The Rock Cut Cabin is a small air conditioned 2 bedroom cabin that overlooks Lake Superior about 2 miles South of Marquette on highway US-41. It is nestled between two rock outcroppings and has a great view of Lake Superior. Just across the highway is a bike path that will lead you to Marquette beaches and around town on a paved pathway. In the winter the pathway turns into a snowmobile route that connects to the major area trails. Marquette Mountain ski area 5 minutes away, city of Marquette 3 minutes away, Northern Michigan University and Marquette General Medical Facility are 10 minutes away. Kitchen is equipped with all cooking utensils. Linens and towels provided. Hiking close by. Nice restaurants and shopping in Marquette. Includes charcoal grill.

This property reminded me of an old deer hunting camp with extras like hot water, a shower (mostly clean) and a TV that worked occasionally. This is a very tired property that really needs an overall updating. The location was a couple of minutes from downtown Marquette. The view of Lake Superior was beautiful as long as you ignored the 4-lane highway out front.

Superior location! Great Rental!
We loved being all but 2 miles from downtown and having a lake view. The firepit was such a treat. The outdoor space and lower level garage was perfect for us as cyclists. We would definitely stay again. Reasonably priced and their communication was top notch. Thank you!

Great view of Lake Superior. Not accessible because if the highway but the deck makes up for that. The tv didn’t work great, internet buffered a lot and slow to respond to remote control. Not there for the tv but nice to unwind with at night. The location to town is very good. Check in and out was easy and Tom is very good at responding to questions.
