Private and Relaxing Lake View
This really is a beautiful setting - it is very private and quiet. The front porch is where we spent the most time in the evenings, hearing the loons call was priceless! The home was clean and well-appointed. Due to these positives, I give it a five star rating. However, a few things are needed to make it even better - repair the holes in the window screens. This was a very hot summer stay and there is no air-conditioning. I really wanted to open my bedroom window at night to get the cool breeze, but I couldn't without letting mosquitos in. There was one very small fan, but I would like at least one big personal fan per bedroom to offset the heat. One more recommendation - upgrade the shower. It was literally the smallest stall shower we've ever seen. I could not escape the water spray to use soap.

When we arrived the cabin was very clean and neat. It was a great time with friends and we spent the entire day Friday at our private beach! The dogs had a great time as well! We would definitely go again! Thanks for the great place to stay!

Wedding stay
The property was very nice and private with a walking path down to a private beach. The only complaint I have is all of the beds were extremely uncomfortable which led to very little sleep for all. New mattresses would make this cabin a five star stay

Good location and the lake is nice!
Let me start with the good...The location was great since it's just a short walk down the path to the lake, which was quite rocky so bring water shoes, but the water was nice and clear and your own little area. I love the all wood in the house. The beach are down the path is your own private area and you have plenty of space. Plenty of bed to bring a family and a couple friends. There are a couple games for people to play which is nice. They supplied plenty of towels for shower use as well as the beach area use, which is something no place has ever done for a large family. The cons: The bathroom sink was leaking and though I called and someone came the next day to fix it there was still a leak some where so we kept a towel on the floor and just kept wiping it up after using the sink. The kitchen seriously lacks stuff to cook for several days for family such as a pasta strainer, oven baking sheets to cook on,proper utensils for cooking and pot holders for the few pots there are to just name a couple things. With a description of "a kitchen fit for a chef" we were very disappointed by this kitchen and it made things harder instead of vacation mode easier. The back door handle was not in working order and my husband actually had to ask the repairman who came for the sink to use a tool so that he could fix the handle himself so we could open the door and close it properly. No entertainment so we rented kayaks from a near by place which delivered and picked up. There are kayaks along the trail down to the beach area but we were told they are not for our use. Renting them was definitely worth it and they were really nice ones also. The back stairs are a little scary but no one fell. And I would suggest to bring fans for each room as there isn't much air with the ceiling fan being so high. It was a lovely home and I'm sure loved by many lake vacationers but it is probably not some where I would go back to with my family as we just need a little bit more.
