When you visit Al Hoora, be sure to spend time in the Bahrain National Museum which celebrates discover 6,000 years of country history and is considered one of the finest museums of its kind in Al Hoora and the Persian Gulf region. Explore the Investing in Culture exhibit within the grand foyer, which leads into several exhibition spaces, including the Halls of Dilmun Graves, Dilmun, Tylos and Islam, Customs and Traditions, Traditional Trades and Crafts and Documents and Manuscripts. The museum complex sits on a man-made peninsula near the Al Hoora neighborhood, overlooking the island of Muharraq.
From the Bahrain National Museum, walk the 0.9-mile (1.4-kilometer) waterside path to Marina Beach Garden Park. Relax on the sand, enjoying water views. Let younger kids get active on the playground. From here, venture farther south to Manama’s beach resorts, with wide varieties of dining and entertainment choices.
