Spent several nights for a couple of weeks staying here while doing a job in the area. The staff was friendly, the rooms clean, and the hotel was located near enough the job to be very convenient. Thanks!

Not a Good Value

When I first walked into the hotel there was a stale musty odor and I proceeded to my room with a view of the parking lot. The pillows were hard and not comfortable and the parking lot provided a noisy atmosphere. In the morning I couldn't get the hair dryer to work. I must say, however, that the breakfast was very good. I found the hotel to be overpriced for what you got.

Ok,but not so great.

Pros: Breakfast was nice.
Cons: Housekeeping could try to be quiet and not shout up and down the hallway all morning.
Location: I wouldn't know about any things to do nearby, as there was NO INFORMATION offered to us in our room.
The desk staff were very friendly but they put us in a first floor room directly across the hall from the housekeeping room. After traveling all day long, we put our Do Not Disturb sign on the door and hoped to get some much needed rest. Well, first thing in the morning all the housekeeping staff gathered in front of our door to talk , and laugh, and proceeded to shout out to one another from that room throughout the whole morning. I guess do not disturb just means they won't bang on your door. There was no information on the hotel in the room, no phone list, or local businesses, not even a tv channel directory.

A Weekend in Wauwatosa

The beds were very comfortable. Two different types of pillows...firm and soft...appreciated a choice. Quiet (except for the noise the doors make as they close). Convenient location. Breakfast was okay...nothing special but adequate. Staff very helpful and friendly.

Poor internet connection

Pros: I loved the beautiful lobby area and the great breakfast!
Cons: Cleaning service and internet. Those two. Period.
Location: We went to the lake and a wedding at a local church.
Very poor internet connection....slow service. We were out on sunday morning and planning to spend sunday evening. Our room was not cleaned when we returned at 1:00 to take a rest. We hung the DO NOT DISTURB sign and went without clean, dry towels.

Pros: Proximity to mall area.
Cons: Price of hotel is too expensive. Radisson across the street was only $89 per night for tournament and Holiday Inn would not deal on price.
Location: College bowling tournament at AMF Belero.
Wifi was terrible, hard to get connection. Room smelled dirty and hallway smelled like smoke.

Cons: Aging hotel with mildew, clean issues and smells with dated furnishing
Expedia booking at Crown Plaza and they had a rule of only 3 people per room. We needed another "similar property" she used a cost comparison and suggested the Med Center Holiday Inn Express. It was a similar price but certainly not what my wife and family are used to. Soiled bed sheets, dirty floors and mildew smelling bathroom with scales and stain in the tub. Work out room was not good as they had no way to spray and de-germ the equipment - also dirty in all the corners and crannys. Showing wear but still a decent property for what it was but we typically stay in Hilton or Marriott properties for the obvious reason and over all experience and quality level. The desk staff were great. Crystal that checked us in did everything to make us happy and Carolyn, manager credited our last nite so we could move to a Hilton Garden Inn. All fixed as it was an incredible stay. Wife and kids are very happy. Don

Good Value in Tosa

If you want a comfortable hotel in Wauwatosa and especially near the Medical Center you can't beat this place. The parking area is well lit and near the front entrance so your car feel safe.the staff is friendly, the rooms are clean, and the food is adequate.
