“Ouray is beautiful. This is our second trip to the town, but first at River’s Edge. John, the owner greeted us cordially, checked us in and walked us to his beautiful garden/yard to show us our room. Bed was comfy. But the VIEWS from our room and shared balcony (no elevators, but only 2 floors. We chose 2nd because of the better view. “The room appeared to have been recently remodeled / restyled. It was very tastefully done. Even the blinds in the windows were of extremely good quality. The toiletry products were amazing - Bee Kind. Plus they placed these in large dispensers in the shower and at the sink, showing good eco-friendly practice. It was a good breakfast offering as well. The only thing they could improve upon is the view outside of room #2 overlooking the back of the room had some outside drainage issues.”
