Nice hotel with small waterpark.
Lovely hotel and perfect for a family with children of different ages as there is something for everyone in terms of pools and water play areas/water slides. Location was a bit remote but we used the free shuttle bus to Puerto Banus. Food was good...on a par with other similar hotels and non of us ever went hungry or felt like we had to have the same day after day...the variety was good enough. The daytime activities put on by the animation team were good but the evening entertainment was not brilliant. There was dancing on stage for the younger children from about 8 ish for just over an hour...the younger kids love it! This is followed by Bingo and we never made it to the show which starts at 10.30 ish, but apparantly the shows were quite good. Rooms were modern and cleaned well. Outside areas were cleaned each morning.

great hotel which suits all ages
We travelled with my son his partner and 3 kids aged 7,8 and 1. the hotel was immaculate and modern. staff were helpful and friendly. brilliant choice of food with something for everyone. Splashworld has pools, slides etc to suit everyone from babies to adults

Awesome resort
Great new hotel has a small aqua park included mostly for kids but overall a very good all round hotel. Evening entertainment seems to revolve mostly around kids rather than adults so if you are travelling without kids, as a couple or as a younger group of friends perhaps best to go somewhere else for the evenings after your meal. Food was absolutely spot on and the all imclusive makes it well worth it. Theres plenty of places to go around in the evening around the area of estepona or marbella if you have a hired car or use a taxi.

Very nice rooms although a bit on the small side.
Pools are very good but the beach is terrible, it's the only holiday I have ever been on where the beach is used due to stones and lots of stinging jellyfish. Fly problem in the beach food area but food in main rest. was great. The hotel did have gypsy carvans in the carpark outside the hotel and there dogs did keep coming into hotel as the kids would feed and water them, but it didn't cause any problems. Drinks are served in plastic cups which isn't very nice as they drip all over the place. Ask for a glass if you are not sat watching show where all kids are and they serve drink in glass.

A nice self contained spot.
Right on the water. Beautiful large pool. Site is ideal for longer stays for familys in that it is isolated and self contained. It offers great buffet meals.

Good modern stop over.
There is a local Spanish tapas bar 5 minutes from the hotel (well before the busy main road that you come off), this is worth a vist. The hotel was very comfortable and quiet this time of year.

The room we were put in looked nothing like the photos on your web site. The place looked appealing had nice swimming pools tennis courts etc. After parking the car we had to take our luggage about 400 metres to the room. The building was very old & the room was poor, no A/C & poorly maintained. As they have a number of buildings the building we were put in was called Formentera the one cloest to the sea and I would say the oldest.

Hotel was really good and close to the beach!
Our room was nice, stayed in the menorca block, a/c was a godsent!! Although we had a few resident ants.... Everything was reasonably clean. Beach really close and happy divers scuba centre just around to the left of the beach! Pool was good sized, and sun beds was always available. Only negative i have is that the staff was really unhelpfull and miserable most of the time... Like they really didnt want to be there.... Other than that we had a great time in the sun!!

Perfect break
This was a last minute booking and we couldn't have dared hope for better. In fact we were very surprised once we arrived that there had been any rooms left at all. Check in was easy and efficient. The grounds were lovely lots of lawned areas, trees and shrubs. We were in the Ibiza block, it was a big, bright airy room with balcony, overlooking both the pool and the beach (you can see Morocco and Gibraltar). The room was immaculately clean with air conditioning, fridge, lovely walk in shower and ample storage. The room was cleaned each day. The grounds are quite extensive, there is an area just off the beach with it's own beach restaurant, tennis courts, a lawned sunbed area, a very large pool, the majority of which is very deep and excellent for swimming, lots more loungers around the pool, a pool bar with seating area, a smaller childrens pool and behind the restaurant is another good sized shallower relaxation pool. The food was excellent and plentiful, lots of choice and very fresh. The entertainment was good, two activities each in a morning and an afternoon for children and the same for adults, including pilates, yoga, aqua gym, volleyball, shooting, football, archery, table tennis, darts and pool. In an evening there is always a children's disco followed by bingo and various shows. The staff were all helpful and friendly and it is located in a very quiet area perfect for relaxation. It really was a perfect stay.

Very nice family hotel close to the beach
I would definitely go back to this hotel. The hotel actually looked like the photos posted - newly refurbished. The all inclusive tariff was worth it - the food was fresh and good quality. The staff were friendly and helpful and there was plenty on offer daily in terms of activities for all ages, if you wanted to participate. The beach was close by but it was a little rocky and had no beach bars - so was unspoilt. I would definitely recommend a car for getting about. Wi-Fi had to be paid for in the room but was available free in the bar area. In room safes also had to be paid for as an extra.

Pleasant but not a hotel
Globales Playa Estepona, Malaga is not a 4 star hotel and should not be rated as one. The "hotel" is a timeshare which lacks the basic normal hotel amenities. It was another hotel and recently underwent renovation and this is evident. It is not located as I requested in the city of Malaga but Malaga province. This distinction was not made and I assumed I would be in the city or very near it on the beach. Instead I was 56 Km away and had purchased train tickets to go to other cities from Malaga. This caused me to have to take lengthy and stressful car rides to the train station and incur car rental and parking expenses, needless to say causing unnecessary expense and difficulty. You cannot use the restaurant, cafeteria, or bar unless you are pre-paid timeshare. I had to beg them to let me pay for dinner the first night and two breakfasts - the food was classical institutional fare and expensive. No soap was provided. We insisted and finally got soap on 3rd day, no pool towels - bring your own, no free internet as Expedia indicated in the room; Also need to pay for the safe in the room, which we did not have to do in Madrid. "hotel" is located in an isolated and shabby area with no restaurants within walking distance or close driving distance.

Ups - lovely location next to beach. Room very dated asked to be moved to better staff not helpful at all so didn't bother making a fuss. Cleaners very good. Breakfast -ok No sunbeds available at the weekends as the Spanish arrived and were all taken by 8.00am taken till 6 pm on sunday when they left.

Rooms and gardens/pools excellent and very clean.Entertainment good and breakfast very good. We were obliged to request a room in the blocks by the beach as the originally offered room was in the back and did not have sea views. We paid a little extra but the upgrade was good value. Very helpful staff.

no kettle - no ironing board - iron you have to ask for at reception - no balcony even if you order the superior room sea view - people smoke in the rooms - noisy at night with people returning - check in took an hour - no sea view until room was changed - ants on ground floor in bed - bed supplied for a baby under 1! - pool very cold - no mini bar service - no room service - shower runs hot and cold - no sofa bed - no toiletries - safe didnt work. breakfast ok but nothing amazing. - house keeping were fantastic, rooms were very clean and fresh towels supplied every day. basically there is one block that you see on the photos IBIZA block you want this block facing the pool or none at all !! we booked the best room available and were basically fobbed off because of a hotel inspection (we were told) however we saw guests staying in the IBIZA block. Derelict hotel building next door is not the best eye sight.

rooms are clean and house keeping was perfect. General hotel rubbish -no mini bar - wifi always drops - no iron or board (have to ask) we booked sea view superior room and ended up on ground floor with the ants facing the carpark ! if you decide to or have to stay here you want the ibiza block facing the pool - we tried to ask for it and was given a lame excuse. the area is being upgraded and i believe in the future it maybe ok but for now i'd avoid. derelict building next door is an eye sore.

1980's hotel but really more of a Brits abroad facility. Only stayed 2 nights but room not made up or soaps etc not replenished. Great if you are 18 to 26 and can put up with 1980s accommodation . I would not reccomende this hotel

Lovely hotel, reception staff nice and helpful.
I arrived home 10th May 2014. Hotel had has some new additions and a little bit of work still going on, which was a bit of a pain at 8 am. But, overall a very nice stay. Hotel is adjacent to the beach, new blocks are stylish and staff are always cleaning and maintaining. (well at the moment they are) I was in the old block, which was reflected in the decor off the room, but even that was a big room, lovely and spacious. My only gripe was the bar drinks, quite expensive, but I wasn't offered half board or all inclusive on arrival, or by Expedia, so had to by my own, vodka and lemonade 5.20 euros, ( cheaper in bars) I asked for a Pina Colada, thinking it was it was going to be in a cocktail glass, it was served in a plastic vending machine cup, half full and was charged 5 Euros, I was pretty shocked!! At the end of the road are the bus stops. 15 mins to Estepona 1.40 euros, 22 euro's in a cab! Hotel laid on entertainment. Very nice holiday and pleasant experience. Not really near a ny shops or bars, which could be a good thing to some.

Ok if you are Spanish!
This hotel used to belong to a Spanish bank for its employees' holidays. Although one block has been refurnished to a moderate standard the rest of the hotel is like a 1950's holiday camp. One swimming pool was empty and not in use. There was only one person at reception who spoke any English and she was not always available. Breakfast was of a poor quality. We had to argue to get a room over looking the pool and not the car park. There are buildings on the beach that need to be demolished. The shop was never open and we had to drive to get to a restaurant or shop. The photos on your website do not look anything like the real thing. This is the first time we have been let down by hotels.com.

Our stay was pleasant, the hotel building has been renovated so the rooms are great. The rest of the installations needs a face-lift as well as the beach (it looks like they are working on it) Over all? Good location for the money, very clean rooms, pool and great view of the sea.

Relaxing night
Perfect quiet stop (in June) before heading to meet a larger group in the mountains. Seemed to attract a lot of retirees at this time of year. Staff was pleasant and helpful and the pool was lovely, with views of the ocean. Beachside restaurant was handy for lunch or a drink. Don't forget to bring your own pool towel! Room was modern and clean, but not very spacious if that's important to you.

Foi um fim de semana espectacular. O Hotel é muito bom, com boas comodidades. Os escorregas são espectaculares e as piscinas são extraordinárias. Recomendo o jantar no restaurante da praia. O único ponto contra é a praia e as moscas. Embora o hotel fique na primeira linha da praia, esta é muito má, cheia de rochas. Não se consegue entrar na agua. As moscas é outro inconveniente, pois não nos deixam descansar nas poltronas.

Très bon séjour ! A recommander fortement !
Bonjour, L'hôtel est vraiment très propre et très bien entretenue que cela soit l'intérieur ou l'extérieur, du rarement vu. La nourriture est très correcte mais si un peu répétitif au niveau du buffet. L'infrastructure aquatique est impressionnante au regard du nombre de toboggans ! Très bon point. La plage est belle mais la présence de galets empêche de s'y baigner à moins d'être équipé/motivé :-) Personnel très agréable et discret. Seul bémol, les chambres sont mal insonorisées. On entend beaucoup les personnes dans le couloir, surtout en pleine nuit. La chambre quant à elle RAS, spacieuse, bien équipée et propre. Vu le prix de la location des voitures, je vous conseille fortement d'en louer une afin de visiter les environs (surtout Ronda qui n'est pas très loin et Senetil Las Bodegas), surtout que le parking de l'hôtel est gratuit et juste à côté des chambres !

Un hotel comodo, para no salir de alli
Hotel comodo, con todo incluido no hace falta salir de el, lo tienes todo. El parque acuatico fenomenal, el personal amable y servicial, buffet bueno y con dos restaurantes para elegir, si pudiera decir algo un poco peor seria que los horarios estan adaptado a extranjeros, pero eso es en la mayoria de hoteles. Varias piscinas para elegir asi qie no habia masificacion de gente. Para mi un 10

Todo muy bien, servicio y atencion al cliente muy bien. Animacion fenomenal, parque aquatico y piscinas..una pasada.habitaciones geniales. Piscina dnd esta edf mallorca, necesitaria un bar, ya que si t apetece algo tienes q desplazarte hasta el restaurante para poder tomar algo en esta piscina y la comida del buffet muy repetida.

toen we zijn aangekomen op de 4e. was ons verteld dat wij boekte bij expedia..en die krijg nooit good kamers met balkons.. ik dacht dat ik een kamer met balcon en zee view had geboekt.. maar oke volgende dag omdat ik een leuke band met de receptioniste had..wilde ze ons verplaatsen naar een kamer met balcon..

ongezellige kale sobere kamer, leek wel een kazerne, bedden niet verplaatsbaar, met meter tussenruimte waardoor de 2 stoelen 4 meter van elkaar verwijderd moesten staan. Alles heel erg oud, gehorig en bedden die bij iedere beweging enorm kraakten. Nog nooit zo,n slechte hotelkamer meegemaakt, zelfs niet 1 ster waard. Het werd gelukkig wel iedere dag schoongemaakt met schone handdoeken. Wifi ALLEEN in de ongezellige cafetaria. Alle drankjes werden alleen maar uit plastiek bierglazen geschonken, ook de wijnen. Nog niet de helft van de prijs waard. Zal dit adres beslist niet aanraden

Een prettig hotel om te verblijven
Wij hadden een kamer in blok Mallorca, ouder maar prima enschoon met balkon,klein koelkastje aanwezig erg fijn. Mooie zwembaden genoeg ligbedjes , eten was prima voor ieder wat wils. Vriendelijk personeel.

Habitaciones sin aire acondicionado. Buffet con poca variedad. Con el todo incluido bebidas de mala calidad y entrecomidas diseñados para extranjeros ( a media mañana y meriendas, hamburguesas, perritos, ...). No se merece las 4estrellas que tiene.

Chambres vetustes mais beaux exterieurs
Hotel situé sur une voie rapide entre Estepona et Marbella. Très difficile d'accés (nous avons mis 2heures a le trouvé.) Chambre vetuste et vieillissante mais propre et nettoyé tout les jours. Wifi gratuit disponible que sur une zone restreinte autour du bar, et wifi payant très cher et ne marche pas bien. Exterieurs par contre très charmants, jolie plage, belle piscine (une de repos et une de natation+ pateaugoire) Personnels de l'accueil et du restaurants très charmants dans l'ensemble (notamment le jeune serveur très souriant) Animation le soir en Espagnol/Anglais/ Francais mais l'hotel est surtout fréquenté par des locaux. Rien au alentours donc necessité d'avoir une voiture ou d'emprunté les transports en communs (que je n'ai pas testé donc pas d'avis) pour pouvoir se divertir. Pour la nourriture, très repetitive mais il y avait toujours de la viande et du poissons, le buffet etait rapidement reapprovisioné. Nous avons passé de bonnes vacances et apprécié Marbella ce qui fait que nous reviendront surement dans la region mais pas dans cet hotel.

Idealement situe en bord de mer et non loin en voiture de puerto banus. Personnel d accueil a la limite de l amabilite. Bcp de lits jumeaux . La photo de la plage est peu representative. Les transats sont situés sur le côté. Propreté et entretien bons.
