This hotel has the same owner as the hotel across the walkway. The staffs spent all their time at the other hotel and unless you ring the bell, there is no one to greet you at this hotel. Once you ring the bell, they ran over and they were very pleasant and courteous. The cleaning staffs seems to be efficient although I have not talked to any one of them.
The room is typical of most rooms in Europe with this star rating. Extremely small room, just the basic with working toilet, bathroom, TV and AC. The walk in window leading to a balcony doesn't close but apparently it is a safe area since nothing of personal nature has been taken. Aside from the issue with the window, I booked this room to sleep and refresh and planned on being out touring so the basic was OK.
The location is perfect however. It is literally there at the Plaza de Toro, the Plaza de Espana and the New Bridge. Restaurants, coffee shops, souvenir shops, "Jambon shops", are all nearby. I only drink bottle water while in Ronda so it is convenient to have a grocery store within 10 minutes walk. If you have to have fast food, there is a McDonald right there at the Plaza de Espana. The location made my visit to Ronda very enjoyable.
If you plan to send postcards back home, there is a post office nearby too. The store inside the Toro ring has unusual merchandise worth buying as souvenirs (although they are a bit more expensive than other souvenir stores around town, however you get higher quality products).
