We booked this hostel through Expedia but when we got there they said we had no reservation and did not get any money from Expedia. All places were already booked in town because of a special event. This was a very poor situation. We have not heard back from Expedia about our situation yet. One hotel staff said he would help us resolve the situation but never got back to us but the front desk lady was excellent and helped us find another place.

Awesome Hostel- shame about the bathroom
Great place to stay. Reasonable breakfast of buns, cornflakes and yogurt. Air conditioning is wonderful. Close to the city. Most of the reception staff speak good English. Half day bodega tour good. Only negative thing about hostel is the the bathroom configuration and how tiny the shower is as it is pushed right up against the toilet.

The shower is in the toilet
The shower was literally on top of the toilet. So every time I had a shower the toilet was soaking wet. Stupid!!!!

This place is okay
This hostel is comfortable enough and central to restaurants and parks in a walkable city. Staff is excellent and breakfast adequate.

Terrible, unmaintained and some rude staff
Firstly the staff member behind reception said he could not find our booking, so asked us to email him the booking whilst he attended to his more important matter of texting. After a few minutes, once prompted, he managed to put his phone down for a couple of minutes and check the email account... He then informed us that the double room we booked was no longer avilable, without any form of apology. At 10pm after a full day on the bus, we just wanted to sleep , so compromised to have a twin room the first night and switch the next day. The 'twin' was a tiny bunk bed not fit for a child and the bathroom didn't look like it had been cleaned in years, mildew and mould everywhere. Breakfast was basic, small stale rolls and peach jam. The second night the double room was no better, we were on the ground floor and the window didn't close. The pictures must be from years ago when it was first built as they are completely inaccurate. The proudly advertise winning an award in 2012, its obvious why they haven't won anything in the past 3 years. As a backpacker I'm used to staying at hostels, but would not recommend this place to my worst enemy.

They offered secure luggage storage, was helpful in suggestions for activities when the border to Chile was closed for multiple days.

Better options avaiable
Its a hostel, pretty basic, bathrooms really need updating, breakfast hours need to be improved, not everyone stays out all night and dleeps late. Many people get up earlier than the hours set for breakfast.

Bathroom sucks
We were staying in Mendoza for the Fiesta de la Vendiimia. The Hostel Suites Mendoza has a great location and the parades pass right on the corner. It is also near Plaza Independencia. Our room was on the first floor and the WIFI did not reach our room. The bathroom was basically a shower stall and water went everywhere, including leaking out into the room.

Péssimo
É uma mistura de hostel e suítes com banheiros privados. Pontos positivos: atendentes sempre dispostos a ajudar e boa localização dá pra fazer os passeios pela cidade a pé. Pontos negativos: café da manhã muito fraco, sujou as louças você tem que lava-las. Internet não funcionou no quarto, só funciona na área da recepção e teve um dia que não funcionou. Quarto que fiquei hospedado estava com as paredes sujas e sem tomadas elétricas. As toalhas eram péssimas e estavam rasgadas pelo uso. Não fizeram a limpeza do quarto. Eu não voltaria me hospedar lá. Deixou muito a desejar.

Die Zimmer sind durchaus bewohnbar, allerdings sollte man sich im klaren sein, dass es sich um ein Hostel und kein Hotel handelt. Dieser Umstand berücksichtige ich in meiner Bewertung. Das Zimmer verfügt über ein eigenes Badezimmer, das aber extrem klein ist. Die Größe wäre für eine Dusche angebracht, allerdings wurden noch Waschbecken, Toilette und Bidet hineingequetscht. Ein großzügige Innenhofterasse ist vorhanden. Leider war sie so schmutzig und die Aussicht auf die umliegenden Gebäude so uneinladend, dass es am besten war die Tür zu schließen und die Vorhänge zuziehen. Das Personal war sehr nett und ging auf alle Anfragen ein. Leider kann ich die Unterkunft nicht weiterempfehlen. (01.2018/37€ p.N.)

Hotel simples, mas funcional
Hotel de fácil acesso, funcionários atenciosos e quartos limpos. Banheiro das acomodações privadas eram muito pequenos (chuveiro sobre o vaso!) Mas, no geral as instalações foram suficientes e adequadas ao preço. Alguns quartos estão em reforma, o que deve melhorar todo o hotel. Recomendo!

Alternativa barata
A localização é ótima, bem no centro da cidade de Mendoza. Dá para fazer tudo a pé. Tem restaurantes, supermercado e bares nas redondezas. O quarto é pequeno mas suficiente para passar algumas noites. O banheiro também. Uma coisa que poderiam melhorar é o colchão, muito velho e de espuma, afundou durante a noite. Muito bom para quem procura uma alternativa barata no centro de Mendoza.

En zona céntrica, cerca de locales comerciales.
Al principio nos dieron mal la habitación y no tenían la que realmente pedimos por un error que cometieron en la reserva desde la administración central de Bs. As. Por suerte el personal de Mendoza pudo conseguirnos una habitación como la que habíamos reservado. La preocupación por solucionar el problema fue por parte del personal mendocino, ya que a los de Bs. As. no les preocupó en lo mas mínimo.

O celular infelizmente não funcionava no quarto, nem wi-fi e também não tinha sinal de 3g. O atendimento do local é muito bom, o pessoal da recepção sempre muito prestativo, nos ajudaram a agendar todos os passeios que queríamos.

El griterio de los pasajeros toda la noche.
Todo me pareció perfecto por el precio acordado, menos los gritos y cantos de los pasajeros durante toda la noche, tirados en el suelo de los pasillos dialogando a todo volumen. No me dejaron dormir con tranquilidad. Menos mal que solo estuve una noche, sino me hubiera tenido que cambiar de hotel.-

O quarto estava limpo. A cama nao e muito confortavel, meio barulhenta. Celular nao funciona no quarto, sem sinal de wifi e telefone. No segundo dia, nao tinha mais agua quente a noite. Os funcionarios sao bem prestativos, responderam todas as nossas duvidas e ajudaram a gendar os passeios.

Está ubicado en el centro de Mendoza por lo que es fácil moverse a cualquier lado. El Hostel es chico, el baño es incomodo pero se sobrevive bien. El desayuno es pobre. El personal es muy bueno y resuelve cualquier duda y problema.

En general fue una muy buena experiencia en el hostel, el cuarto estaba muy limpio y las zonas comunes muy agradables para conversar, el personal del Hostel muy atento. Tal vez hace falta variedad en el desayuno ya que siempre era el mismo menú y para las personas que nos quedamos por varios días, puede llegar a ser un poco monótono comer todos los días lo mismo.

El hostel tiene una buena ubicacion
La verdad es que el hostel me parecio de un estándar normal y sencillo, el personal del hostel siempre muy dispuestos ayudar. Lo único que definitivamente no nos gusto es que en la publicación aparece que tienen internet y si bien esto es cierto no hay interne en las habitaciones, lo cual es incomodo y poco practico para el huésped, toca salir al comedor o estar en las zonas comunes del mismo para poder acceder al internet. Estamos en una ERA en donde el internet es el principal medio de comunicación y sin este la verdad se dificultan muchas cosas, creo que es importante la honestidad en relación a especificar que SOLAMENTE hay internet en zonas comunes y no en las habitaciones.

Wir würden wieder kommen.
Günstiges Hostel mit gutem Service und vor allem mit Klimaanlage die super lief. Wir hatten 4 Tage über 40°C das hat uns gerettet. Das Personal ist super nett und sehr hilfsbereit. Es gibt ein großes Angebot an Ausflügen. Wir haben Citytour, Alta Montanan, Bodega, Rafting, und Reiten gemacht. Alles war toll und war das Geld wert. Wir konnten auch spontan verlängern.

Excelente lugar para conectarse con todas las actividades de la provincia. Excelente atención! Gay friendly. La ciudad es NO gay friendly. El hostel realiza excursiones muy buenas.... Muy recomendable la de Alta Montaña. Fácil acceso a los viñedos a través del tren que une con la ciudad de Maipú.

El hostal deja mucho que desear. Llovió una noche y se inundó la habitación y a nadie pareció importarle. Además nos dieron una habitación con dos camas incomodas cuando solicitamos una cama doble. Areas comunes casi nulas.

Hostel agradável, mas fizemos reserva para um quarto de casal e nos deram um com beliche, e ao questionarmos fomos informados que não tinha mais quarto de casal disponível. O banheiro é bem apertado, o chuveiro é literalmente em cima do vaso sanitário. Mas o Hostel é super limpo e o staff atencioso.

Estuvo muy bien , pero esperaba más
Recorrí muchos hosteles y a este le faltaba entretenimiento.. Como pool, metegol, pileta, ping pong, lo cual no había actividades para realizar en el hostel únicamente se podía usar las compus o tomar una cerveza.. El personal excelente pero falta un poquito de mantenimiento.. Para pasar un par de noches y recorrer la cuidad de mendoza es excelente principalmente debido a su ubicación!
