Unfortuantly Mother Nature has been harsh this Summer between the unexpected Algae issue then the Tropical Storm passing through. But it does show why we have a "beach" cottage and not a "ski (snow)" cottage. Even with the Algae issue it is still warm out and there is plenty of things to do besides just jumping into the Gulf whereas at a ski cottage with no snow it is just cold, ice, etc. to deal with. And unlike being at a ski cottage when a blizzard hits where you are snowed in, at least the Tropical Storm adds some excitement & hopefully clears up the Algae problem. Our thoughts were and still is for guests can come, visit & explore the area but be able to come back "home" to the cottage instead of a Motel room. Some of our guests never go more than three blocks from the cottage and others spend everyday exploring what is within driving distance of the cottage but the idea is that they always return back to the privacy of a "home" instead of just a room with a bed in it. First time we had a bunny staying with a guest so we are happy the bunny also had a good time. LOL Do apologize about the Fridge going out during your stay.
