The hotel is nice and modern and was lovely and clean in a great location in the centre of Memmingen. There is also a great bar with typical German food available on the ground floor. It has everything for the perfect stay however there is big issue which can’t be overlooked and could ruin your stay. The rooms are unbearably hot with no air conditioning, they have huge windows which we opened but because it is on a main road in the centre of town, it was very noisy from road noise very early. The bins outside are emptied around 4:00am which woke me both mornings. It was too hot to sleep with the windows closed and too noisy to sleep with them open. We had 3 rooms booked and everyone had the same problem. It’s a lovely hotel but none of our group slept well for the time we were there.

Nice hotel, which is located next to a brewery pub. Good location and a recommended. Easy parking close to the hotel.

The hotel is conveniently located in a short distance to the centre, all the amenities are clean and new, and the personnel is very welcoming. Note that the reception works from 2-10pm, so if you need an early or late check-in, let the staff know. They were really helpful and accomodated out late arrival.

Great location but limited service
We only stayed here for one night because we had to catch an early flight from the local airport. Check-in and out was fast and easy, the location was great and the overall condition of the room was great, too. What was missing was a fridge and air con - It was very hot when we stayed here. I would stay again but probably not in summer.

Great hotel with fantastic restaurant & brewery
The Riku hotel Schweizerberg (not to be confused with the other Riku hotel in Memmingen) is a great little hotel in a perfect location for exploring the stunning town. It's fairly small (about 30 rooms I'd say) and 10 minutes walk from the train station. The rooms are stylish and modern, with a nice (but small) bathroom, and everything is spotlessly clean. The rooms are slightly basic, no tea & coffee facility, and no aircon or fans available, which made our room unbearably hot (the reason I can't rate it 5*). The service was very friendly although the reception desk is only manned 14:00-22:30. The breakfast was a decent continental buffet although you have to pay for it the night before due to no reception staff there in the morning (€7.50 per person). What really makes this place is the attached restaurant and brewery (Barfüßer). The food was amazing, freshly made flatbread pizzas, local specialities, and plenty of different home brewed beers. The waiting staff were also really friendly and cheerful, and the food prices were very reasonable. The food here was so good we ate here all 4 nights of our stay. Overall a great hotel with excellent restaurant. We'd definitely stay here again, although not in the middle of summer. Even if you don't stay here it's worth a visit just for the food.

Memmingen Riku times two.
A very clean, modern hotel with ample parking. Note, however, that there are two Riku hotels on the same street in Memmingen. We went to the wrong one, initially, but we're very quickly and courteously redirected to the correct hotel.

Great for a one night stay
The room was clean and comfortable but does need air conditioning because when the window is open its very noisy especially if the room faces the main road which ours did. The restaurant attached to the hotel did very good food and reasonably priced.

Clean comfortable we'll run but on a busy street.
Modern immaculately presented hotel. Friendly staff. Attached to a very popular bar and restaurant. The hotel is located on a busy street junction and my room was facling the street which made it a little noisy.
