Lovely getaway
We had an amazing stay! The property is beautiful, we woke up to horses and goats in the morning and were able to help feed the horses which my kids loved!!! We had rain one night and the tent held up just fine. We hiked across the street on some trails leading into mammoth cave, went for a horseback ride and did a cave tour. The hosts were very welcoming. I highly recommend.

The time away we definitely needed
Cannot say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay in the tent! The location was remote yet wonderful. The tent was very well furnished and the hosts were incredibly friendly. I would advise anyone to give the tent a chance, we absolutely loved it and plan on going back,

Glamping Fun
The owners were extremely friendly and helpful. They offered to help make a fire, left us little snacks, and let us help feed the farm animals. Our tent was clean and the air conditioner felt amazing. Thank you for a great time!

Great Place to stay for Mammoth Cave/Nolin Lake
Very short drive to the beach at the lake. Short drive to Mammoth Cave if the ferry is working. If not, it about 45 minutes to Mammoth Cave. My boys loved feeding the animals at the farm.

Beautiful and peaceful stay
The property is gorgeous: rustic horse farm with views of scenic rolling green hills. Favorite parts were watching the stars from yurt platform, hiking in local trails and visiting nolin lake for kayaking and of course caving. We had intense thunder storms which the yurt withstood well! Two bathrooms were clean. Kristen was helpful, very accommodating and responsive. Left a French press upon request for us! If you like nature and animals (cute goats, chickens, horses, dogs, cat) this is the place for you.

Glamping at a lovely little farm
We stayed in the adorable permanent tent. The host has a knack for comforting touches. She had the fire pit and s’mores makings ready, water in the fridge. The linens and bathrooms were clean. The view of the pasture with horses happily grazing was very relaxing.

A wonderful way to experience Kentucky Cave Country! We are a family with a young child that loves nature but are not hardcore campers, so this was just perfect! The yurt is beautiful, well-constructed, and beautifully appointed. One night during our sale we experienced a very severe storm with heavy rain throughout the day - the tent was bone dry and held up wonderfully. The bed was comfortable and the extra fold-away bed was perfect for our child. The amenities made everything very comfortable - a microwave, minifridge, and keurig, complete with everything you would need to make a cup! There were even dishes and s'mores supplies! The heaters kept the tent nice and cozy even though it got down into the 30s. The bathrooms are a short walk away and definitely the nicest I've ever used while camping - heated with nice showers and amenities to use if you did not bring your own. Our host was so kind, helpful, and accommodating. She introduced our child to the many horses and other animals, giving her some treats to feed to them. She also offered to build our fire for us!

Amazing!!!
This place is one of those best kept secrets! Accomodations were beyond what you get in a standard hotel and no request goes ignored! Bathroom Shower Rooms are very clean. Linens, utensils, towels, microwave and mini fridge, grill, heater/air conditioner and fire pit with wood are all ready to go when you arrive. If you are an animal lover like me then you are in luck! Farm animals, horses and even a host cat named Nemo. If you are wanting to go to the Blue Holler off-road Park, no worries because it's next door. I 100% recommend lodging here and will definitely be back.

Not glamping experience we expected
First of all, we didn’t stay, we left without checking into the tent. We got the impression it was private and away from other buildings, but it was near the road and animal stalls and other farm structures. Two biggest problems were it was much smaller inside that we expected and with our luggage we would not be able to move around. And other problem was we could not drive up to the tent, so would have to carry all our stuff. We just thought we could access our van easily for food prep stuff and belongings that did not fit in the tent. Also we had to duck to get through zipper door, and I am 5’10”. It was my husband’s 80th birthday, so he was not happy so we left. So my advice would be a better VRBO description that it is small inside and that it requires lots of walking to your car, and show some pictures of other angles so guests see how close it is to rest of properties. Ps The inside looked clean and cute otherwise. The owner was nice and worked with us on a partial refund.

Since these potential guests parked their car in lane and declined to park in the space provided prior to even viewing the tent, I would have to say they weren't planning to stay. Probably a birthday surprise gone wrong. The tent is a 5 meter tent as listed. The walk is listed in the description as well. The tent is located by horses for whom we provide a shelter which is nearby. The road is 2 pastures away. Also listed in the description is the walk to the tent. These travelers are well suited for a hotel.
