The area itself is stunning and extremely tranquil. However I found the overall service poor. One waitress was repeatedly rude to my partner and I at breakfast for wanting to sit inside. The room was small, didn’t have a bin and had no AC so got very hot in the day.

Scenic location, with interesting wineries nearby as well as amazing Castell de Alaro if you are ready for a 2.5-hour hike (one way). Staff is good. Food is OK but isn't quite on the same level as everything else.

We loved the place and the staff was amazing, very helpful and friendly. The property itself was quite, beautiful and remote just like we wanted to be.make sure you rent a car as it is remote from the big city center. We are definetly planning on renewing our visit.

A wonderful stay - we will return !
We love everything about this hotel and staff. We discovered it a couple of years ago and had lunch there, we always said we would return for a stay and it lived up to expectations and perhaps even exceeded. The pool, the view, the terrace, the restaurant, the staff, the space, the rooms - everything was wonderful. We felt very well looked after and cared for, the restaurant much better than we had remembered so much so we ate every meal there during our two night stay. We wish we had stayed longer as believe this hotel not only suits brief stays but long stays. We did struggle with WIFI in our room but settled in the conference centre when needing to work. Phone signal was an issue for us but many other guests seemed not to have a problem so we might have been unlucky. We found out where it worked and then settled into that (we're business owners hence that was a concern for us). The calm and kind staff who were truly wonderful, the beauty and peace from the mountain views made for a wonderful stay for us and we will return. We even believe that it would be cosy and lovely in Winter!

Very nice location, main problem was that the room was very warm. Food was reasonably priced though they wanted a 10 Euro deposit for the pool towel. Inconvenient as I didn’t take any money to the pool.

We booked this property for my (now) wife to get ready in peace on her wedding day, for her bridesmaids to be there at the same time along with photographers, the room we were showed and promised last year was completely different. However the room we received was a shoe box, damp, smelly, staits to the terrace that wouldn’t pass most H&S checks, shabby furniture, peeling paint from the ceiling. The member of staff in reception was unhelpful and refused to find an alternative. As the hotel had a wedding that weekend, what I suspect is that our room was put as a second priority when we’d had the room booked for more than 7 months. Do not use this hotel, unless you are getting married they do not care about you and provide poor customer service. We eventually walked out and had to find another hotel on a Friday at 6:30pm and am yet to hear from the hotel owner or reception in regards to a form of reimbursement or compensation. AVOID AVOID AVOID.

Totally disappointing and annoying because of cost
The staff were not particularly welcoming. The room decor was dated. Not enough towels for the 3 people staying. Third bed was delivered but not made up. The restaurant food was average. The waiters walked around like prison guards. All in all a case of style over substance. Whilst checking out we were not even asked if we had a pleasant stay. They were just happy to take our money.The only redeeming qualities of the hotel are its setting and the pool. A thoroughly disappointing and sometimes annoying experience.

If you are seeking a memorable holiday in a luxurious hotel that is relaxed and hospitable, set against an idyllic backdrop of breathtaking mountains; then look no further. The infinity pool area is kept meticulously clean and inviting. The resturant staff are highly attentive but not intruding and the food is exceptionally good and on occasion, beyond that! When I booked this holiday, I hoped for something lovely to enjoy with my family. This hotel met and exceeded my expectations. It was a week of peace and calm perfection out of our ordinarily busy lives.

Wonderful quite and quant hotel in the hills. Beautiful setting. We booked half board and you get a set menu for dinner, brilliantly selected fresh ingredients and attentive service. Depending on which route you go by, it's 40mins over the mountains or 15 min from the motorway.

This is a beautiful, peaceful, almost idyllic hotel and I'd recommend it for a relaxing break with fabulous scenery and lovely food at very reasonable prices. The hotel itself is a warren of beautifully styled rooms and they obviously pay great attention to the decor and ambience. The restaurant, which we ate in for all four nights of our stay, served well-prepared and tasty modern takes on traditional Mallorquin dishes with a pleasant wine list. It has a relaxed feel and the views are spectacular. The staff here were friendly, helpful and attentive without being over-present. Our room was quite large with a secluded terrace and I'd say it was a very nice room, comparing well to other, more expensive, places I've stayed in Mallorca. Only two things let the hotel down - the lack of poolside service, which isn't really a big deal and the offhand, almost rude, front-of-house/reception staff. With one exception, a younger woman, they were unwelcoming, unfriendly and unhelpful from our arrival to our departure. Quite abysmal really when the rest of the hotel was so lovely and all the other staff working hard to make guests feel welcome. If it hadn't been for the can't-be-bothered attitude of the reception staff, I'd have awarded at least one extra star in this review. Someone really needs to get a grip on the reception staff and teach them that first impressions really do count.

The hotel is situated in a tranquil and relaxing location. It is a very traditional hotel, and a little bit old fashioned for my personal taste. The outside dining terrace is very pleasant with views to the mountain. The pool area is a good place to relax, but the sun loungers need changing as they do not offer a good standard of support any longer, and have become quite uncomfortable. The rooms are a decent size, but the lack of mosquito nets on the windows is a problem. The cost of installing nets on the windows would be very modest, but would make a big difference. All in all we would stay here again.

We had booked the stay via Hotels.com and we had 10% discount voucher. This turned up to be a mistake. Upon an arrival to the hotel we were given a key and directed to our room. As we walked in I was in a state of shock for few seconds, the room was small and didn't have a terrace which we had booked and paid for. We decided to go back downstairs and ask for the room that we had paid for- terraced room. We were given a key and told to see if we like this new room better. It was so much bigger than the first room and much nicer inside, with two armchairs and little table and we saw the door that clearly was leading outside so we took the room. It was only the next day that we discovered that the room that we got was a room with tiny balcony (without light so couldn't use it at evening/night) and that terraced rooms were downstairs.The hotel was clean. Breakfast was continental, but it was ok for this size of a hotel. On the other hand the hotel was in beautiful area, there was a magnificent sense of calmness and relaxation, lack of wifi in the rooms meant that we spoke and played cards (couldn't do that on the balcony thou) and had more quality time. The rooms were very clean and we would still recommend it for shorter stays especially bearing in mind you have to drive a lot.

We had a perfect stay at S'Olivaret. The staff is very friendly and supportive. And the restaurant serves excellent food. I forget a ring in the hotel safe and I was contacted immediately and had a chance to collect the ring. Pool and surrounding are just lovely. I will definbetely come back!

Not for Families!
Although advertised as children friendly it is definitely not. On checking in we were asked to ensure that we monitored our children at the pool (fair enough) but asked to make sure they won't too noisy for fear of interrupting other guests' peace and quiet. This even extended to the restaurant. Although the waiting staff were very friendly. Our holiday shouldn't be about ensuring our children are 'seen but not heard' even when they are being well behaved Avoid rooms 17 and 18. Condensation from air cooling unit soaked our baggage in room 18 and room 17 smelt like a sports changing room. I happen to work in the industry and I this is almost certainly due to a recent flood or water ingress likely to come from regular condensation leaks from air cooling units. When I mentioned this to the management on checking out their response was that no other guests had complained!!

Great place for couples...luxury for cyclists.
After a hot cycle ride this was an absolute oasis.Beautiful ,elegant,spacious rooms all individual but to the same high standards of comfort. Very attractive pool area overlooking the valley.Might be difficult to get to if mobility is a problem.Pool a little too chilly to swim in. Food and wine very good with a good choice of foods at breakfast. Safe place to store bikes.

Fantastic location, but you need a car to make the most of it. Can't really fault it.....beautiful four poster room, huge bathroom and fabulous views. Great swimming pool and other facilities. Local villages have numerous authentic restaurants and wonderful atmosphere. Would definitely return and recommend.

A Beautiful Hidden Gem - Wish we stayed longer!
I stayed here with my wife for 2 days in October 2011. The finca is beautifully maintained and has wonderful grounds and views over the nearby mountains. Our room (13) was a good size and had lots of character. The bathroom in particular was fantastic with a great shower and seperate bath. Only minor issue was that it overlooked the patio, so we could hear people talking when we went to bed early if we left the window open. Not a big thing, the other gusts were all quiet and well behaved! Buffet breakfast had lots of variety and was a real pleasure each morning, taken on the patio with a great view of the sun coming up over the mountains. We were a bit worried about eating at the hotel, given some other reviews but need not have been. Perhaps they have a new chef now? The food was fantastic and given the quality, fair value for money (we had the set menu - the a la carte menu was a bit more expensive) We did not get round to using the pool, but it looked very inviting, set in lovely gardens. The other communal areas of the hotel are well maintained, immaculately clean and full of interesting historical artifacts. There were no children there when we stayed, I think this would better suit couples who want to get away from the more busy resorts. It is a car trip from a beach - you would certainly need a car if you want to stay here - other than the fantastic mountains there is not alot else around which was great for us but not for everyone I guess. In summary a great little place with tons of character, very clean, friendly and ideal for a romantic getaway if you want a taste of the 'real' majorca!

Ubicación y entorno de 10, sitio muy apropiado para desconectar. El personal es muy atento, trato muy familiar, te hacen sentir como en casa. Habitaciones, al menos la nuestra, mejorable, poca luz y ducha no acorde con el hotel ni con el precio de la misma. Le lieu est magnifique, la rénovation est plutôt réussie. La vue est incroyable, mais la gestion et le personnel ne sont pas au niveau ! - chambre réservée pour trois : uniquement deux peignoirs - pas de serviette de piscine ni dans la chambre, ni au bord de la piscine. Nous retournons à l’accueil ou l’on nous informe qu’une caution est obligatoire pour avoir une serviette uniquement en cash. (Dans ce genre de lieu, où l’on paye 400euros une chambre + restaurant c’est hallucinant de demander 10 balles en cash pour obtenir une serviette de piscine) nous n’avions pas assez de cash, nous avons donc dû nous contenter de deux serviettes pour trois ! - les serveurs ne sont pas souriant et parlent mal l’anglais. Très très dommage tant le lieu est sublime !

Toller zuvorkommender Service. Wunderschöne Zimmer im antiken Stil. Der Infinitypool mit Blick auf die Berge ist gigantisch. Haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und würden dieses Fincahotel ohne Bedenken weiterempfehlen:)

Experiencia a repetir.
Fuimos tres parejas a pasar un fin de semana. El lugar es precioso, el personal muy amable y simpático, la comida buena y abundante, buena relación calidad precio. Nos gustaron las dos piscinas: tanto la interior como la exterior. Habitaciones muy acogedoras com muebles antiguos muy bonitos. Cosas a mejorar: los postres del restaurante y la red wifi.
