Fulfilled our needs... eventually
The hotel was OK and fulfilled our needs, eventually. The front desk staff were very slow and disorganized. We had to ask them for things 2 or 3 times before they responded to us. And our Landry was lost for several hours before they returned it to us.

IT WAS NOT GOOD TO STAY. ROOMS ARE VERY NARROW IN SIZE. AND WE PAID FOR 3 PERSON FOR BOOKING ,BUT GIVEN OUR FULL EFFORTS TO UNDERSTND THE HOTEL STAFF.

Location was hopeless... small roads and highly congested... no food facility in house...parking to be done far away.Charges exorbitant for the facility

Good place to stay
Enjoyed staying at the Lotus hotel! Decent hotel at a decent price. Good location for walking around in the area near the Meenakshi Amman Temple. Area was not to noisy. Comfortable beds and room was nice and clean. AC and ceiling fan both worked. For some guests it could be helpful to know that there was no toilet paper or towels in the room, so bring your own. We did not request such because we already had our own so can't tell whether the staff will provide it or not, but they were welcoming and helpful. Can recommend staying at this hotel.

Very bad hotel!
Fan operates through a remote which the hotel staff will not give you. Every time you want to increase or decrease the speed of fan, you have to call them. The hotel doesn't have a restaurant and gives a coupon for breakfast in a nearby restaurant. The restaurant was dingy and unhygienic. Hotel staff said that you can order food from room and they will get the food, however there was no menu card to order from. There is hardly any space in room, to my shock the sink was outside the toilet, not sure what made them think that people using toilet would not wash hands. They gave one soap for a room which was booked for three pax. I had to ask for toilet roll as it was not provided. Room was complete opposite of what was shown in pictures. The entrance of hotel is from narrow lane, our car couldn't wait for a minute as it lead to a heavy jam.

Not recommended
Not recommended. Small room with very small bath that don't allow a shower. The staff was cleaning the coridor at midnight making alot of noize. Asking them to stop and calling the reception didn't help. The walls are too thin and they finished iur area at 1am!!! The rode to the hotel is not paved so the rain maked it muddy.

Nice hotel but needs further improvement.
No breakfast within the hotel. Coupons issued to take breakfast @ a hotel nearby, n hence inconvenience caused.
