We are so glad that you had an amazing trip to the Black Hills. It truly is heaven on earth for people who love the outdoors. While you explained to me that family trips in general can’t be perfect, but the house fit all of your needs some future guess maybe wondering what wasn’t perfect. Part of the reason that I manage The rental portion of our home is so that if anything is out of the ordinary or if a guest is wanting for or needing anything I am just a phone call away and we have staff in the area to help you right away. A rare sighting for you with the bobcat, as in 20 years of coming to the Black Hills I still have not seen one. All sorts of wildlife is in the area but it is a good reminder that we are in the forest but also to point out that much of the wildlife is nocturnal. Brooke and Corey- I just don’t know what to say!! Everything that we built our home for, you mentioned. Family and memories. Being together. Spending quality time. We are close to so many activities in the Hills, but truly you don’t have to leave our home for anything. You said it so eloquently. Thank you and I hope you can come again.

Thank you for your review. We take pride in managing our home personally. Particularly so that we have one on one contact with our guests when there is am issue. We ask our guests to take a walk through the house when they arrive and report anything that is unsatisfactory. Our housekeeper will remedy anything that she can at that time or at the guest’s convenience. The master bedroom bed is a Sleep Number bed. We chose it for our guests because the firmness can be adjusted for anyone’s comfort level. If a guest has any questions about it, we are always a phone call or a VRBO message away.We want everyone’s stay to be the best it can be.

Alexus, we LOVE the hot tub on the deck too. The stars are so amazing! Thank you for pointing out some expectations for our future guests. We certainly don't want to overwhelm our guests.... you are on vacation. Staying in a home is just a little different than staying in a hotel. For instance, putting chemicals in the hot tub once a day when you are done using it keeps it safe for you to use the next day and safe for future guests. I think you'll find as you rent more homes that we all have checkout lists, and really we just ask that guests leave the house the way they found it. But you are right, future guests will want to read about the expectations in the Rules and Regulations before they book, as VRBO requires.
