleep for a few nights and not bothered about space then its fine.

Location: Plenty shops and close to the tower and the pleasure beach.
I stayed in the new Brooklyn hotel in May with my family we all had a great time there. Simon the owner was very very kind friendly and very helpful . The hotel is a two star but it is easy a four star the rooms are very clean the whole hotel is of a very high standard . Every detail has been taking care of with no expense spared. I would go back to this hotel in a heart beat hoping to go back later in the year. There is also a car park too which is great. My mum and dad stayed there too and the loved it . We gave been going to Blackpool now since the late 70's showing our age lol and thus us by far the nicest hotel we have ever been in it was such a joy. If you are thinking of going and you have read this just go and book it you will not be disappointed .

Pros: Clean and tidy, and on entrance a very thick carpet that you sink into. A warm welcome and a lovely breakfast. Onsite parking. Excellent value.
Location: Location is good, all attractions are easily walkable.
Great trip to Blackpool. Lucky with the weather and this hotel is a great find.
