This was our first time staying at a Sleep Inn. Was absolutely impressed with how clean amd comfortable our room was. Staff was friendly and helpful, breakfast was great. We had no complaints whatsoever and will definitely stay here again if in the area

The pool is alot smaller than I thought it would be, even for indoor. Its still nice though with the hot tub right beside it. Staff seemed a little moody, or just really quiet maybe. The room with the hot tub was nice, but the hot water knob on the tub was broken needs work done(room 121.)

Very nice place for a family of 5. Plenty of room, hotel was clean and offered a good breakfast.

I was so thrilled to know my cat was welcomed. I had a lovely relaxing evening between my long drive. The breakfast was wonderful and the receptionist at the desk was so help in finding us a place for dinner

A convenient and quiet hotel at a good price. The bathroom lighting is insufficient, and breakfast offerings were disappointing. Desk staff were great.

We had a great stay. They take pets and we had our cat. She enjoyed the room too. It’s not fancy but purfect for us. Staff is very friendly and helpful. We got food delivery from Gina’s tratorria. It was delicious. We were Traveling with our horses so we needed a Comfortable place For us, horses Stayed at a horse hotel. Lol

Nice room, clean. Not modern but not dated like some other reviews. Friendly service. Isolated area but close to VMI & W&L. Next to Horse center. Waffle House up the street.

The hotel was clean and well maintained. Rooms were clean, beds comfortable. We are pleased how quiet it was being located next to a heavy traffic area. I would say breakfast was very good, you couldn't expect more given the nightly rate. Nice place-we would stay there again!

Nice stay! Mostly clean. Beds good. Breakfast eggs bacon waffles-typical cold spread. Which was unusual was coffee,tea,apples and honey buns available when we arrived. Tooth brushes and other toiletries at the front desk if needed. Staff super friendly and accommodating

Friendly Staff and Great Breakfast
We were took a family trip to Lexington to see VMI and some family friends. The hotel is right up the road from the campus and very easy to get to get in and out of. We got in late Friday and checked out Sunday. Every one we met was friendly and helpful. The included hot breakfast was a big plus and certainly made the stay that much more pleasant.

The front desk staff was very helpful. My kids said the pool was too cold and I thought the hot tub was too hot, so we didn't spend as much time there as we hoped. The hotel was easy to find and the area felt safe.

I was showing at the Virginia Horse Center, which is literally 0.4 miles from this hotel! VERY convenient and it was clean and comfortable and in good repair! I'll definitely be back!

The employees were friendly enough. Breakfast was mediocre. Pool was small but clean. Hot tub was nice. One HUGE issue we had was the bathroom mirror began to slowly become crooked throughout the first evening. By 6 thirty AM I woke up to get ready to go to the Horse Center. Maybe too much info but I sat on the toilet, heard a crackling sound and jumped up and caught that huge mirror as it was falling off the wall. So I put the dam thing on the floor and dressed and went to the front desk. The woman looked surprised and just laughed. No sorry, just laughed. The maintenence man came and fixed it. Bolted it rather than used the tape it had originally been up with. Again we never even got a sorry. What if it had fallen and actually hit me or my daughter? Then the iron leaked all over my daughters show shirt. Husband went to get a different one and we were told there were none. But they did come up with one. Next year it is Wingate for us.
