Wonderful neighborhood that is central so all of the main attractions are within walking distance, with many cafes, restaurants, and shops along the way. The super friendly staff made us feel warm and welcomed every time on our way out and coming back from the day of adventures. Will stay here again.

We can’t be happier with the location. Authentic and close to countless tapas bars. We chose this hotel after reviewing many YouTube videos. Glad we did not stay close to Gran Via and the crowds. L&H has someone at the front desk 24 hours a day, ready to assist and provide friendly guidance. Isaac was super helpful.

Clean room but pretty small for 3 people--it came with a double bed and a couch that folded down into a bed. We were told an extra cot would be 30 euros a night. The hotel staff was friendly and spoke English. However, the doorknob on our bathroom was broken when we checked in. Close to a neighborhood with lots of tapas bars and there is a small grocery store on the corner by the hotel. Good wi-fi.

Very nice BUT shame about the drains smell.
Right, this apartment is obviously recently refurbished, and overall its very nice. It's I. A great location, literally 10 mins walk to Plaza Mayor, passing lots of bars/restaurants/shops etc. The room was clean, modern and comfortable, well I say comfortable, it was except for the really awful smell from the drains in the bathroom, which was very unpleasant, and no it wasn't from our own bowel movements before anyone asks, it was a shame really, we bought an air freshener but even that wasn't enough. I would have no hesitation staying here again if the drains had been sorted, and of course if I ever return to Madrid. The staff by the way were excellent, even the night security man, who definitely deserves a mention for his pleasantness and willingness to help, just a shame about that smell.
