Best Hotel In Central Madrid
The hotel was in the best location of Madrid. It is central to so much and the staff was beyond helpful. The hotel room itself was very clean and adorable.

Great place to stay and explore madrid
Location couldn't be any better. 5 minute walk to the market for the BEST food in town. 10 minutes to palace. The only thing that could've been better is the mattress but the price was right for a location central to everything and very clean. I'd stay here again.

The hotel is in a great location, our first rooms was reall small the air Conditioner wasn’t working well, in the room was not clean that well specially the bathroom, we then asked to have us change to another room they did the bathroom is bigger the Air conditioner was still working decently and much cleaner

The Hotel Plaza Mayor is a very comfortable and reasonably priced hotel just a few steps from Plaza Mayor many of Madrid’s many downtown wonders. We will be back.

Customer service, I asked them for better beds because the beds in the room were not comfortable at all. Their response was, oh you booked the room. I had to cancel though I paid in advance, so I paid penalty. I booked same day with Vincci via 66, what a great hotel with wonderful customer service and great amenities for same price. Better location also.

Great location
The location was wonderful. Be aware there are steps before you reach the elevator. The hair dryer overheated quickly so we had to ask for one at the front deck. Staff was friendly and helpful. Blackout curtains were torn and shabby but the bed was comfortable.

Great place perfectly located
Great little converted hotel very modern styling in rooms. Reception have great recommendations on places to out locally. It is located in the central area within walking distance of many sights to see.

The location is excellent. You can literally walk everywhere in central Madrid from here. Plaza Mayor, Plaza del Sol, flamenco dancing places, Mercado San Miguel, shopping, restaurants, markets, and train stations are all within walking distance. Receptionists were great, kind, and informative. WiFi speed was very low, could upload only about 6 pics at a time. Need to ask for hair drier at reception. Breakfast was not great.

The room was very small relative to the other hotels we have stayed at in Spain. The location of the hotel, just off the Plaza Mayor was very central and we were able to walk to all the attractions we wished to see

Amazing location, big room, great shower. Air con was centralized and very hard to get the temperature correct. The only complaint we had was there was no blanket just a sheet and cover. We asked for one but it was tiny. Otherwise would definitely recommend.

Excellent location close to all great attractions. Room was too small, breakfast not included. But you can purchase breakfast, which was overpriced. Had a mixup upon checking in I was charged $50 dollars more, according to front desk i was told that I had not requested 2 guests. This was completely inacurate. Very upset!!! Overall the stay was just ok. Plan on going back to Madrid. But Will choose different hotel.

Perfect location! We didn’t use the metro but the Puerto del Sol station is close. There’s a nice wine and chocolate bar in the lobby with great prices!

Madrid at it best
We had stayed at the Plaza Major hotel several years ago and loved the location and the facility. Our current visit was equally enjoyable and we appreciated the upgrade done since our last visit and love the energy of Plaza Mayor and surrounding area. Great tapas bars and restaurants right nest door and location is an easy walk to the Prado and other Madrid sites.

Very nice hotel in a great location
Great location. Very nice older hotel with comfy beds and spacious rooms. Nice staff and good wifi too. I'd give it 4.5 stars out of 5 stars. Great value as well. Would recommend to a budget traveler or a mid-level traveler.
