We had an okay experience while we stayed there, but the issue was more the reservation part of it, possibly more an expedia issue. As we reserved our night there through expedia we got everything entered in and somehow the date of the reservation changed. We checked before we submitted but u guess didnt reverify. When we got to the hotel that night we didn't have a reservation. Asked to cancel the one we made 2 weeks later and they said they couldn't, that we had to fo thru expedia. When i tried to go thru expedia they told me they couldn't because of the hotel. Not sure why we couldn't cancel, but i do know i wont ever stay at that hotel or go through expedia.

The property is well maintained and the price is excellent. Breakfast is included wich included eggs, sausage, potatoes. The weekend breakfast was a lot better than the week day. All in all an excellent place to stay.

The property was clean, the room very comfortable. Once I entered my room I was called by the front desk to make sure everything was fine. I thought that was a nice touch. Breakfast was simple, which was fine.

Requested housekeeping to clean floors. They came and left, but the floors were still dirty. I wiped the floors myself by hand with wet wipes, which picked up a lot of dirt. Breakfast includes hot and cold items but became boring after several days of eating the same things. It would be nice to have more variety. Sometimes guests consider breakfast options when booking. I'd rather pay a lower nightly rate (without breakfast included). Coffee wasn't the best, and my standards aren't that high. Ended up buying coffee at Scooter's nearby. Mattresses weren't super comfortable. All this is tolerable. Our stay was ok.

Following a quick check-in, I checked out the room - everything was in good order, clean and fresh - couldn’t ask for better. I enjoyed getting a phone call from the front desk a few minutes after I was able to unpack wanting to make sure the room met my approval. With coffee in the room and 24 hour coffee at the front desk, needed refreshment was at hand - breakfast was served from 6am, simple but enough.

I am highly dissappointed in the staff and owner of this establishment amd their lack of compassion. We were there for a funeral (explained to them) (6 or 7 rooms total). The morning of the funeral my significant other sat in a desk chair (he weighs 160 lbs if that) and it broke! (The chair was supported by metal rods) we immediately brought it to the front desk attendent. Thinking they would be greatful and after a very frustrating conversation we were instead threatened that if we didnt pay them $500 they would call the police on us. The police were called & after the police told them that any educated person who looks at this chair could see it wasnt intential and to avoid any further problems (poor reveiws, possible lawsuits if they did try etc) they needed to allow us to leave. Upon checking out i had to actually ask for my $100 incidental fee back and learned from family who was also checking out right after we left they took the broken chair and put it right back in the room! All i can say is BE AWARE!! Check your credit cards and ensure your not being charged for anything else other than your room! And expect to be treated like a criminal! Dont let the nice rooms and them calling you to make sure everything is ok with your room because clearly they are setting you up for failure! WILL NOT BE RETURNING EVER!!!

The most disturbing thing was that the front desk called twice on our second stay, asking whether everything was okay. That is rare, and gave me a creepy feeling, like they were checking to see whether we were there. Front desk did work fine, but didn't say anything while the slow system did it's thing. The walls are paper thin, and we could hear every word spoken by every family walking down the hallway.
