We recently stayed at the Fairmont Royal Palm Marrakech and it was a truly delightful and luxurious experience. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality and outstanding service. The hotel itself is simply stunning, with beautiful grounds and elegantly designed rooms. Every detail was thought of, from the comfortable bedding to the ample amenities. But what truly made our stay unforgettable was the amazing proposal that the hotel organized for us. They went above and beyond to create a magical and romantic evening that we will never forget. We would like to personally thank Amine, the room dining director, for his exceptional attention to detail and for making sure every aspect of the proposal was perfect. And a special shout-out to Sara, the guest relations agent, for her kindness and for making our stay truly memorable. The hotel was spacious, vast and immaculately kept. Plenty of areas to enjoy some peace and quite and a nice walk around the property and grounds. Lovely golf course, facilities and swimming pools including the gym and spa. Nice choice of restaurants however if you are vegan, the food is extremely limited / no choice in some restaurants. Although the managers were helpful and tried to accommodate, the lack of English speaking staff made it hard to communicate my dietary needs. They really need to include at least two vegan option dishes for starters, mains and deserts as a minimum in all restaurants including at the breakfast buffet, otherwise guests will eat out. As we visited in January the hotel was very quiet as a result staff were super attentive to the point of annoyance. One evening as I was getting ready for a shower a male staff member walked into the room (he may have knocked but I didnt hear). We found therefore found our privacy was lacking due to the constant knocks on the door, offering smoothies, fruit, cakes. Lovely touch but just too much for us. Both our coffee machine and fridge were not working and no hairdryer had been provided. However the best part of the room was the bed, absolutely divine and the best nights sleep weve had in years. One point to note is that everything here is overly expensive. Breakfast was £40 each and an Aperol Spritz £20! Also check your check out bill...they fleeced us on taxi prices compared to the yellow cabs!

The Fairmont is our favourite hotel ..... in the world! We have stayed at so many amazing places but this is just so special. The setting, the design, the service the ambience. Everthing is perfect. For us travelling from Manchester UK it means we can be in a perfect place in just a few hours. It’s our 3rd time and I am sure we will be back again. Brilliant hotel but they charge for like everything, very money minded they dont miss a trick - check your bill in this place they tried to bill us for stuff we didnt do/use. Its expensive but ok if you want a quiet time and into golf.

Beautiful grounds
This property as a whole is amazing. The grounds are meticulous, lush and well-maintained, and the design is gorgeous. I loved that there were three different pools to choose from (main, indoor spa pool, outdoor fitness pool) so there was never any sense of crowding. All of the staff members were super friendly and cheerful, and I was greeted by everyone I passed. The spa looked gorgeous and I'm kicking myself for not getting a service. The room was absolutely huge, and I thoroughly enjoyed the balcony space. I will definitely be back!

Our stay was amazing! The staff was super nice and quick to help, always with a nice attitude and positive vibes. They gave us an upgrade on the room as soon as we arrived and it was so beautiful! It was my birthday and the staff/hotel surprised me with a birthday cake with my name on it. It was very thoughtful! We were treated so nicely, the hotel amenities were amazing! I totally recommend and will come back!

My only bad comment was the slow service and lack of attention towards hotel guests from the staff at the pool area. Also the pool menu wasn't great and it took over 45mins to bring out a Club Sandwich.

The service provided was very good. We were celebrating my boyfriend's birthday and when they gave us the room it was very nicely decorated with rose petals and there was even a bit of cake! It was big and clean, the bathroom had such a nice bath tub and the view from the terrace was lovely. Only downside was that the hairdryer provided by the hotel kind of exploded when I was drying my hair and that was quite scary! All the sockets stopped working because of this. The pool and surroundings were very nice, quiet and relaxing. The food we ordered to our room was quite disappointing and not what you would expect from a 5* hotel. Breakfast was not included which for the room price per night is quite disappointing as well. But overall it's a great place to enjoy the sun and views and relax!

The whole experience was great. We had a great time for the earlier part of our stay. The only issue arose when we upgraded to Junior Suite Garden. The room we got (312) was worse than the standard room. The hotel was fully booked and they didn’t seen to communicate properly when we requested to move from that room. We ended up remaining in that room as no one responded to our complaints and a promise to send a manager after several complaints never happened Overall it is still a lovely hotel. And you can see from my previous review of the hotel that we loved it. We had lunch at the Golf restaurant on the last afternoon and that was superb, wish we had found that earlier.

The family rooms were lovely & large, however we weren’t too impressed by the housekeeping service - we had to request them to restock toiletaries and loo roll a couple of times. The outside swimming pools, tennis courts & gym were super & very well maintained. However, the restaurant and spa prices were higher than those charged by many 5* hotels in London, but sadly not as good quality. Overall we enjoyed the hotel, but with a little more attention to detail & quality and a review of their pricing, it could be a fantastic rather than a very nice hotel.

Great hotel, just wish they had an indoor heated pool for kids for when the weather is cold or raining - they have one in the spa, but only for over 16s. Also they could do with having more frequent shuttles to Marrakesh town

Excellent stay in Marrakech
It’s a fabulous hotel. We extended our stay. Check in was a bit long although we booked last minute as we moved from another hotel we didn’t like.
