Perfect getaway
My wife and I booked this adorable A-frame for the weekend to get away from our busy lives and it did not disappoint. It was clean, cozy, and quiet. We planned on going for nature hikes and exploring more, but we ended up just staying in the cabin because of how homey and comfortable we felt. We will absolutely book again in the future.

So cute! Perfect location!
Cabin is just as described. So cute and cozy. Perfect for our cross country ski weekend. Tasha was very responsive to communication and very helpful. Perfect location! We spent a day at Caberfae and a day at Crystal Mountain. Lunch in Frankfort and quick trip to Cadillac. All within 30 minutes or less of the cabin. Would definitely stay here again.

Its was a great place to stay for a little ski trip. Was close to the ski resort but not in a super busy area. It was clean and cozy. Lots of nice amenities as well, would definitely stay here again and highly recommend!

Just as advertised
Great little property off the main highway near lots of great hiking trails. Closest major city is about 30 minutes away with normal amenities like grocery stores, pet stores and so on. Canon was as described and shown in pictures. *no curtains or blinds on either the front or back door so not much for privacy but overall it is a great place.

Nice A Frame Cabin In The Woods
We had a great stay in Mesick. The cabin was everything we needed. Great check-in and host communication. Very peaceful and relaxing.

Love Love Love!
This cabin is perfect. This was our second visit in 4 weeks. Tasha is great to work with and easy to communicate with. The beds are comfortable, everything is clean, great kitchen to cook in and a great location for a get-a-way and to visit our son at Interlochen Arts Academy. Thanks Tasha. See you again soon!

Amazing Stay
This was an amazing stay that offering lots to do while also providing a wonderful home to stay at. This unique property provided both breath taking views, especially at night, but also provided great attractions within a short drive. Sunsets and stargazing were also a plus. Would highly recommend for any stay.

Perfect retreat for a couple days in northern Michigan
The place is beautifully located and quite remote. Especially at night, one has a clear glance at the stars and the place in the forest conveys a great atmosphere. Though covered by trees, the proximity to M-115 makes it not as calm as we hoped for. Nonetheless, it was perfectly clean and everything one needed for cooking/showering etc. was in the house. A great plus is the quick connection either to Lake Michigan or up North to TVC or any river or lake one wishes to visit. Shopping for groceries is best in TVC.

The property was really nice and secluded The house was clean and had everything you could think of for kitchen use Plenty of outdoor seating and fire pit along with a cornhole set Everything was very clean The only negative is the noise if you sleep downstairs It’s close to the road so trucks etc are very loud Just bring a fan or noise machine and problem solved

Great cabin for our family
We found this cabin and it was a perfect place for us to explore the area. Cabin had a great set-up and met all of our needs. The availability of a washer and dryer were great touches. Host was very accommodating and was a great with communication as needed. Our family throughly enjoyed the cabin and found it's location was great for our daily outings.

Colorize the sign at the end of the driveway
I would say that you might want to look at colorizing the driveway marker. As it is, the current marker is a little dark to see. As a side note, the traffic moves along at 65 mph or more. Certainly not the fault of Tasha for sure. Other than that, it was a nice cabin to stay in.

Fantastic cabin in the woods!
It was a great stay! They had ample space for two people; even the bathroom was more spacious than anticipated. The owner provided coffee, games, and breakfast sandwiches to help make our stay more enjoyable. We played a board game out on the back porch, which enhanced our experience that much more. We had the outdoors at our disposal, while having somewhere we could chill with shade but without mosquitos. We had hoped for a DVD player, but the fact that it wasn’t there didn’t kill the experience. Thank you for such a wonderful time!

Weekend Get Away
This is a great property. Very clean. It had everything we needed. We loved being so close to the Mesick Mushroom Festival. We used the deck, fire pit, TV, stove and the coffee maker. We look forward to coming back.

Cozy cabin for outdoor enthusiasts
We traveled to Mesick to get away from the city. This cabin is charming and close to hiking, skiing or golfing. We enjoyed the outdoor patio and cozy living space. We found it challenging to go up and down the ladder for bedtime, but that likely due to our age! Overall we had a very pleasant stay!

Excellent A frame cabin within easy driving distance to Caberfae Peaks!
We enjoyed our stay at this location and it was suitable for two adults sleeping on separate beds. The futon was somewhat uncomfortable but the upstairs mattress was cozy. If we were to stay here again, the rock/paper/scissors loser would get stuck sleeping on the futon. An appropriately sized bed in the same corner would be more convenient, though younger kids likely wouldn't mind the futon. Washer and dryer were a godsend during a few days of skiing, while the property included all other needed amenities. The couch reclines waaaay back and is very comfortable when watching television. The back porch area received little use during our cold stay, but would prove to be an excellent hangout during summer months. The shower head and toilet would benefit from replacements. Great water pressure. Property is well cared for and is appropriate for other summer/winter outdoor activities. We'd definitely consider staying here again when skiing at Caberfae Peaks.

My husband, 9 year old son, and I stayed here for an extended weekend. We got snow each evening we were there, it was absolutely beautiful. Perfect getaway
We got away for a few days at this charming cottage. It is perfectly situated 1/2 way between Cadillac & Traverse City; which both cities have great eating and shopping. The cottage was so close to walking paths. The surroundings were magical with all the snow on the trees. I can’t imagine how beautiful it looks like in the fall or in summer.

Very nice small cabin
It is a very clean small cabin located right off of a main road. It was only 2 of us staying for 4 nights, but you could easily fit 2 more people on the other bed and maybe more if you brought an air mattress for the living room. All of the appliances worked great, having a washer drayer and shower is a big plus for a cabin in this area. Would stay again!

Great place for weekend getaway
I booked this place for my husband and son (age 7) for a weekend getaway. They really enjoyed the place - it was clean, cozy, and fun (my son really loved those stairs). They also loved the outdoor space and got to play catch. October is beautiful time of the year to visit northern Michigan and they got to see the leaves change color. They visited Beulah, Sleeping Bear Dunes, and Crystal Mountain.

Just what we wanted
My husband and I really enjoyed our stay this week. The house served us well. The bed and pillows were really comfortable, as was the couch. I was delighted to find ice cube trays in the freezer! We didn't do much cooking, but I don't think we would have lacked for anything except perhaps a cutting board. We even found a mini unopened pancake mix that we put to good use. My hubby enjoyed the coffeemaker and coffee; I was glad to find tea bags but forgot about them later. We ended up being too busy to spend any time in the yard, but the seats looked inviting. The only suggestion I'd have would be to list which basic soaps are provided (I guessed wrong, no biggie). There were a couple questions I had for Tasha and she was quick to text back. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again. Thanks for giving us a comfortable home base for getting out to make some cherished Michigan memories!

My family of 4 stayed at this property for 4 short nights. We were so very pleased with the accommodations. This cute little cabin is surrounded by woods. There's a spacious deck with plenty of seating, a gas grill and a fore pit outside. We roasted lots of marshmallows! We were so impressed with the cleanliness and beautiful modern decor. Would absolutely stay here again and recommend to anyone looking for a nice quiet getaway. We also recommend checking out nearby Elberta Beach. It's absolutely beautiful and less crowded than Empire.

Last two days of a two and a half week adventure for two mid sixties campers
This cabin was the closest I could find near Sleeping Bear Dunes and I'm glad I did. It was perfect for the closing of our old lady adventures. I simply booked online and had no direct contact with the owners so I can't address that category. But a liked the cabin and the location a lot.
