We stayed for a long weekend and for the price it’s a good hotel. We had a superior room which was bright but there’s not really a sea view available. The Sky bar has a good sea view though. The beach is a short walk away and the sea front is nice to walk along in the evening. A Taxi is about €20 from the airport.

Clean hotel with a good choice of pools. Reception staff were helpful however bar staff appeared to be inconvenienced when asking them for a drink and would frequently leave you standing at the bar for some time before acknowledging you were there. Food was tasty but very repetitive for both lunch and dinner and it is very rarely labelled with what the dish is, no allergy advice and no information if it is suitable for vegetarians. There is little to no entertainment but the team were nice and chatty in the evenings.

Nice jacuzzi bath
It was nice, especially for the price. Breakfast was good with a nice selection. Aircon allowed the room to be pleasant so we slept well. Would have like another pillow, but overall it was a good sleep. Jacuzzi bath was well needed at the end of a long day.

Breakfast service only 1h slot super early 7:30am to 8:30am, rooftop bar/sunlaunge area was shut. Drink was served in a broken glass (not chipped - hole missing in beer glass leg). When arrived at dinner service, person at the door got a message and was on his phone for good few minutes while the people were queuing up behind us which I found very rude.

I was there in mid-October so slightly out of season despite the weather being consistently in the twenties. The location was good, close to the airport and a short walk from the beach but a lot of shut shops due to the time of year. The room was small but sufficient. Had a problem with the shower leaking, used towels to mop it up and then left them in the shower to be replaced but they were just removed! From chatting to other residents, there were lots of differences in the rooms. There was no full length wardrobe, no full length mirror, and the air-con didn't work - they said they'd turned it off as it was winter(!!!) even though the first two days were 29 degrees. The pool was small and shaded for several hours each day but there was a sky deck which offered uninterrupted sun - however, they closed this on the Tuesday due to end of season!! I wasn't told this before I got there or on arrival and it was a real shame. The cocktails in the sky bar were excellent! The food was ok, bit hit and miss but I never went hungry. A huge organised holiday party arrived midweek and it was chaos in the restaurant with them there. The pool bar was short staffed at times and seating was a premium but they were generous with the servings. Sometimes the music was way too loud and the speakers couldn't cope and it also made it hard to have a conversation. There was only entertainment on two nights (the same singer both times). The staff were sometimes a bit abrupt but Carlos was lovely!

Well what can I say about this holiday..... Good points - hotel was lovely, clean and food was fine. I am a very fussy and plain eater and managed no problem. Other than this there is nothing good to say. Bad points - hotel amenities and info listed it incorrect. Mini bar aka an empty fridge, asked at reception and was told no there was just somewhere to put your stuff. It was also supposed to be a non-smoking hotel but yet guests where smoking at the pool and other areas, albeit outside but some seating areas are covered. The hotel staff bar about 2 were so unhelpful, rude and could hardly speak and English. The hotel is so poorly laid out, no sign posts to show where anything was. The Sky bar as well wasn't all inclusive so any drinks had to be paid for. Don't expect any English speaking guests as they are few and far between, mostly German and Dutch. The entertainment was only in the evening, that was only until 11pm and then the bar shut down at 12pm!! You couldn't even sit in the area after to finish your drink. On the day of my check out, my pick-up wasn't until 3pm, check out was 11pm. I went to the desk about 10.40, the member of staff said check out, my reply yes, she literally at the scissors at my wrist to cut off my all inclusive bank before I had even the room key handed back. I wasn't even asked if my stay was good etc. Customer service is terrible. So so let down by the whole experience and I definitely wont be back.

I highly recommend finding something to keep yourself amused in this hotel. The reception staff were abrupt with us from the start. We arrived in our room at 1am with no food or drink being served and empty mini bar which left us with a menu of oreo biscuits and mars bars for our dinner that evening. There was no entertainment at night, no snacks behind the bar which made our holiday experience regimental with the diabolical meal times which were on offer. When we did decide escape the building we were told we were too loud and the reception had "several complaints" as we were leaving. At 11pm. Absolutely shocking considering we went to an "adults hotel." Although our holiday was nice we spent most of our time out the hotel.

The room looked very different from the pictures. They gave us two single beds for couples. I do not understand the assignment of rooms. The temperature control of the room didn't have good monitoring, it was sooper hot for 20 deg C and no lower temperatures were possible.

The hotel was at the far end of the resort, and when we went the resort was virtually closed. We had to walk considerable distance to find any entertainment. The main pool area was ok apart from a big tree blocking the sun and many of the sun loungers being broken. The rooftop terrace was nice but it was not included in the all inclusive package and it closed without notice whilst we were staying there. Apart from a television there were no entertainment facilities in the bar which made for a somewhat boring experience. There was no atmosphere. The bar staff were often too busy chatting to serve drinks. The worst complaint about the hotel was the food. There was a poor selection of food, which was replicated night after night, but worst of all it was virtually cold. I would not recommend this hotel and would not recommend the resort at that time of year.

The hotel is very clean; all employees ( except 1 reception guy) were very nice, trying always to help; food is pretty good; the rooms in the non-renovated part of the hotel are not up to 4 star hotel, but they are ok for a few nights. Location is not great, but is pretty close to the beach.

First room booked stank of cigarettes, had no choice but to pay upgrade for another room in hotel the other hotel room had dirty toilet and hair in shower, noisy hotel some sort of dog park at the new part hotel and guests screaming in hallways at 4am also thin walls do hairdryer and showers wakes u up all the time would not recommend

Lovely time, very relaxing stay! Our favourite place to relax was the Sky Bar, even though you have to pay for cocktails they are worth the money. Maria was fantastic we loved chatting with her in Spanish. The Standard room is very very basic, we upgraded to a suite yet they didn't have an iron or ironing board in the room. We had to request one at reception and told to return it as there was limited availability. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will return.

Nice hotel close to the beach

Close to the beach and Airport.
The hotel was amazing. As I arrived at the hotel I was offered a complimentary glass of refreshments ( never seeing it in any arenal hotel before) Lovely and helpful staff. Lovey rooms And the most important one ( the food was just SUPERB!!!) It is my 3rd year going to el arenal Mallorca, and I have stayed in hotels very close to Mediterranean bay and I have decided to try this year. Without a doubt I will definitely stay again! Nothing was too much hustle. I was also allowed to bring 2 guest for dinner ( with a fee) and they both loved the food as well. The variety of options was just amazing. My only criticism is , because I don't drink alcohol, I think they should improve on the quality of soft drinks. For instance, a fresh orange juice at dinner or breakfast and avoid to use those machines which make any drink very sweet. But overal, I will be coming back for sure! Thank you.

Good localisation in Arenal
I just stayed one night. The Mediterranean Bay Hotel has a good location. Some 300 meter uphill from the Arenal Beach. My room No 102 was quite small facing a traffic crossing. I would recommend room futher up in the building and balconies facing the pool area. The entertainment seems to be very popular with life band/singer. Check inn very smoth andand fast. Check out just 30 seconds.

Nice hotel, close to the beach ... varied facilities, such as the rooftop pool and bar. Helpful and friendly staff .... buffet breakfast was good, as plenty of selection. Loved it, would gladly stay there again

Amazing hotel - would return
Not sure what all the bad reviews are for, I stayed here with my girlfriend and it was perfect, incredibly clean and nice premium room.. lots of food always, we had one night of Germans partying next door but the security guards soon put a stop to it. I would say the hotel was mostly couples rather then people wanting to get drunk! The only bad thing was as other people have mentioned the toilet inside the room. Also the evening entertainment was quite poor! For an adults only hotel they had a magician one night??

Upon arrival staff seemed a bit all over the place, trying to multi task with different customers instead of just one at a time. Never really explained much, in particular how the All Inclusive works, works included and how the restaurant/bar works. Room was nice, although no toiletries provided in room (even though they advertise it on Expedia via both description and photos). Food was nice, although a bit same everyday. Not sure the target customers for this place, diverse age ranges here - Adult Only is a bit vague to advertise.

Good hotel
Spent 4 nights in the hotel and had a nice time the alll inclusive food was of a good standard and everything was clean and well run. The thing I can say I wasn’t happy with was the view from the balcony a old run down building and the amount of noise of stags and lads in the middle of the night shouting and slamming the doors. I also had my birthday when I was staying in the hotel and they came to my room and delivered champagne and a letter saying happy birthday from the manager. All in all this hotel is pleasant and the location is good less than 5 minutes to walk to the beach and the bars.

Nice Modern Hotel close to beach,shops,bars and restaurants. We had a Superior room which was fairly small but very functional. The room was modern had a nice shower and flat screen TV also a free safe. Didn't like the toilet which had a glass sliding door and allowed smells to come into the room and no extractor fan. We had a balcony with a view of the block of apartments very closely situated opposite, not ideal but not a problem. We had all inclusive for three nights. The food in the dining room was excellent quality and good choices. Self service on all drinks at meal times was a real plus. The negatives were only one bar serving the pool and inside so often long queues for drinks. Beer served in tiny plastic cups, no other food outside meal times except a few left over sandwiches and cake from lunch. The worst for me allowing smoking anywhere around the pool and outside eating area. I would definitely stay here again but would like to see the smoking and bar sorted out. Number 21 bus from the airport to El Arenal cost 5 euros or Taxi cost 18 euro and the rank is right outside the hotel.
