The staff are very friendly and helpful. There are amazing view from the hotel of the bay and the sea, and lots of facilities on site e.g convienence store/gift shop, spa/salon. However, you are limited in terms of things to do in the local area as it's really far out. Other than going for long walks (the Red Tower is about 40 min walk away), it's advised to take the ferry to Comino or Gozo or else get the bus into Ghadira/ Meliiha/St Paul's Bay. Also the hotel could do with a big upgrade, for example moving sockets to the bedside.

Outstanding location & services. Highly Recommend
Great hotel at the tip of Malta. Spacious rooms for the range of choices. Highly recommend Bay view rooms that are quieter and have outstanding views. Full board isn't worth the extra for lunch as it has to be taken at the premises across the road. A range good priced fresh Sandwiches and snacks are available at the bar and there is also a shop inside the hotel. Free flowing, soft drinks wine and carlsberg served with dinner. I chose breakfast only which has a full range of hot and cold selections including fresh fruit and cakes daily. I recommend to travel using the local bus pass. The bus system is easy to navigate using the app and the stop is directly outside the hotel. 7 days travel was only €22pp. You can purchase a card from the stand by the main exit of the airport and take the X4 directly to the hotel. It takes approx1hr 30mins. Ideal cheap transfer if you do not have huge amounts of luggage. Whilst out exploring have dinner out each day, there are many amazing restaurants in all the areas of the island and it doesn't restrict you to the confines of the hotel. Facilities at the hotel are great with a huge gym area, indoor and out door pools, play park and also a games room. This hotel is worth every penny. Outstanding. You will love it.

The property is well maintained but does need some upgrades. Had problems with the air conditioner breaking down but had no problems relocating to another room. The rooms could have better hair dryers. All around it was a nice experience.

Mattress very hard. Only one socket in room and no usb. Need more tea coffee and milk. Fridge works but very old. Food above excellent, staff above excellent, very clean. Buses are 2 euro, realised ticket is useable for two hours anywhere on last day! Overall highly recommend

Enjoyed our stay in there. The room was big and airy. Good air conditioning and a splendid view. The only negative thing is that the check in is late at 3.00pm compared to other hotels.

Had a great stay
Loved the hotel and proximity to the ferry. Bus right out front will take you wherever you need to go. Clean, very nice hotel. Most of the staff were pleasant and accommodating with the exception of some at the front desk. If they wont address your issues ask for a manager as they are very helpful and understanding.

Resort is mid as they invested all their money in the enterance/ lounge area Don't know where the private "beach" even was as there is no directions to it Some staff are unenthusiastic/rude or both especially the breakfast check in lady Someone was already complaining about not getting their room cleaned, when i was checking in The check in is unnecessaraly extensive, all they didnt ask me for is my national insurance number The fan on the ceiling was on its last straw as it looked like it was about to fall the entire time The bathtub was dirty on arrival Cockroach in the shop The shop on the ground floor is overpriced comapred to shops in Mellieha Indoor pool has bugs in it and smells too much of chlorine and water is very warm, there was sand a debris at the bottom Tv in the room is like 28 inches and placed 2 meters away from the bed The hairdryer broke after 3 minutes of use as it disconnected from the head to the tube Housekeeping still comes in even if you press the designated button for them not to come in The €10 deposit per towel for use at the beach, which you have to return by 6pm Bed is rock hard Pros: The view of the sea from the Superior room 2 pillow options Able to get new shower towels daily Kettle in room Breakfast is good The location is alright as you can get to other beaches in 15 min by either walking or taking transport

We had a lovely stay. The room was spacious, comfortable, clean and had a great view of the bay. The staff were very friendly and efficient. We stayed half board and the food (buffet) was excellent (and plentiful!). The salt water pool was never crowded and there was plenty of parking spaces available. The only down side was the 'beach' which faced the ferry port (we went elsewhere). Nevertheless, all in all the hotel exceeded our expectations and provided a great base for exploring Malta and Gozo.

Our first experience was lunch in the K Lounge while our rooms were getting ready (we were early). After 10-15 minutes of sitting at the table I had to get up and ask for menus. When we ordered drinks the server brought us a large bottle of water for the 3 of us but no glasses to drink from. We all had other drinks but it's the small things that are up to a poor experience. We ordered the Mexican Nachos (terrible example of nachos, dry chips with a few jalapeno and cherry tomato chunks surrounding a shot glass of nacho cheese sauce, I do NOT recommend this dish) as an appetizer but it came out at the same time as the two pizzas we ordered and my friend had to wait over 30 minutes for his spaghetti dish to be served. I strongly recommend a full re-training of the K Lounge wait staff, this dining experience was a terrible way to introduce a group to the resort. The rooms are nice and clean with great views but are a bit out dated. Our biggest pet peeve about the rooms were the silly piece of glass they think keeps the water in the tub as you shower. The glass was too short in all directions and would result in a mess on the floor everytime. Instead of a nice big queen size bed they pushed 2 smaller beds together which would seperate from each other throughout the night leading to waking up in the night and pushing everything back in to place. We couldn't figure out how to get the air conditioning to work and the ceiling fan spun too slow to make much of a difference...

Staff were very helpful and the beds were very comfortable. Too busy on the w/e’s…lots of families with small children. Other than that nice hotel. The ocean view is very loud traffic. Bay view is a lot quieter.

The hotel is nice and comfortable. We stayed on sea side view. Overall it is pleasant, i just didn’t like the sound of the cars on the road from where we stayed as the room is not sound proof, other than that the hotel is very good for family. The hotel is near to all good beaches. We stayed for 4 days and it’s all fun! If you like to be outside the city and escape from many people then this hotel is perfect! Just rent a car so you can easily visit Malta.

Stayed a few weeks and it's a mixed bag. It's a hotel with great potential in a fab location but does not have the quality expected of a 4 star. It's more of a 2 star when you look closely. Great range of facilities but there was usually a drawback e.g., nice indoor pool but sauna not working, lovely outdoor pool area to sunbathe, but shards of glass on the floor and not cleaned up, nice gym but incredibly smelly due to the rubber mats. Nice location if you want to go to Gozo and well connected but obviously out of the way of shops, right outside a busy main road and exposed to the wind in the winter. Rooms spacious and clean but not soundproofed - can hear almost everything. And few things not working - fridge and I didn't have a bath plug. Food nice enough, and dinner is more varied than breakfast - however overheard a man say the pork was raw one night. But beer and wine on tap so very happy. Some staff were lovely particularly housekeeping. Decent shop downstairs to buy essentials. Nice evening entertainment and karaoke - loved that! So its alright as long as you keep busy and go out during the day and the weather doesn't confine you inside as that's when you start to notice these things more especially if you stay for more than a few days.

The hot water ran out in the entire section of the building and they had to move me to a different room in the middle of the night. They claimed my new room was an upgrade but one of the mattresses was uncomfortable and the room was unreasonably hot even though it was winter, the heat was off, and had two windows open. My friend also asked for two twin beds but received a room with only one double bed. When he asked the front desk they said he only got one bed because he’s only one person… I was also one person but was given two twin beds. They need more knowledgeable staff, a more generous refund policy, and definitely better mattresses, especially for a 4-star hotel.

Great resort that offers a lot to do. A few swimming pools (indoor and outdoor), gym, restaurant and even a mini supermarket. Few minutes walk to the ferry that connects to two other islands in Malta and great bus connection, X1 taking you straight from the airport to the hotel without changes. Staff very friendly and hotel rooms very spacious and clean. Will definitely visit again

I have stayed at this hotel in the past and have been totally satisfied, but this time they had three clowns interrupting the peace and quiet with insane disco music all round the main pool every afternoon, allowing and encouraging lots of small children to dive bomb the pool, when the notices around the pool forbid this activity! They dressed up in Micky mouse costumes in the evening and walked around the dining room interrupting our meals. If I wanted to go to Disney land in Florida or France I would have booked it! I don’t expect a four star hotel to subject there guest to this kind of so called false entertainment! With regret I will not be booking into this hotel again, until this kind of nonsense is stopped!!

Paradise Bay hotel is as the name says.
Returned many times always a pleasure. Reception staff most helpful welcoming with a smile and nothing too much trouble especially from long serving Victoria and Joanne. Rooms are well furnished and spotless thanks to Housekeeping. Every effort is made on the eco front but sensible like changing laundry/towels only when required instead of auto. Perhaps the catering has slipped a bit but coming back to high standard set prior to Covid precautions. I recommend the hotel particularly for its closeness to the Gozo Ferry and all bus routes around the island from the bus stop directly outside the hotel. International guests and children friendly. Will be returning again.
