The Toasted Marshmallow

Welcome to the Toasted Marshmallow!

This is right where you want to be, in this private cozy cabin in the woods. Enjoy the hot tub and the near by trails on snowmobiles or side by side/ atv. Hiking trails are just nearby too! We are apart of Lakes of the North association (L.O.N.). So you can have access to the club house pool and amenities for an addition fee. This Cabin can accommodate up to 5 people. With 2, full size beds and a twin size bed in the bedroom. We offer WiFi connection and the living room has a smart TV to enjoy all your favorite shows/movies. It has a full bath, full kitchen and dining bar space. Pets are also welcomed for a small fee. Variety of local restaurants, gas stations, grocery stores are within a 10 minute drive.

Northern Michigan is known for its beautiful seasons! Summers on Torch Lake, a 45 minute drive. Cherry Festival and Movie lovers will enjoy all the festivities in Traverse City during the summertime which is less than an hour drive. Stop and visit Bellaire and Alden for craft beer at Shorts Brewery and nicknack shopping, 20 minutes away. Great snowmobiling with trails leading to Gaylord, Wolverine and even up to the Mackinaw Island Bridge! With ski/snowboard hills just around the corner at Shanty Creek and Schuss Mountain in Bellaire or Tree tops in Gaylord! They offer golf courses as well.

We offer entertainment for everyone! So enjoy the best seasonal activities Northern Michigan has to offer at the Toasted Marshmallow!

A true hidden gem. Refreshing to stay at a property where everything is as advertised! A true 10/10. Each decoration, each amenity is well thought out and the property is exactly as described! A+. We wanted something “between” Traverse City & Mackinac as we followed the coast, and something away from our busy city days. Cozy cabin
My boys (9&10) and I had an awesome weekend at the Toasted Marshmallow. It was clean and cozy. The hot tub was the perfect way to end each day. The clubhouse pool was a ton of fun. Would definitely recommend!!

Absolutely amazing!
The Toasted Marshmallow is the cutest, coziest little cabin! The place was super clean and we couldn’t have asked for a better host. Our host Jamie was amazing, any questions or concerns we had she responded immediately. I was super appreciative of the maps with this listing showing where the seasonal road was located. We overall were extremely happy and plan on returning for another adventure.

Cozy relaxing cabin in the woods
So fun! Hot tub was perfect, love the privacy curtain on the deck. Great expansive wooded property. Beds were so comfy, furniture and kitchen beautiful and well stocked. Smart TV worked perfect for the kids and their gaming systems. Area was nice, clubhoise pool was fun for the family with a waterslide. Took a trip to Shush and Bellaire. Great little area with nice drives and shopping. We would love to come back!

Thank you for allowing us to call your cabin home for a few days. It was immaculate and offered everything we needed to enjoy our weekend! The location was perfect, 45 minutes or less to so many great spots. We spent time in Boyne City, Petoskey and Gaylord. Jamie was the best hostess we have encountered. We look forward to returning.

There are simply too many things we loved about our stay at The Toasted Marshmallow to put into paragraph form, so I will do bullets: Extremely clean and well kept property. Based on previous reviews you can tell that the property owners take guest feedback into consideration. Neighbors are visible across the road but still private. Very well stocked - the fact that there were Q-tips was a huge plus for us. Comfortable beds and blankets. Ability to do laundry was MAJOR. A dog bed for Pancho. The hot tub after a day of hiking DURING a thunderstorm was peak zen moment. Hot tub has a curtain for privacy. The hosts were very responsive and great communication. We were able to make a day trip to Sleeping Bear National Park, Mackinac Island, and Charlevoix - long drives but totally doable. We absolutely loved loved loved our stay. The best part was making friends with the neighbors brindle cat. She is extremely sweet, please be nice to her if she comes by to say hello!

What an amazing getaway cabin
I have rented over a dozen rentels from vbro and I have to say that this one is my favorite. The place is immaculate, Jamie was fantastic to work with and it's in a perfect spot between multiple cities. If you are looking for an outstanding weekend getaway. This is the place to do it. Very nice place. Me, my husband and our 5 month old puppy stayed for a nice little getaway. It was very clean and update. Jamie was very helpful when needed and responded to me very quickly. She even helped us with lake ideas for us to go fishing and side by side rentals. Love it all
