First off, somehow I was listed as having 2 rooms under my name. One with my charge card which I made for one night and a second room for 2 nights with another charge card, not mine. It took time and phone calls to sort it all out and get the second room canceled. Then, after I was in my room, a man entered my room and we realized that we were both assigned the same room. He got that fixed. Then, at 12:45 a.m. the fire alarm went off and we all had to evacuate the hotel in our pajamas and stand in the parking lot until the firemen were finished…not a restful night of sleep as I needed to be up and out early. After all this, I will not be choosing a Microtel again.
