Whem comparing hotels in the area, and other hotels in upper Michigan, this is an outstanding hotel. Clean, quiet, and friendly. Most northern Michigan hotels are very dated, and in rough around the edges. My wife and I enjoyed the stay, and would not only recommend, but book another stay.

Property was clean and quiet. It was well maintained. I stayed in a quality inn the previous night. It was dark and uninviting. Bathroom was atrocious, sink was broken AND it cost $10 a night more.
