Great stopover between Krakow and Kyiv
A really beautiful hotel in Lviv located on a main square and walkable to restaurants. The breakfast buffet is first class and the rooms are spotless.

I stayed at Grand hotel for just one night at the end of April. Check in process was disappointing, no information about the amenities, breakfast, Wifi, spa, or other services. Just a remind to promptly pay the tourist tax. Then, I asked to check out 2 hours later, at 14pm, and they said I need to pay half of the rate of the room. Hospitality at its best. 80$ for just two hours. Breakfast could be better for a 5 star hotel, they did not have no apples or bananas even. The waiter also did not bother to come to offer coffee or juice for the entire breakfast. Wifi does not work steady on the 7th floor. Overall, overpriced hotel with average customer service. Avoid.

A grand old hotel in the heart of Lviv - the location can't be beat, a bar that' s open 24 hours and a great workout facility make it my favorite hotel in Lviv. Not the best restaurant, but not bad either. Good breakfast buffet and coffee.

The staff is extremely friendly and some of the most professional people I’ve ever met. They took great care of us and allowed us to store our luggage they night after we stayed in the hotel while we explored the city. Our bartender Oleg took great care of us and we could tell he genuinely cared about his clients. I would recommend the hotel to anyone.

A very nice end to a trip.
We made a swing through Western Ukraine for the holidays and ended it with a 3-night stay at this property. It was very nice. The only downside was the bed comforter was too small for two people and one night the wait service in the bar was quite slow. Otherwise we have a great time. the food is excellent. Highly recommend the pumpkin soup. And the giant rocking horse in the bar was a hit with kids of all ages.

Overall a good experience. Friendly service. Very nice spa. Lots of people at the pool over the weekend, because they buy a weekend pass for the spa. The location was the best of course. The breakfast was nice but not too much of a variety, mostly the same dishes every day 😏. Cleanliness not perfect, but regular. The restaurant was a little disappointing for some reason. Maybe a little overdone trying to be too fancy. Sometimes you need to have a choice of some kind of a comfort food for the late room service. But no. The restaurants in town are much cooler. The twin beds are not a great choice for a 5 star hotel too. Overall we had a great time! Thank you!

Not a pleasant stay - can't recommend
Can't recommend this hotel. Several things were wrong with my room - air conditioning didn't work (in the middle of July - maintenance tried to fix but couldn't), hot water wasn't working, toilet seat was broken, room was quite dark. Also, went to the pool for 30 minutes one evening - over crowded. I counted over 20 people there for a very small pool.

A little part of Ukraine where you can be yourself and the staff will be completely courteous to any out of ordinary situation. We had many various requests that were accommodated without question. Everyone in our very large party was very happy with their stay. The only thing I wish this hotel offered is childcare. Either way, we hope to come back.

Fantastic Location
A fantastic location (particularly if you can get a balcony overlooking the street). Nice looking place. Mostly friendly staff. It is one of the places where I will stay again when in Lviv. There were 3 things that were not the best: 1) Gym closes at 8pm, pool, Sauna's ... everything shuts down. This felt very early (particularly for Lviv), 2) The bathrooms are old and quite small. There is no barrier for water on the tub, so a shower is not an option. I just used the gym shower, but it also has the time issue, 3) There seems to be low coordination with hotels.com programs such as the Gold benefits. Supposedly i was due 1 spa treatment / day (for free - which is awesome), but no one at the hotel knew about it so i got charged for it full price. They had sincerely never even heard of this benefit and it was not flagged in any for them. Again though... I like it. I like the staff, the style... and Spa area is great, the Gym is good, the Location is fantastic.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities, property conditions & facilities
Beautiful property in a perfect location, comfortable and very clean rooms, breakfast was very good, also amazing bar experience probably the only bar in the region where they make a proper Manhattan, Old Fashioned cocktail very skilled bartender. I will definitely stay here again.
