Good location however very poorly maintained, one window pane cracked, multiple cracked floor tiles in bathroom, bed mattress worn out, tv no signal, no wifi as wrong password supplied, carpet dirty and torn, windows rattle in the wind, both toilet and handwash faucet dripping thru night, the check in staff was friendly , only 1 very hard pillow, very noisy thru night from airplanes overhead , like every minute going to land at heathrow made worse as windows not double glazed

I loved the price and the location. The building is historic and the room was small but adequate. There is no lift, and locks didn't work.

The hotel was old, but okay for what I expected for a European property. No elevator was not good, especially for older people. Location was good. However, a restaurant was listed and there was NO restaurant.

There was mold all over the ceiling of our bathroom. The blankets provided had many yellow stains. The heat didn’t work out first night there. They did store our luggage but it’s just stored in the lobby out where anyone could grab it. The location is very convenient though.

The location is unbeatable, super connected, walkable, just a few minutes walk from Westminster Abbey and the Big Ben, Buckingham Palace and St. James Park, coffee shops, pharmacies, convenience shops and bus stops. The place leaves much to be desired, it is not clean, the staff is not helpful or friendly AT ALL, but at least check in and check out was efficient. They put us on the top floor- climbing 6 flights of Victorian steps with luggage is no easy feat and no help was offered at any time. Room had all the basics, teeny tiny bathroom and shower and hair drier.

I was surprised how good was my experience with St.George hotel. Clean, nice, close to Underground, local restaurants, close to Big Ben (15 min walking). Thank you and i want to come back!

Run away fast
Pictures were not accurate. Must have been from different hotel! Mold, dirty sheets, dirty floors! Service was horrible! When we asked about where the pictures were taken all we were told was I’m not sure sorry! We left and found a different hotel! Front desk supposedly the manager on the phone and oyo all refused to refund our money. Do not stay here!

Good location and friendly staff, clean bed but other areas of the room need a good cleaning. Cracked window, a lot of broken tiles in the shower, worst part no bathroom door

The hotel is old with very small rooms, no air conditioning and it gets extremely hot in summer days, especially on upper floors, mattresses are very cheap and not comfortable. Pros: location and price.

Decent room but needed better cleaning
+ Convenient location. + Room was small but comfortable. - Not cleaned thoroughly. Bits of rubbish from previous guests in the cupboards and behind the door. - No hair dryer (might sound trivial but I’d checked this before as I was in London for an event) - reception said there should be one in the room and didn’t have spares. - Luggage storage didn’t seem particularly secure.

This hotel was dirty, one twin bed in our room was broken and propped up with pillows. When I complained all they did was add more pillows. The toilet seat was not even attached. Do not stay here! Online pictures are misleading.

Avoid this hotel, it’s what nightmares are made of. Used it for a last minute quick one night pit stop and it was horrible. Toilets only flushed after 5-6 tries, I don’t know the last time they vacuumed or cleaned, bathroom disgusting , mold used left over toiletries spider webs everywhere broken fixtures just left as is, thick layers of dust in corners , never ever again .

Even if you have a long day of travel, you will not be allowed to check in before 3 pm. Shower does not drain, had to wear shoes. We had to turn the water on to get wet, then off to soap up, then on to rinse off. Black mold in the shower, staff said it was just stains. Not all lights were working/had light bulbs in them. Was comfronted by guest staying below us for getting up early to get ready. We were only walking in the room getting dressed and using the restroom. Thin walls and floors.

I definitely would not recommend staying here. The toilet only flushes after the 5th or 6th time pulling the handle, and water leaks out the handle as you try to flush it. The shower does not drain properly so you stand in an 1-2 inch puddle throughout your shower. The pillowcases are ripped and housekeeping points the rips outward as they make the bed - so it’s clearly visible. The included hair dryer stops every 15 seconds like it’s blowing the fuse, then clicks back on about 2 mins later to work for another 15 seconds (while nothing else is plugged in). The toilet paper doesn’t even have a bar to sit on. I tried calling about the toilet 4 different times during business hours and they only answered the 4th time, which was when I was using the hair dryer and about to check out anyway. If things in the room worked I could see it being a basic, no-frills 3-star hotel, but definitely not in its current state.

The room is too old and smells, the bathroom was disgusting has mold the curtain shower was never changed, the towels smells bad, we arrived at 4:00am because our flight from Portugal was delayed and we couldn’t ask anyone for a clean towels, we tried to look for another hotel but they won’t refund the money after I told them how dirty the bathroom was they cleaned but the mold was still there I took pictures and video that you may want to look. Let me know.
