Lovely hotel, nice views and close to the beachPosted Oct 11, 2014
Hotel staff was friendly, rooms were excellent and we had a fantastic view. Rooms were cleaned daily. Only bad point is there is no wifi in rooms unless you pay extra, for a 3 star is not acceptable and the gym was hardly useable. Apart from that I was so happy with the hotel :)

Avoid please !Posted Sep 15, 2014
Pros: The staffs try to do their best to help. The lounge area is nice and quiet.
Cons: Entrace looking above the main door, balconies, need fridges, irons in rooms. Comfortable beds, internet facilities in rooms. Privacy.
Location: Nice location but not a very mixed community. Sometimes hostile looks from groups of drunk men if you are not from the same part of the world as them!
Advertised online as 3.5 stars but is actually only 3 stars which should be further downgraded. Pictures look great online but do not look up when you walk in the hotel entrance. Entrance quite nice and tidy but the face of the hotel dated and dirty looking with first view of guests towels hanging off their balconies which looks ugly. Bring your own iron if you need ironing as they have 1 iron only to share between 228 rooms. This is ridiculous that a hotel cannot afford to invest in irons for their guests. They don't have a fridge in the rooms which i believe is a must in this area as is gets really hot. You cannot even buy your own drinks as there are no possibility of storing them cool. There is no privacy in the rooms as the balconies are so close to each other with low bariers. It gets a bit intimidating when you try and relax on the balcony (on the unconmfortable plastic chairs) as your neighbours are looking and listening to you. I paid 15 euros for internet which didn't work at all. I specially requested for a double bed but they only have 2 very uncomfortable single beds put together which doesn't even stay together. So if you hate your partner and doesn't like cuddling in bed, they are perfect for you! I asked to speak to the manager which he never did or probably didn't even get the message. Staffs are nice but their abilities are limited to their managers/directors inefficiency. They kindly extended my check out due to me being sick drinking their room water.

Fantastic sea viewsPosted Aug 26, 2014
Cons: Breakfast could be stressful so being directed to a table would enhance the experience.
Location is good with a beautiful sandy beach only 5 minutes walk away. The resort itself caters mostly for the German tourist and an English accent is fairly rare. It is also very touristy and most of the shops sell the same, non-traditional items. This was a great spot for a week but wouldn't want to spend any longer. The food at the hotel was of a good quality, with plenty of choice. However, you have to find your own table and at peak times, particulary breakfast, this could mean waiting for someone else to finish before you could sit down.

Really great holiday - stayed at the hotel for 4 nights, and enjoyed every moment. Great breakfast buffet, staff were lovely, and the facilities were top notch. Would definitely recommend to both couples and families!

Excellent hotel with friendly staffPosted Jun 24, 2014
Spent a week half board and found that every morning and night the food was top class. The variety and quality were excellent. The rooms were immaculate and all staff members were very friendly and helpful. The pool area was lovely and the scenery beautiful.

An Ideal Family Holiday HotelPosted Jul 31, 2013
Pros: Great location near to the beach in a nature reserve at the quiet end of town.
Cons: The Pool bar menu needs to be improved.
Location: There is a Dive Centre and a Segway park within 5 minutes walk and lots of boat cruises from the harbour.
I used to go to this hotel on family holidays as a child, so it has a lot of happy memories associated with it. The guests are almost entirely German and the resort is very much aimed at the Geman market. This is the first time I have been back in 20 years and most of it's key features haven't changed. It is in an ideal location with a short walk to the beach, at a quiet end of town but within easy walking distance of the harbour. The pool is a very useful size and shape with a good sized children's area. There are children's activities organised next to the pool for 1 hour in the morning and 1 hour in the afternoon which give Mums and Dads a break. The wine list in the restaurant is very good value and the evening meal starts at 18:30 which is good for little ones. The buffet is a bit variable with most of the food being quite unexciting but the BBQ meat, fish and local fruit and veg are excellent. Our little one ate very well and the staff are great with children. One considerable improvement is that the rooms have air conditioning now. Another thing that keeps us coming back is that there is always shade available, both under the pine trees on the beach (its a nature reserve) or around the pool. The sea views from most rooms are absolutely stunning. We will definitely be going back.
