Booking interface issuesPosted Aug 21, 2014
This may be an expedia interface issue, but I made a reservation for 3 kids and 2 adults. Upon arrival, we were slotted into a king bed. No rollaway.

Very pleasant staffPosted Oct 2, 2013
Pros: Grounds, staff attitude, food.
Cons: Did not stay long enough to see anything needing improvement.
Location: Only a few minutes from Montauk town center and beach by car. And a good exercise walk into town. Beautiful beach in Montauk. Many good restaurants
I had a one night stay and arrived late. The next morning I had to attend a memorial service. The restaurant was closing, but they accommodated me with easy preparation items, which I so appreciated, as I had not eaten since early in the day. Staff was very polite and stayed until I finished. I felt comfortable and no need to rush. Room was nicely decorated. Grounds are lovely. And a very nice breakfast buffet (all cold foods, but variety) was served in the morning with coffee. I would love to stay there in summer.

More for couples and singles than familyPosted Jul 26, 2012
Pros: The pillows, mattress and comforter were really good and cozy..
Cons: No room for things.
Should have a hair dryer. Needs a shelf in bathroom to put things. There is no room to put anything down. Did not have any internet connection.

Montauk Sole east beach stayPosted May 5, 2011
The Hotel itself was okay. A bit of a bug problem in our rooms. We had to ask them to send someone to spray because of ants. But the location was great. Walking distance to shops. The overall Hotel was okay. But I've stayed at better places. It was okay for the price.
