This hotel has a unique feel- country, cute and elegant all together. The staff was very helpful and friendly. This property would be even better in spring or summer so all the amenities could be used.

OK for stopover 1 night stay
OK for one night stopover but the rooms have very thin walls and poor bedding. Conveniently located off the hwy. Staff was great and worked hard to try and please the guests.

Worst hotel ever
Half drunk bottle of water in fridge and had to demand to see manager to get fresh.’ Room unfinished and dirty. If there had been another hotel available nearby we would have left. Would not recommend.

Great Hotel, clean and friendly staff!
Hotel is very nice and clean, bar area is good and has entertainment including large screen for sports. Might try it again for the golf!

Nice hotel, let down by buffet dinners
An excellent well priced hotel which was convenient for exploring not only Paris, but also the Île-de-France region. We found it comfortable and the staff very helpful. Our only disappointment was that on 3 evenings buffet dinners were the only option available; the choices in these were poor and starters were repetitive from day-to-day. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and plan to return next year.

VERY NICE HOTEL
I found this to be a great place to stay, but it was a bit difficult to find despite having a Sat Nav. I stopped 3 times to ask local villagers for directions. I had requested a disable room as I have arthritic knee and hip problems. I was given a high sided bath for a shower. This proved difficult and could have been dangerous as there were no grab rails. So near and yet so far!
There is no house address for this hotel. Though Hotels.com site indicates Le Coudray-Montceaux, the hotel is actually two round-abouts after you see the sign indicating you are leaving the city. We drove around asking for help for 45 minutes trying to find the hotel. We stopped people and stopped at two other hotels b/4 we found someone who knew of the hotel and got good directions. Asking for referrals for restaurants sent us on wild goose chases both nights we were there only to find that the referred to restaurants were closed. Asking for directions to the museum/Palace on our itinerary, the staff neglected to tell us that all museums are closed that day. Not enough electrical outlets for two people with cell phones and laptops.

The hotel is somewhat isolated but it has a nice country setting. I was there for a wedding and spent little time at the hotel and did not use the restaurant or other facilities available. The staff was attentive and responsive.

One of the worst experience, it does not deserve 4 stars apart from outside the inside and the service is a none star hotel and believe some members of staff needs to get better training.

unexpected surprise
Really good hotel with lots of facilities to keep kids entertained. Only let down was restaurant service at both dinner and breakfast. Breakfast buffet was being cleared away full ten minutes before it was due to finish and dinner was slow and confused

The pictures of the hotel on the website in no way represent it. On check in there were pictures as per website. We asked for a room llike that and were told that these pictures were from other hotels in the chain. Very poor would not recommend it.

Reasonable Value
Stayed 5 nights. Not a lot of choice for hotels in this area, so this one is probably one of the few good ones. While probably at the lower end of the Mercure chain's range (rather dated design and fittings), this is still a good choice if you need to stay in the area as it is near to the freeway. They do seem to try to fill the hotel with large groups, so check beforehand if this is likely to bother you. Room was comfortable and quiet despite the location near the A6 freeway. Food, especially room service was adequate, but not good. Breakfast time service, was rushed and struggling to cope with the number of guests. Be aware this hotel is out in the countryside, in what used to be an old farm/county estate, so there are is no nearby town or village to walk into.
